they know how to make hell feel like home

Panic
Alexis felt panicked, it crawled up her arms and entered her chest. Its claws dug into her heart, caging around it like the rabid beast it pounded like. She slid down the door, her legs giving out from beneath her, crumbling down just like her parents' marriage probably had, all because of her.
“Alex you need to get up fast, they need us out there. The pack members are probably in a panicked state” Josh said hurriedly to her, bending down and taking her hands in his as he spoke, a voice of reason in her muddled conscious state
“They aren't the only ones panicking Josh” she jabbed, tightening her fingers around his hand as he pulled her up with him. She couldn't be panicking like that, not when so many people were probably counting on her.
She straightened her back and shoved all of her panic down a deep dark hole from where it would probably never come back. “What plan do we have?” She asked Josh, as they exited the packhouse, shouts and pleas heard throughout the pack as they fastened their pace.
“Our plan is to kill as many of those bastard rouges as possible” Josh said as his chest heaved with anger, matching her as well as she thought about the rouges attacking their pack.
“Are we sure they are rouges?” She asked, taking in the chaos ahead of her. “I don't know, but the most possible explanation is rouges, who could be more heartless than those creatures?” Josh sneered, “Lets split up, take all people left defenceless to the pack safe house”
“What will you do while I'm doing all the work?” She scoffs and Joshua smiled a heartwarming smile, “Fighting the bad guys, what else Alex” he said and then disappeared under the moonlight, turning into his rust coloured wolf and fleeing the serenity to where the actual chaos would be.
Well now that the distractions are away, let us get to work, shall we? Her wolf said, what would have been meant to tease, sounded quite sombre due to the dull atmosphere.

"Help!" Alexis heard a plea as she knocked another wolf down. She tilted her head upwards to hear more closely to any sounds that would be near her.
After she got the direction of the sound, she charged forward. Two wolves came into her view, two wolves she had never seen in her life. And in front of those two wolves, were a few female omegas. And as Alexis walked closer to them, hiding in the shadows of the boundaries that separated her pack from others, she saw there were at least 4 more all surrounding the females.
It didn't take a genius to guess what they were going to do with them. Charging forward, Alexis knocked the first two she saw on the ground, a thud echoing in the silent but chaotic night. The other wolves sneered and she growled back.
Looking back at the girls who were looking at her in shock, she barked at them to run away. Loathing the way they stared at her dumbly. But they had some sense of preservation as they ran in opposite directions.
While trying to shift into her wolf to get the advantage, she got whacked to the ground, not being able to get back up due to the force on her. She grabbed the ankle on top of her and flipped the person who was holding her down. Making sure he couldn't stand back up as she twisted the ankle and a scream shot up from him, making her smile deviously.
When she got up, they jeered at her, "Ah, if it isn't the betas daughter. I think our work will be done sooner than expected boys"
Laughter rang up in the 4 men that were left standing. "I think you shouldn't make promises you can't keep," She said, her haughty smile still on her lips. She moved with feline grace, the four men circling like prey, yet she knew it was the other way around.
When the first two people wrecked forward, a deep distance between her and them, she bent forward, touching the ground with her forefinger. Sending a quick prayer to her patron, she muttered a spell under her breath, making the ground wobble as both the wolves coming towards her fell and hit the ground in an unconscious state, their blood making her wolf howl with need, the need to fulfil her bloodlust.
Abruptly, someone from behind her yanked her hair and kicked her stomach hard, making her lurch towards the ground, her eyes hazy and black spots marking her vision, making it hard for her to get back up. But when she regained her bearings a few seconds later she found a hard body above her, a hand running down the hard ridges of her back roughly as she tried to stand up.
"Well, I never thought we would in this situation, but can't say I'm not enjoying it" a gruff voice sounded from behind her, making her gag with revulsion and the hatred she was feeling towards the man behind her, “As soon as I'm done with you, I’m going to take you to the Alpha”
Alexis tried to kick him, but her legs were locked against his, making it hard for her to move. She cried out when she felt him slip a hand under her shirt, and that's when her control snapped, her fangs lengthening and sharpening as her wolf partially took over. She turned her head around and headbutted him in the forehead, then bit his arms, blood pouring from the gaping wound she had caused.
She got up, taking his neck in her hands as she twisted it and bent down to whisper in her ear, "Shouldn't have taken your chance with me…"
A crack echoed in the night as the head was ripped and thrown across. After Alexis limped towards the head of the wolf and kicked it for good measure, her fangs went back inside, and she winced at the sting it brought.
The night isn't over, maybe you should give me the full reigns before we encounter more of these rouges, her wolf scoffed and she relented.
The surface of her skin throbbed as it grew fur, her back bending as her bones broke, one by one. Every sound and movement heightened. The slight pain her claws brought her as they lengthened and drew blood. The shift of her legs and hands as they bent and turned into paws. With a final roar, she shifted fully and took off to find Joshua.

"Alexis?! Is that you?!" Alexis heard as she was halfway to the pack borders. She paused to look back on the Gamma's son Levi, his almond eyes shining as she looked at her dark rust coloured wolf. "Why have you shifted? They wolfbane with them, and loads of it"
Her wolf turned back immediately after hearing the one thing that could hurt her. Wolfsbane on her human side wouldn't affect much, but on her werewolf side, it could do some serious damage.
Suddenly Alexis heard Levi cough uncomfortably and she immediately wished the ground would swallow her.
Levi had just moved back from the Seju Pack and she didn't know whatt to feel of it. After all, you couldn't trust someone who you didn't grow up next to
"Here," Levi said, handing her clothes, which made her look at the load of supplies he had in his hands. "These are for the omegas that must have been hurt in the-"
He suddenly paused as both of them fell on the ground, an excruciating pain going through all the members of the Pack, leaving them breathless with a gaping space in their heart.
"W-what was that..." Alexis said breathless even though she knew what it meant. She had been taught that everything that had or would happen to her, would happen for a reason. And sadly this wasn't a good one.
"Alexis..." Levi started, his chocolate skin muddling in with the mud and dark night as tears surfaced. "I'm so sorry for your loss"
She cleared her throat and set off, leaving Levi behind her as she ran. Ran and ran and ran. That was until she reached the place. Blood everywhere.
"Josh" She whispered. Taking in the sullen state of her childhood friend as he came over and hugged her, enveloping her in his arms. For in front of her, was her father's dead body. Her wolf howled painfully, which made her sob louder. Goosebumps erecting as she saw her father's lifeless eyes looking up in the sky. A peaceful smile on his lips.
She sobbed louder. "Some of the pack member bodies were dismembered and thrown into the Forest Lake nearby. Your mother might be one of them too" He said, but there was a pained expression on his face that she couldn't bother to see. Alexis was too caught up in her grief to notice Josh's own miserable state.
Alexis slid to the ground. A chant on her lips that she couldn't fathom.
A panting Levi came behind them as Josh looked at her one last time and turned into his wolf again and dispersed.
Dead. They were dead. And it was all her fault.
