Scarlett peeked one more time into her dad's room and made sure he was asleep. She tip-toed to her own bedroom and closed the door. She opened the book of hex that was on her bed and searched for a particular spell. After what she saw in the parking lot earlier that day, she knew the girl didn't die of any natural cause at all. In fact, she suspected witches or warlocks.

  "Once this spell is used, anyone who casts it should be back immediately ten minutes elapses. If the caster goes contrary to the rules, then person would die"

  She was ready to try anything as far as she met the Council of Elders. She drew a medium sized pentagram on the floor with a chalk and sat in the middle.

   "Ego desiderium convenire quod concilio autem seniores " She chanted. She kept on chanting the same sentence for a few seconds before she felt herself sitting on a cold floor. She opened her eyes and looked around the office she was in. She saw a woman signing something before she looked up.

   "What are you doing here?" The woman asked. It was the same woman who came to the sugar factory after Derek was defeated.

   "I'm Scarlett" Scarlett said standing on her feet. The woman removed her glasses and sighed.

  "Scarlett Kim, I know. We don't need to exchange pleasantries, do we?" The woman asked impatiently.

  "No, i thought i was going to meet the council of Elders." Scarlett said.

  "I am the official representative of the council. So anything you wish to say to them, you can tell me" The woman replied leaning against her chair.

   "Oh ok" Scarlett replied trying to find the right words to explain why she came. Before she could start talking, the sound of a big bell rang in her head making her winced in pain and surprise.

  "Seems like you have limited time so state your business and be gone" the woman said and Scarlett nodded after recovering from the episode.

  "A girl was found dead in my school parking lot and her blood was drained. I have a feeling that she might have been killed with magic or something of that sort." Scarlett explained quickly.

  "Seems like the blood mages are at it again." The woman mumbled, "The council made a deal with the blood mages to stay out of their business so anything they do or say is none of our concern unless it affects the coven." The woman said.

   "Blood mages?" Scarlett asked confused and the woman nodded. The sound of clock ticking started to echo and Scarlett knew her time was limited.

  "Yes, blood mages. You should go" the woman commanded and Scarlett tried to argue. The woman pushed her hand forward and Scarlett started to fall backwards.

  She gasped for air and opened her eyes only to find herself in her room, in the same spot she left. She looked at the clock that hung in her room wall, 11:41pm. She then realized that she would have been a minute too late if the woman didn't send her back. One thing that registered in her mind was that it was no ordinary witch or warlock that was attacking Mystic Hollows but blood mages.

   "Hey Scarlett" Camilla greeted as soon as she saw the asian girl in the parking lot. She didn't even wait for a response before continuing, "Can you believe that the news said that Nora drowned herself? They even said she wrote a note to her family. How is that even possible?" Camilla said angrily. Jordan was standing patiently behind Camilla while she let out her anger.

   "I wonder what they are trying to hide" Jordan said thoughtfully and Camilla nodded in agreement.

   "Hey Cam" Sean greeted earning a grunt from Camilla before he could ask her what the problem was, Micheal stumbled out of the corner of the parking lot looking worn out.

  "What's up with you?" Sean asked and Micheal ran his hand through his hair.

  "V is missing" he stated and Scarlett gasped. Camilla's hands started shaking in fear and Jordan put his hands round her.

  "What happened?" Sean asked.

   "I went to wake her up this morning and she wasn't in her room. We asked everyone around and nobody knew where she went. I tracked her phone and I found it there" he said pointing at where Nora's body was found.

  "So that's why the police were everywhere in town" Sean said, "what do we do? How can we help?" Sean asked and Micheal shrugged.

  "I don't know. I'm just.. I'm so confused." Micheal said.

  "We need to find her fast" Scarlett said letting out a shaky breath, "This is not an ordinary kidnap, she was taken by blood mages" she explained.

  "Blood what?" Micheal asked in confusion.

  "Blood mages, blood mages, I've read about them before " Camilla muttered before widening her eyes, "Yes! Blood mages are like witches that use blood to perform magic" she said.
   
