As Branchstar leaped onto feather-rock, the clearing quieted. "You all have decided that Blackflower is innocent." A few sigh of relief came from the clearing, nearly blocking out the sound of a few angry hisses. "Clan dismissed."

A wail of guilt came from the clearing. As cats gathered around, they saw Darkvine standing over Maplepaw. Tears welled in his eyes. Branchstar padded out but his gaze was not sympathetic to the dark warrior. It was filled with hatred and disbelief. The leader hopped onto feather-rock. "As you all may know, Maplepaw has sadly gone to starclan." He dipped his head in respect, "But the last night, before her death, she came to me with a message. She told me that she was the sleuth!" The clan cats below gasped. "She related to me some information about the traitor." His gaze turned to Darkvine as he let a furious hiss. "And now her own father has taken her life!" Darkvine looked up his eyes round with surprise. "B-but I.." "He killed his own mate!" A cat hissed. "He killed my mate!" Blackflower stepped close to him, her teeth bared. "For your traitorous acts you are sentenced to death!" Branchstar flicked his tail angrily. "You haven't won yet!" The warrior hissed as Blackflower, Brightpaw, and Heatherpaw tugged him out of the clearing. The rest of the clan watched as the dragged him out. "Sadly, there is another traitor among us." Branchstar sighed, "But we will find them!" "Any accusations?"
