Chapter 6

"And I think that even your fans know you're everything but straight."

Xenia groaned in pleasure as Amelia pinned her body on the front door of her house. The warrior was kissing her neck, her hands squeezing her ass.

"I've missed you so much, you have no idea," she uttered, just as Amelia hummed. She was too busy running her lips all over the other vampire's neck to answer her properly.

Xenia tilted her head to give her more room to work and Amelia immediately started to pull her clothes off.

"Why don't we move this to your bed?"

But she didn't intend to get away from this door.

"No. I want to fuck you here," she replied, moving her hands up to cup Xenia's covered breasts to which she let out a soft moan.

Just as her lips started to move more southern, they both heard a knock.

Amelia's head snapped up and the vampire straightened herself. At first, they both froze but then the warrior lifted her finger up, showing Xenia to stay quiet. She just nodded and smirked. She was obviously amused by this situation.

"I can hear you breathe," a familiar voice said from the other side.

It was Damien. Amelia groaned, leaning her body over Xenia's.

"I have to open the door," she didn't bother to stay quiet anymore.

Xenia let out a soft sigh and then moved from the door. She pulled her blouse back on and adjusted her clothes a little.

Amelia waited until the other woman was ready and then opened the door.

Damien stood on her front porch with a smirk on his face.

"What do you want?" she asked. She was so annoyed with him.

He took the first step in.

"Hi, Xenia," he greeted politely, although the brunette was looking at him with bitterness. Damien didn't seem to be bothered by it. He just faced Amelia again. "Sorry to interrupt but you can have sex with her after we get back."

After hearing then, she was ready to go fight.

"Has something happened with red ones?"

Damien was weirdly calm. He would be more on edge if the red ones were in question.

"No," he answered simply.

Xenia groaned in displeasure as Amelia approached him.

"Then where are we going?" she asked.

"To get you some blood. You're too exhausted and I'm not taking chances with that. You're going to faint somewhere in the middle of the battle and getting yourself killed."

Amelia squeezed her fists.

"I'm fine, Damien," she hissed through gritted teeth.

Damien was ready to fight but Xenia was to one meddling in.

"She can take my blood," the woman offered, looking at Amelia's eyes.

Her cousin looked at her questionably, waiting for her to say something. Amelia's eyes traveled between two other people in the room and then she sighed in defeat.

"I'll be back soon, okay?" she asked Xenia. "You can stay here and wait for me if you want."

She knew Xenia was disappointed. She didn't have to vocalize it because her face said it all but she simply couldn't take her blood.

"Yeah, okay," she replied. "But before you go..."

Instead of finishing her thought, Xenia grabbed her cheeks and pulled her closer so she could connect their lips in a kiss. Amelia felt her tongue colliding with her own in soft massage. She kissed back with the same passion. God only knew how long would they stay here, kissing if Damien didn't decide to meddle in and pull Amelia away.

"Okay, that's enough. You just made me sick," he said. There was a discomfort in his voice.

Xenia released Amelia from her grip and rolled her eyes.

"You're just jealous," she said and then left for the living room.

Damien pulled Amelia out of her place and soon, they were on their way to Energy House as the blue ones liked to call a house full of vampire women who were in charge for keeping the warriors strong by offering them their blood.

"I honestly don't understand how you put up with Xenia. She's so fucking presumptuous and so full of herself," he complained.

Amelia walked right next to him.

"She's hot and that's enough for me," she replied. "She knows how to make up to me."

Damien feigned a retching sound.

"You could do so much better than her."

"Oh, stop it!" Amelia literally ordered to him. She used her boss voice. "I won't have this discussion again."

Damien just raised both of his hands in surrender and they both continued to walk.

After a couple more minutes, they were in front of a tall white building. It was modern and had huge windows over the entire front side.

Amelia could see the vampire women they called Magies walking in it. She tried to remember the last time she came here to visit them. All of these vampires were very attractive and a lot of warriors used the opportunity of taking their blood to take them as well. But she wasn't one of them. Although the main Magie who was in charge always insisted on servicing Amelia herself and never hesitated to flirt with her, Amelia never succumbed to temptation. She always stayed reasonable enough to stop herself on time, before she would do something regretful.

They entered the house and came face to face with one of the Magies who gave them a seductive smile. On the other hand, Amelia always very much appreciated their beauty.

"We wondered if we could be serviced," Damien said, making her grin even more than before.

