"Shh" Jordan whispered as he held her close to his chest. The man looked around before walking deeper into the forest.

   "Stop bossing me around. You can't even breath properly when the actual boss is around" Dax said watching others enter the forest. When they were out of sight, Camilla let out a sigh of relief before looking at Jordan.

   "We have to follow them, Jordan" she said about to head to the direction the strange people went but Jordan held her back before she could leave.

  "I know a safer way to find them" Jordan said taking her hand. He walked up to a higher ground in the forest. He inhaled with his eyes closed and opened them and they glowed blue.

  "How can we see from here?" Camilla asked frustrated before she saw Jordan's eyes. "What are you doing?" She asked and his eyes turned back to normal.

  "Take a deep breath and it'll come to you" Jordan told her softly. She looked at him unsurely before doing as he said. As she opened her eyes, everything was so close as if someone pressed the zoom button. She gasped as she spotted the people she was looking for. She looked at the big ancient house in amazement. She wondered how no one noticed the building that was right there in the forest.

   "Let's go" she heard Jordan say and she blinked a couple of times before she could see normally. Jordan ran down the high ground and looked at her smugly. She scoffed as she gently made her way down.

   "I may be a werewolf but I hate exercise" she said as she reached him.

  "Come on, it's fun. What has Mark been teaching you?" He asked and she shrugged.

   "How not to kill an innocent person. It's all focus and meditation, really" she replied and he sighed before taking her hand.

   " Just feel the air sweep through your hair" he said before taking off again and this time with her. Camilla shot him an annoyed look before feeling the cool breeze on her face. She smiled before picking up her pace without Jordan's help. Jordan smiled in admiration as he saw her savour the air. He let go of her hand before giving her a distance and morphing to a wolf. He didn't care about anyone seeing him because the road of the forest was lonely, no one dared to use that road in the dark.

   Camilla smirked when she saw him morph. She felt energy surge through her and she equally morphed into her wolf self.

   As soon as she reached Jordan's house, she saw him by the door in nothing but sweatpants on. He smirked at her while throwing a blanket he was holding at her which she caught with her teeth.

  "You're a bit slow, you know" he said and she snarled at him. He raised his hands in defense while she glared at him. She ran to the side of the house and morphed. She quickly covered herself with the blanket after the cold wind hit her bare skin.

   "My dad's asleep upstairs so let's be quiet" Jordan said opening the door for her. They both went to Jordan's room and Camilla made herself comfortable on the bed.

  "Here you go" Jordan said giving her one of his hoodies.

   "Where's the bathroom?" She asked with the hoodie in her hand.

   "Down the hallway" Jordan replied lying face flat on his bed. Camilla huffed before glaring at the back of Jordan's head.

   "Don't turn around, ok?" She said and Jordan immediately turned, "I said don't" she seethed.

   "I'd die of suffocation if I do that." Jordan replied with a playful smile on his face, "I'll close my eyes" he said closing his eyes.

   "Put a pillow on top of your face" she commanded and he did as she said. She counted five in her head before quickly putting on the hoodie. She climbed on the other side of the bed and sighed. She inhaled his scent both on the hoodie and the entire room. She smiled contently as his scent enveloped her. She felt Jordan move on the bed before he covered her with his blanket and drew her closer to him.

   "Is there a clone at your place?" He spoke into her hair and she nodded. She turned to face him and snuggled closer. "Goodnight tiger" he said with a smile on his face.

   "Night" she replied softly before darkness took over.

  V's phone vibrated just as she entered the warehouse where she and Zayn worked on the machine. She sighed as she read the text, it was only the morning after their first stake-out and Camilla had already sent everyone a text asking to meet up. It was obvious that she saw something.

    "Hey there" Zayn greeted as soon as he spotted V. He frowned as he saw the tired expression on her face. "Are you ok?" He asked and she nodded before yawning.

   "Yeah, just had a rough night" she replied before taking a seat. Zayn looked at her with concern before dropping the screw driver he was holding.

    "I was test the engine one more time before tightening the knots. You can go home and rest, if you want." He said and V was about to protest when he cut her off, "V, I don't think you can work in this state. Missing one day isn't going to change anything. Your health is important" he said before looking away embarrassed. V smiled a little before nodding in agreement.

   "Thanks Zayn" she said and he nodded before clearing his throat.

   "I should get back to the machine" he said and she nodded amusedly, "Um.. V?" He called out just before she left. She turned around and looked at him curiously while he rubbed the back of his neck, "Do you want to go out and have lunch sometime? You don't have to accept, if you don't want to. I hope I'm not pressuring you but-" he rambled only to be off by a laugh. He looked up and saw V smiling at him. He was starstruck as he stared at her smile. His heart was going a million miles per second yet all she did was smile.

   "Give me your number" V simply said staring at the once confident boy looking more nervous than ever. She didn't know what pushed her to ask him for his number but she did. She equally started to feel nervous which was weird for her.

  "Oh sure" Zayn said sighing in relief. He called out his number for her and she nodded.
While typing it into her phone.

  "So.. tomorrow then?" She said biting her lower lip and Zayn waved nervously.

  "Yes, tomorrow" he replied

   "You guys won't believe it but Jordan and I have found out where the mages are hiding" Camilla declared as soon as everyone in their little group was complete.

   "Where are they?" V asked stretching her legs on the couch.

   "In an old house deep inside the forest" Camilla said proudly and Sean sat up.

   "We should tell Dad and uncle immediately before any other person is kidnapped or even worse, killed" he said and Micheal nodded.

   "Meeting dismissed, I have sleep to catch up on" V said and without wasting time, she was out of the door.

   "I should go, Ashely's not coming in today" Scarlett said before adding, "And my brother is still waiting for you", she said to Sean.

   "Why does he want to teach me so bad? I thought he was joking when he told me to come" Sean asked rubbing his face in frustration while walking her out of the door.

   "It's either, one, he needs a punching bag or two, he wants to show off his skills to someone" she said entering his car. Sean closed the door of his car groaning while he walked to his side of the car.

   "Micheal, I swear if you don't come out of the house this second I'm driving off without you!" V yelled angrily and Micheal ran out of the house almost tripping in the process.

   As they walked confidently in the central aisle, the witches around looked at them in disgust but they couldn't care less.

  "I heard rumours that you mages came around but I couldn't believe my ears." The representative of the witches' council stated as she approached them, "I hope you didn't forget our deal" she added and the mage in front chuckled.

   "We were hoping the same. That you witches remember your boundaries" he said and the representative raised her brows.

   "What do you mean?" She asked and the mages laughed.

   "Tell your witch to stay out of our business and we'll stay out of yours" he said and it didn't take a wise sage for her to know exactly the witch he was talking about.

   "Fine, anything else?" She asked and they smirked.

   "You know, it's not too late for you witches to join hands with us and get rid of these witch hunters for good." The mage said.

   "I'll inform the council. If that's all, then I advice you take your leave" she said smiling politely and as soon as they apparated, she rolled her eyes and scoffed. "Looks like it's time to pay little Scarlett a visit."
