BLOODLUST
::  v. | the curse

[ 1 MONTHS LATER ]

Regina still couldn't believe of her failure a month ago. After her conversation with rumple, he told her about a curse, a dark curse that will fix all her problems. Of course a deal was struck before he handed her the tiny scroll. It was nothing she couldn't handle though.

After leaving the dark dungeon, she returned to her castle and was oh so chipper. She walked through the double doors and was greeted by her guards as well as Jesabel. She gave Jesabel a light smile and instructed the young girl to follow her.

The two walked into the chambers as the doors magically opened and once they were in, they closed. Regina wanted to be alone with her when she told her the good news ——well double the good news.

The two were inside when Regina turned to Jesabel with a smile on her face.

"All of my dreams will be coming true very soon."

"How many dreams do you have?" Jesabel was wondering what else could be on the queen's mind.

Regina glanced her way, "That's for me to know and for you to find out very soon."

"Anything I can help with then?" Jesabel felt this need to be around her. Regina's presence just did something to her body and she didn't know what it was. It could've been lust, desire, a lot of things —— or maybe feelings were abnormally growing.

"Hm. How considerate." Regina hummed, "But no, hermosa." She walked around Jesabel, "I've got it all under control."

Just as Regina was heading towards her closet of night gowns, Jesabel stopped her. Something in the young woman has been aching and she finally found some courage to say her piece.

"Why don't we ever share what we're feeling?"

"Because feelings are for the weak." Regina's back was turned towards Jesabel.

"I don't think so." Jesabel's tone was soft.

"Well then, you're delusional." The queen continued to her wardrobe, "I'm going to bed now."

Regina then walked on into her closet and shut the door. After Daniel's passing, it was really hard for regina to open up again and though she has these feelings for the girl, she's scared. She doesn't want to get hurt or worse, she doesn't want to see her get killed. All of that reopening would've been for nothing.

Jesabel however, she was aware of this. She was aware of Regina's heartbreak, she knew it was going to take awhile to get her to open up but she was down for the challenge. But she knew she was doing something right because Regina kept her around anyway.

Regina gathered some of her friends as well as her father and Jesabel. She was in the process of enacting the curse and she already had everything she needed. She wanted everyone to be there for this big moment when she got everything she ever wanted.

"Today —— " Regina spoke proudly, "You all are witnessing history! And I will go down as the evilest of them all!" She turned to her father, her voice softened, "This is what needs to be done."

"There are other ways to be happy, regina." He tried to convince his daughter not to do something she'll regret.

"This makes me happy, daddy." She stuck her hand through his chest, "I have to do this." Then pulled out his heart.

Jesabel's eyes widen. She couldn't believe regina was going to kill her dad for revenge. She then realized how far gone regina then was. She wanted to intervene but she knew it wouldn't change anything.

Regina held her father's heart over the huge bowl that was boiling. She began to squeeze and all it did was bring gentle tears to her eyes. Because she didn't want to hear her dad's pain, she crushed it oh so quickly. Not only a moment later did she begin to realize that nothing had happened.

Was her father's death all for nothing? She couldn't believe how gullible she was and she definitely had some words towards the person who gave her the scroll.

The Evil Queen found her way back to the dungeon where rumple was still being held. She stormed up to the cage with anger. She was pissed off of how she got played, allegedly. Even though she was angry, she knew there was probably something that went wrong.

"What did I miss? I followed everything." She hissed.

"Well dearie, I wouldn't say everything." Rumple giggled.

"Then tell me." She leaned forward, her face barley touching the dirty bars.

He sarcastically sighed, "You have to crush the heart of the thing you love most."

"My father. I did that already."

He waved his finger, "No, no. We both know who I'm talking about."

Regina's mind wandered towards Jesabel and she was right, she killed her father for nothing. But killing Jesabel is last thing she wanted to do. She thought since she wouldn't have her father, she'd at least have Jesabel. However, good things die hard sometimes.

So the queen turned on her heels and left the dungeon. She met everyone back at the site where she's enacting the cruse. Though there were a moans and groans, she filled them in that she knew what to do now.

"I was wrong about before. I loved my father, but his heart isn't what we needed." She spoke amongst everyone, "It's yours." She then turned to Jesabel.

Jesabel immediately protested, "Regina, no. Let's talk about this."

"I'm sorry." She whispered.

"Please don't." The burnette lightly pleaded with tears now drizzling down her cheeks.

Regina didn't want to look at them because it would've been that much harder. So the queen looked up as she pulled out Jesabel's heart. She took no hesitation. Everything happened so quickly. All there was left was the dust falling into the big bowl from Regina's hand.

Right after the last drop, purple smoke erupted. A big smile spread across Regina's lips. She thought at least Jesabel's death meant something and she was for sure going to have great happiness.

The curse spread all around the Enchanted Forest, a few areas didn't get hit, but a big majority did.

For Regina, it felt like a new beginning was uprising.