The woman vampire approached them.

"Bot of you or just you?" she asked and got in Amelia's personal space.

She immediately took a step behind.

"Both of us," Damien stated.

Magie paid her attention to him.

"Well, I have to notify Sapphire. You know the rules," she replied. "You can wait for us in the guest room over there. I won't be long."

She smiled once again and then left upstairs, probably to get to their main Magie. Amelia and Damien went to the guest room which was actually a big living room, full of chairs and sofas.

They made themselves comfortable.

"So," Damien started. "Glad to be able to see Sapphire again?"

Amelia rolled her eyes. She knew Damien was just fooling around but nevertheless, she didn't want to discuss the mentioned woman's flirty and seductive nature. Whenever they came here to take blood, Sapphire always insisted on servicing Amelia herself and never hesitated to flirt with her. Amelia was tempted but she knew the main Magie was too good of a person for her.

"Stop!"

"What?" Damien shot back. "She's for sure so much better than Xenia. I every sense of the word."

Amelia shifted in her seat, her eyes running in the direction of the door as if she would enter the room in any moment.

"They're the same," she answered, keeping her voice low.

Damien almost jumped out of his seat.

"How can you even say that? Xenia has nothing on Sapphire. She's too good to be compared to someone like Xenia."

The other vampire started to feel annoyed.

"You're talking like Xenia killed someone or something like that," she quickly defended her current lover. Amelia maybe wasn't interested in having something more than hooking up with Xenia but she didn't feel comfortable listening to Damien calling her out like that. "She's not so bad and I'm for sure not interested in corrupting Sapphire. End of discussion."

She heard him sigh. For a long time, Damien was trying to convince her to stop seeing the other female vampire but didn't succeed. Amelia also knew she should stop giving Xenia hope but even after deciding it was enough, just one Xenia's look was enough to drag her back in. She never managed to resist her.

"Damien, Amelia," she heard a cheerful and excited voice of Sapphire as the beautiful vampire entered the room with the other Magie following her. She was smiling. "I'm always so delighted to see you."

She immediately entered Amelia's personal space and obviously didn't have any intention to step back. Just for a moment, the warrior allowed herself appreciate Sapphire's closeness and then she was the one backing off.

"Sapphire, I want to express my deepest respect and gratefulness for you and your girl's services," Amelia immediately said.

The other woman gave her a soft smile.

"I assume you're both here to feed yourself," she more stated than asked as Damien nodded his head in confirmation.

"If you would be so good to offer us your service," he replied. "Amelia is more than exhausted. If I recall correctly, she wasn't here for more than a month."

At that statement, Sapphire just looked at Amelia in disapproval. She offered her a hand and Amelia accepted.

"Damien, I hope you'll be satisfied with Ebony today," she said, already leading Amelia out of the room and to the second floor. She didn't wait for a reply.

The warrior knew where they were heading. To the main Magie's room. She took a deep breath before entering a large, spacious room. Everything was already so familiar to her. Every time she came here to take blood, she ended up here.

"Now, isn't this cozier for us?" Sapphire asked and gave her a lustful look. Amelia had to chuckle.

"You're always asking the same thing," she replied.

The Magie removed a stray hair out of her face and in the middle of the process, caressed her cheek.

So much of being subtle.

"Because I'm always hoping you're going to give in."

She was direct and clear. Amelia knew that. The temptation only became stronger. She took her hand in hers and pulled her towards herself so she could smell her sweet scent. Her lips became dry at the very thought of Sapphire's sweet nectar which was running through her veins.

Her salvation and strength.

Amelia once again absorbed the way she looked. Sapphire had light brown hair, beautiful and big blue eyes and plump lips which had always worn a smile. Her body was in perfect shape but of course, that was expected from a Magie. Today, she decided to wear a light blue dress. The piece of clothing was falling nicely over her body and reached the floor but her back was completely bare.

Amelia took a sharp breath, taking her scent in and trying to calm herself down. She couldn't give in. Right now, Xenia was at her house, waiting for her. She just had to take what she came here for and then get far away from Energy House.

"Can we start?" she asked.

Sapphire just tilted her head back a little to give her room but Amelia moved backward.

"If you don't mind, I would like to take your wrist instead of your neck," she said.

The woman smiled in amusement. Damn it, she knew what kind of influence she had on the warrior. Amelia almost wanted to curse but before she had a chance to say anything, the Magie pulled her over to the sofa.