   "So the reason Nora was looking pale was because her blood was used for magic?" Jordan asked and Scarlett nodded.

   "How do you know that? Scratch that, how do we find my sister?" Micheal asked worriedly.

  "I have an idea but we can't wait till school is over before we go. V might end up like Nora before we are done." Scarlett said.

  "I can afford that. My cousin is in danger, I can't sit through geometry knowing that" Sean said immediately.

  "You don't have to ask me" Micheal said and Scarlett nodded.

  "My dad will understand" Scarlett added.

   "I can help" Jordan said and Micheal nodded in appreciation.

  "What about me? My parents have no idea what's going on. What the news carry is what they know. What do I tell them when they ask?" Camilla said worriedly. Jordan put his hands on either of her shoulders and made her face him.

   "I think this is the best time to use your special ability, power or anything you want to call it" he whispered quietly to her. She looked at him unsurely and he smiled at her.

  "I can do this" she said encouraging herself.

  "Do what?" Micheal asked. Sean and Scarlett understood what she was planning to do so they didn't need to ask.

  "Guys cover me" Camilla said and Jordan, Sean and Scarlett used their body to cover her. "Done" she said stepping out of their fence. The parking lot was almost empty and the sound of the bell was heard.

   "Is this a joke?" Micheal asked as he saw another Camilla step out of the human fence.

   "I'll explain it later." Camilla said before turning to her clone, "you know what to do right?"

  "I understand what you are trying to say. Bye" the clone said before walking inside the school building.

  "Let's go before anyone sees me" Camilla said and they all agreed.

   "I thought we were supposed to find my sister or something" Micheal said stepping out of his car. He stared at the big vintage house in front of him in confusion.

   "This is the safest place we can use to find her" Scarlett said and Camilla opened the door.

   Scarlett rushed to the kitchen and collected a bowl and knife. She entered back into the living room and kept the thing she brought on the table.

  "We need to know if she's still alive. Micheal can you come over here for a second?" Scarlett asked and Micheal looked at her in utter confusion. "Micheal listen, I'm.. I'm a mage. I can help you find your sister" she said and Micheal rolled his eyes at her.

  "You're not serious, right?" He asked before he saw the deadpanned expressions on Camilla and Sean's faces. "So you're serious" he stated.

   "All your questions will be answered later, now we need to find V" Scarlett said. Jordan sat quietly beside Camilla. He was a bit surprised but the fact that he's a werewolf still balanced everything. She's a mage, he's a wolf, two abnormalities, what's there to be surprised about?

  Micheal walked slowly to her and she took his hand in hers. She used the knife and line on his palm. He winced in pain before breathing heavily. His blood dropped in the bowl and Scarlett started muttering a few words. In a few seconds, a loud sound of heartbeat echoed in the house. Everyone was taken aback by the sound and Scarlett smiled in relief.

  "She's alive" she said. She ran to the kitchen and came out with another bowl of water. She poured the water into the bowl with Micheal's blood. She took a deep breath and deeped her face into the bowl. She gasped and raised her head towards the ceiling. Sean rushed to her side and held her. "She's in the old mines." Scarlett said and Micheal stood up immediately followed by Sean. Camilla gave her a towel to wipe her face.

  "Wait a minute. We can't just go there and knock on the door. What do you think they'll do? Freely hand her to you?" Camilla asked and the two boys mumbled incoherent words.

  "Gather round everyone" Scarlett said and all of them assembled at the centre of the living room. Scarlett held Camilla's and Sean's hands and they both understood what she was trying to do. Camilla held Jordan's and Jordan held Micheal who looked uncomfortable. Sean held his cousin and they all exchanged glances. Before they could say anything they all saw themselves in a dark room.

   "Where are we?" Jordan asked and Camilla smiled.

   "The mines" she replied.

    "Specifically where V is." Scarlett replied. They heard muffles and Sean turned on his phone torch and they saw V tied up in the corner of the room.

   Micheal ran to his sister and untied her immediately. V breathed heavily before drawing her brother in for a hug.

   "How did you get in? Where am i?" Before she could continue, they heard the old wooden door creek open.
