BLOODLUST
:: iv. | the apple

It's been three weeks since the Mikaelsons left and Snow White's escape. Regina came up with the best plan to lure Snow White. She was going to use Jesabel as bait. Jesabel coughed up the guts to be honest with the queen about her conversation with Snow White and yeah, regina was mad. But that gave her an idea that turned into a plan.

Jesabel would contact Snow White somehow and tell her she needs help, she would write where and since Snow White can't resist helping someone in need, especially someone who was kind to her, she'd come running.

The letter was sent. Now it was time to head to the location, it was where regina saw snow for the first time. It was the field where horses are ridden, but this field has great significance. So Jesabel and regina hopped into the carriage and began their journey to the field where it all started.

Jesabel had mix emotions the whole time. Since she heard about the plan and then getting into the carriage, even as they were on their way to the field. She understood why regina wants revenge but at the end of the day, it's someone's life and it's someone people love. She realized she had no business judging because those same thoughts crossed her mind before she fed on people. So she stayed quiet the whole ride.

Soon the carriage came to a stop. Jesable looked out the window and saw they were still in the woods. She turned to Regina, "Why did we stop?"

Regina began to get out, "We're walking the rest of the way. Trust the process."

Jesabel then followed regina out and the two began their way to the monumental spot in the field. It wasn't as long as a walk as Jesabel thought but as soon as they got there, they both waited patiently for Snow White.

As they continued to wait, regina pulled out her secret weapon— an apple. She stared at it with an evil grin as Jesabel stared at her with a confused expression. What was an apple going to do? That's exactly what Jesabel was thinking.

Regina slipped the apple back into her pouch as she saw Snow White approaching. It's about damn time, she thought.

"Jesable, I got your letter." Snow spoke in a worried tone, "Is everything ok?" Her eyes glanced up to regina then back to Jesabel.

Jesabel didn't say anything, she just moved backwards a bit and regina moved forward towards snow.

"You were very hard to track down." Regina began, "But you have to know why we're here, right?"

"You have to be at some kind of low to use someone to get back at me." Snow breathed out towards the end.

Regina sucked her teeth, " I wouldn't call it getting back, more like wanting you dead. And use? No, Jesabel is a willing participant." She got closer to Snow White and whispered, "She learned the truth."

Snow's brows were furrowed, "What do you want?"

Regina pulled out the apple from her pouch and held it out to snow, "Take a bite."

Snow sighed, "Will this change things?"

Regina didn't have to say anything else, she just gave the princess a look. Snow took the apple and after one last glance between regina and Jesabel, she brought the apple up to her mouth then took a bite. As soon as that bite was taken, she immediately collapsed.

Regina was amused. She went and picked up the apple then began to head back to the carriage. Jesabel stood there looking at snow's body. She wasn't sure if she was dead or passed out. She still had mix emotions about everything but she was 100% on Regina's side. After one last look, she turned and followed regina back to the carriage at a distance, leaving snow practically dead on the ground.

Time had passed and regina thought she finally won. Snow was gone and life could finally be good. But maybe she should've stuck around a little longer to witness the motions that were being played to save Snow White.

As soon as Prince Charming heard of the news, he got on his horse and rode to his lover's aid. The dwarfs had made a coffin in a log for the princess. She was covered with a glass conceal. By the time charming arrived, the dwarfs claimed she was already dead and it was too late.

Charming approach the handmade coffin in hopes of saying goodbye to his love with a kiss. Little did he know, what could happen afterwards and what a kiss like that really could do. He lifted up the glass and moved it to the side. He stroked her hair and his eyes laced with pure love as he leaned down and pressed his lips against her's.

As he pulled away, snows' eyes fluttered open as she sat up. Charming didn't question anything, he had the biggest smile as he cupped her face and went in for another kiss.

"You found me." She spoke with a smile after their kiss broke.

"I'll always find you."

As everyone was rejoicing, regina was planning her next attack. She watched those two through her magic mirror, all smiles and happy, she hated it and she couldn't believe her plan failed yet again.

So this time, she'll make sure it'll stick. If she can't have her happy ending, neither can snow. Now, she was saving this for a rainy day but it turned out to be her last resort. She needed to go see rumple because she knew he would know what to do in the following next steps.

So that's where she went . . . down into the dark dungeon to see her infamous mentor.
