(Virgil POV)
(Modern day)

I just finished getting my rituals done and then i pass out on the couch and janus offers his wrist I drink, remus is making janus some food, when janus’s phone goes off I hand it to him he looks at it, then shows me

‘roman and crew are coming over probably tonight’ it's from remy I get my fill and lick his wound closed instantly he looks at his wrist in amazement,

“love, wow.” I smile,

“thanks jan, it’s just one of the perks of being royalty.” janus looks at his texts and shouts towards remus

“looks like roman is coming early”  remus brings janus a small spread to replenish what i took, remus sits on my other side and pulls me to his chest, i snuggle close to him, kinda stealing his warmth a little remus doesn’t seem to mind he just cuddles with me, the first ritual i did was the brood ritual, but we have been getting closer since then. Then remus sighs, then gets me to look at him

“virge i’m warning you that roman is a lot protective, especially of me” i kiss him,

“no need to worry, unfortunately one of the powers i posse is the royal aura, it doesn’t affect humans, but it does make vampires in a lower status bow to me, i can’t turn it off.” janus looks at us,

“if you can’t turn it off, why isn’t Remy affected?” i look at him,

“He is but not as much because I'm his sire, so he’s technically in the same class as me. He still can’t defy a direct order from me.” janus nods and then there is a knock at the door janus gets it, remus sets me gently down on the couch while he closes the blinds, i just gaze at the way he does it then janus comes  in with a vampire and two humans, though i can smell that the smaller one is anemic, i stand and the vampire immediately kneels like a knight, now i get remus’s comparison the anemic human squeaks and goes up to the vampire,

“hon you ok?” the vampire responds

”I don't know pat, I can't seem to stop.” Pat looks at the other human,

“Logan, do you know what's wrong with roman?” Logan shakes his head,

“unfortunately no patton.” I approach the group and stand  in front of roman,

“you may rise, young one.” roman gets off the floor, then the three turn to me and patton looks at me warmly,

“hello,who are you?” i smile back knowing roman can’t fight back against me either way,

“oh, I'm Virgil, and you?” Patton smiles at me,

“I'm patton, the one on my left is Logan, and the one on my right is roman.” roman is kind of glaring at me as remus grabs me from behind and picks me up bridal style,

“virge come, my love,” he brought me to the couch, logan and patton follow to the living room but roman is still in place i get out of remus’s grip for a second,

“roman you can join us.” logan looks up from his book and gets a good look at me then towards roman,then back to me, 

“Um virgil, normally roman isn’t this docile, why is he now?” ooh i like them smart and observant,

“because he is a vampire and he’s in my castle, and i’m here,” logan raises an eyebrow, i continue

“I’m virgil black, crown prince of vampiric thrown” then roman stands at me saying that, logan looks at the two of us,

”And since roman is a vampire, he has to follow what you tell him to do?” I nod and wave roman to relax he does and sits with patton on the love seat while Logan is in the armchair and janus, remus and i share the couch with me in the middle. Roman pipes up

“what did you do to my brother?” I look at him.

“he and janus both agreed to this, but they are my brood, also your brother is hella kinky.” roman flushes

“uh um yeah he always wanted to be bitten from the neck, but i was always afraid to so i only took from his arms.” i laugh at that,

“so that’s how he got his sexy scars.” roman blushes,

“your majesty, can we please not talk about my brother’s kinks?” i nod

“No need to be so formal, we are going to be brother in laws after all.” I snuggle into Remus, Logan speaks up,

“Remus is our usual area open?” remus nods, patton looks at this,

“um i have a question,” i nod for him to ask,

“um it’s kinda personal, but who’s scent is fresh rain and vanilla?” I look at him,

“it’s mine, why?” he looks embarrassed

“it’s really strong” i nod,

“yeah the spell hasn’t set yet, give it time” patton gets up and excuses himself to the kitchen, i smell ocean and strawberries, but it has an underlying heat scent, i get up and follow him, sealing the kitchen from the others,

“are you ok?” he sighs,

“roman wanted this trip and i haven’t made my nest, so i don’t feel secure especially with the 4 of them, i just want to hide.” he sits at the table and starts sobbing, he looks at me through teary eyes,

“why aren’t you affected, you should be since the history books say that you are an alpha.” I laughed softly,

“Oh um, the books are wrong, I have other powers, but I'm an Omega, we should really update those.” I held my hand out to him, the finger tips glowing slightly,

“why are your fingers glowing?” i look at him gently,

“i have a strong sense of smell but you are getting stronger, so the spell i’m going to use will cover up the heat smell until you can get to a safe spot to nest.” he takes my hand and i apply scent damping,

“shall i get you to safety?” Patton hugs me

“um please, i forgot to tell my mates about me starting, what will you tell the rest?” I smile softly,

“that you aren’t feeling well and that i’m taking you to bed. Can I pick you up?” he nods i pick him up and carry him
bridal style to his room, which i was told was where I woke up. I put him in the bed, then I helped him get most of the supplies for him to nest,

“anything you need from me?”  he nods,

“Roman and Logan need to be told privately.” I nod, I go to the living room after showering and change clothes,

“Logan, Roman, can I talk to you guys, privately?” The two follow me towards the basement, once I was sure that we were out of hearing range,

“patton needs you guys, he has a little problem,” they look at me only logan speaks up,

“what do you mean virgil?” I sigh, I'm genuinely surprised that roman hasn’t noticed yet.

”Patton started his heat” when i said that they both blink at me then rush towards the basement, i look at roman,

“stop sir knight Roman sanders,” roman stops dead (heh dead) in his tracks

“how do you know my name?” I smile

“I had a hunch, since Janus introduced himself and Remus when they freed me.” he is still frozen in place, before i release him i say,

“take care of him, since he is a guest in my domain, you may go” after I say that roman books it to be with patton and i walk back to my brood and just cuddle with them.

”why did you take patton to bed?” Remus asks, i look at him

“he wasn’t feeling well.” he nods, they look towards me, then we cuddle on the couch.

(Modern day)

Patton’s heat ended and I'm glad he felt safe enough to nest in our home, I was able to help with making food for pat and my brood and I got closer, I am wearing the clothes we shopped for we went to a mall specifically a store called hot topic it was awkward when the human employees saw their vampire boss bowing and trying to kiss ass to me, stupid aura but we will go back just not when that boss is in, but the employees were pleasant, Janus bought me a phone so I could do whatever I wanted and still stay connected to my brood, I also got headphones with a noise canceling feature so I'm not on edge every time I leave the house, I learned that remus is unemployed, but he's what is called a house husband and janus is in law school but has a paid internship at his dad's firm, once remy contacts me with him being told to bring me in, I will be able to access the limitless riches, so I can spoil my brood.