They both sat down and then, she offered her open palm. Amelia took it and slowly lowered her head, putting a small kiss on the inner side of her wrist, before her fangs crop up. She felt her skin break under her strong intrusion. She started to suck hungrily, moaning on the taste of the so beautiful vampire's blood. It tasted like chocolate and musk, the most powerful aphrodisiacs in the world.

She simply couldn't get enough and felt like she would devour the woman in whole. At one moment, she dared to look up and almost lost it at the sight. Sapphire had her head thrown back and eyes closed as she bit on her lip in pure pleasure.

Now, Amelia wished she accepted her first offer and took the vein in her neck instead of her wrist. But there was no going back now. She allowed her tongue to lick around between sucks which enticed a moan out of Sapphire. She was squeezing the armrest so hard her knuckles became white and Amelia had to use her entire willpower not to run her hands all over her attractive body.

She was in hell. The hell she never wanted to escape from.

-

Camila was in a daze. She walked through their new home but simply didn't acknowledge anything around her. She could hear the voices of her family all around but her mind was still on that porch, watching Amelia kissing an unknown vampire woman.

The singer followed Kaley's voice in robotic moves until she didn't saw her laying down on the couch in the living room.

"This house is great," Kaley beamed. "What do you think of it?

Camila didn't answer. Kaley faced her and stopped moving around.

"Hey, you okay?" she asked, probably assuming Camila was still under Amelia's powerful spell.

"I think the newest love of your life has a girlfriend," she finally uttered.

The other girl quickly sat up.

"What are you talking about?" she asked.

Camila didn't look in her direction. Instead, her eyes were roaming all over the room.

"Amelia. I just saw her kissing some girl. They were all over each other like they haven't seen each other in a long time."

Kaley was now up and she approached Camila.

"Well, I can't say I didn't expect this to happen," she simply replied, making Camila look at her in disbelief. "Oh, C'mon, did you really expected her not to have somebody in her life? I mean, you saw her and the way she looks. She's so hot and I bet this entire complex wants to have her."

Camila's mouth was wide open.

"I can't believe this," she said with anger. "I've had to put up with your annoying ass through the whole night. The only thing I heard was "look how hot she is, I want her, blah, blah. How the hell are you so calm now?"

Kaley laughed.

"I just expressed my appreciation of beautiful women when I saw her," she replied. "But you know me better than anyone, Camila. I'm straight as a ruler and I don't think even Amelia can change that."

For a thousand time this night, Camila wanted to strangle her. But instead of killing her, she just pinched the bridge of her nose to calm herself down. Her rising temper was slowly going out of control.

"Do I even have to mention how many times you've embarrassed me by asking all those shameless questions about her? What the hell, Kaley?"

Kaley already walked towards their luggage to take her stuff.

"Oh, my God, why are you so upset?" she asked with a chuckle. "If you really want to know, I knew your lazy ass wouldn't do anything to gain some information so I've had to take things in my own hands. I asked all those questions for you."

Camila stiffened.

"What? Because of me? Why?"

Kaley turned around and faced her.

"Because I'm not the only one appreciating her good-looking," she said honestly. "And I think you could use somebody who would drag you out of this shell you put yourself in."

Camila was right next to her in mere seconds.

"Let me get this straight," she started, her voice revealing how on edge she really was. "First, Amelia is a vampire. Second, she's our guardian. Third, I'm not interested in finding anyone new and fourth, if you just try to play a matchmaker and set me up with her or anybody else for that matter, I'll kill you. Understood?"

Kaley laughed out loud, throwing her head back.

"Oh, relax," she replied. "I'm just teasing you. Although, we both know I'm right about coming out. This is way past due, Camila. And I think that even your fans know you're everything but straight."

Camila huffed.

"Stop saying that, okay? I won't talk about it again. I'm serious, Kaley."

The other woman just raised her hands in surrender, before she pulled the upset singer in her embrace.

"I know you don't want to talk about it so I won't pressure you," she uttered in a serious voice. A reasonable Kaley was back. No more teasing. "I love you, though."

Camila leaned her head over her cousin's shoulder, hugging her back.

"Thank you. Love you too."

After a couple of more seconds of hugging, they separated and Kaley pulled her towards the stairs. They climbed up on the second floor of the small house they could call their home now. Camila started to notice things around her again.

