07 : 38 am

Seokjin suddenly woke up from his sleep when he heard something. Nobody could sleep properly that night after what they had seen. They would close their eyes only to open them again, thinking that they heard something. But at some point in the night, Seokjin had fallen asleep, as both his mind and body were tired.

Seokjin sat up quickly and looked outside through the small window, to see the sun rising up slowly, through the buildings. He suddenly heard something, not from outside but from inside the room and he turned quickly.

It was Yoongi squealing. He was stuck under Jungkook's leg. It sat on Yoongi's throat and he was squirming underneath it, like a worm trying to escape.

Seokjin suddenly went to Yoongi and lifted Jungkook's heavy leg and placed it slowly on the floor. Jungkook was still in deep sleep. It was very hard to calm him down after last night's events, so Seokjin thought it'll be best if he didn't disturb Jungkook's sleep.

Yoongi sat up, breathing heavily, rubbing his neck.

"Thank you Seokjin... Thank... You...", he said in between taking deep breaths.

Seokjin sat down beside Yoongi, leaning against the wall and sighed. He looked like he had lost all hope. He looked at his watch, a gift from his mother, to see the time ticking away second by second, hour by hour, day by day. How long would they have to stay in the supermarket? How long would their current shelter protect them?

June 28 | DAY 4
11 : 27 am

Time seemed to fly away quickly as it could, days felt like hours. It had already been four days since they first encountered a 'zombie' and it felt like mere hours.

Everybody was awake now, but very quiet. They had eaten the food that Yoongi scavenged from the shelves but still looked very tired. Seokjin felt like they would not survive through this if everybody lost hope, so he tried to lighten up the mood.

"So Hoseok... What do you do? I mean do you have a job?"

Hoseok suddenly lifted his head to look at Seokjin, startled by the sudden question aimed at him.

"Oh me?", he pointed to himself.

Seokjin nodded his head.

"I work as a cameraman for the 'SB24' news channel, in Busan.", Hoseok replied, smiling softly.

"Oh really?! I was going to interview for that channel... As a reporter actually.", Seokjin said, surprised.

"Wow... Really?!", Hoseok exclaimed.

"I was fired from my old job... There's actually a funny story behind it...", Seokjin said.

He felt calm all of a sudden and felt like he could breathe peacefully.

Talking always helped him. Whatever the problem was, he could talk his way out of it. Seokjin was known as the 'Chatterbox of Gwacheon' according to his high school friends, he couldn't really shut his mouth. Even though Seokjin couldn't talk his way out with the 'zombies', he could at least use his gift to ease the atmosphere, to break out of mind-numbing thoughts.

Hoseok looked curious to know what the story was and he leaned in, so did the others.

Seokjin got excited and explained the story of how he got fired from his old job. He had been always mistreated by his superiors at the old news company and was more of a servant rather than a reporter. He never used to get any interesting stories to work on, the rich and influential ones used to get everything. Ultimately, he lost it, he punched one of his superiors in the eye, yelled at them and thus, he got fired.

Seokjin explained each and every scene with his built-in ability to add humour in everything and everybody ended up laughing. The tension in the room eased up a bit, their faces brightened up.

June 28 | DAY 4
01 : 03 pm

"Guys... Do you think the people on the bus are safe?", asked Taehyung out of nowhere, while munching on some cookies, their lunch for the day.

"I don't know... I really don't...", Namjoon replied, with an air of thought in his words.

"I hope they're safe... There were no zombies in that area... It was pretty clean, so they might be alive.", Jimin added, brushing the cookie crumbles off his hands.

"Even if they are alive, they wouldn't have anything to eat or drink, right?", Taehyung asked again, after taking a cookie from Jungkook's hands.

"Yeah", said Jungkook, after snatching the cookie back and stuffing it in his mouth, "We shgtdsfgc hekghkj thebgh."

"What?", asked Jimin.

Jungkook swallowed the cookie in his mouth and said, "We should help them."

"But we'll have to go out for that. I'm not doing that.", Yoongi suddenly chimed in, his eyes locked on Seokjin's face, who seemed to be thinking about something.

Hoseok saw this too and asked, "What are you thinking?", interrupting Seokjin's thought process.

"I was just thinking bout how the zombies never come out in the day.", Seokjin said, which led to a moment of silence in the room but suddenly broken by the sound of Taehyung biting into another cookie.

"Stop eating! We will run out of food if you eat like that.", Yoongi scoffed at Taehyung.

Taehyung suddenly emptied his pockets into the metal tin, five or six cookies flew out of the pocket, into the tin. Yoongi looked at Taehyung, narrowing his eyelids and Taehyung smiled back, pulling his shoulders up.

"Yeah, you're right. We've never really seen them out during the day.", Namjoon said after pondering on the fact for a while.

"Guys they're zombies... not vampires. They don't really care whether it's day or night... They come out only when they see food... Us!", Jungkook suddenly interrupted leaving Namjoon annoyed.

"You watch way too many movies.", remarked Namjoon.

"Well nobody believed my Zombie theory at first, but look what happened...", Jungkook muttered in a sassy tone. Taehyung giggled at this reaction.

"Let's do a test run.", Hoseok suddenly jumped up.

"I mean... We could throw something or make some noise and see whether they'll come out."

Seokjin felt that this was a good idea. They had to help the people on the bus. Even if the passengers had somehow escaped from being killed by the creatures, they would starve to death if they didn't help them.

"Okay! Somebody start collecting the supplies and the rest could do the 'test run'.", Seokjin recommended and the rest agreed to it.

It was decided that Namjoon, Yoongi and Jimin would collect food and water, while the rest would do the 'test run'.

Heyyyy loves... The book reached 500 reads and I'm so happy... Like seriously, I can't explain my happiness in words.

The countdown thingy was a CLOWNERY... We all became clowns that day.