"I bet Luke-boy had already picked his room," Kaley said. Sometimes, Camila thought they had a little, overexcited puppy, not a human being. "We're next."

They both looked through every room on the second floor. There was Lucas's small room which looked more like storage than the bedroom but the boy seemed to be more than satisfied with it. Her parents settled in the one slightly bigger but they only had a bed for two, the closet and a small mirror on the wall. The next room her barged in was a bathroom.

Camila smiled, satisfied with new modern plumbing. Kaley didn't seem to be very interested in that room she pulled her hand to get out and explore further.

When they entered the next room, they immediately knew this was the ones for them. The walls were clean white but there were few pictures of different towns all over the world hanging on them. Two beds were placed opposite to each other, right up to the wall and there was a big closet. Camila was sure she and Kaley both could fit in. On the other side was also a large mirror and the desk right next to it.

The room was simple but enough for the two of them. Kaley ran forward and jumped on the bed.

Camila laughed.

"I love it. We're roomies," she squealed. "C'mon, what are you waiting for?"

God, did she love her cousin.

"I swear to God, you're such a child sometimes," she said, joining her on the bed.

Kaley started to tickle her and Camila burst in a series of a loud laughter. She felt so on ease. It passed so much time since she had a chance to feel so free. No cameras or spotlights...no Jack. No need to worry what the whole world would think about her and the way she looked like today. Inside these complex walls, there was just her. An ordinary Camila Reyes.

"Girls?" they both heard Maria call of them before her head appeared through the door. "What are you two doing?"

Camila rose for a little to have a better look at her mother.

"We're just checking out the bed. What's up?"

Maria smiled a little.

"Nothing, I'm just checking on you," she explained. "I've just come for Luke's room. He's already sound asleep. You should rest too. I'm gonna wake you up later when we start to prepare dinner. You won't believe what kinds of food I've found in our fridge."

Camila smiled at Maria's enthusiasm over food and then just nodded her head in agreement. They really needed to take some rest. The trip to here was exhausting and too long. They very much needed to keep their strength of the upcoming days.

Camila moved from the bed and took the one on left, while Kaley made herself more comfortable.

After a couple more minutes, they heard a strange sound. Like someone is dragging a metal over the asphalt and suddenly, darkness surrounded them.

"What was that?" Kaley asked with evident panic in her voice.

Camila looked around. She couldn't see anything.

"I guess something got over the windows to stop the light entering the house," she replied, relaxing a little. "We're in the vampire houses. They had to protect themselves."

"Oh."

Camila knew she was right. She asked herself if that was going to be the way they would live their life from now on? In shadows and without daylight. She instantly knew how much she would miss it.

As she was slowly drifting to sleep, she could hear distant voices of her šparents, who were probably still down in the kitchen or were just taking a nap on the living room couch. Her father was probably too nervous to sleep right now.

Soon, everything around her became a dream. There was a complete silence all around the house.

They stayed sound asleep until almost 6 p.m. That was when Maria finally waked them up. As she felt her shoulder being shaken, Camila groaned in displeasure.

"No, just a few more minutes," she grumbled.

A soft laugh was heard right beside her head.

"C'mon, sleepyhead. It's six p.m. Even Luke is already up."

At that statement, Camila's eyes shot open and she quickly straightened herself up.

A small light lamp beside her bed was turned on and now she could see everything around. Kaley was up, sitting at the edge of her bed and rubbing her eyes.

"Six p.m.?" she asked out loud. "Why haven't you woke us up before?"

Maria just gave her a soft smile.

"You needed to rest for a while," she replied. "It was a long trip to here. Do you feel okay?"

Camila also rubbed her still tired eyes for a little before getting up from the bed and taking clean clothes from her suitcase which was still standing next to the door, unpacked.

"Yeah, but now I won't be able to sleep later," she replied. "I need a shower though."

She heard Kaley yawning behind her.

"Hurry up," her cousin uttered. "I need one too and I want to get over with it before dinner."

Maria took the liberty of getting their clothes from suitcases and folding it for them.

"Your dad and I read a guide they left for us a little," she informed them.

Camila stopped and faced her mother again.

"And what does it say?" she asked, feeling genuinely curious.

"A lot of useful things actually," Marina replied. "According to the guide, there's a lot of entertainment places you guys could go. They have a nightclub, a coffee shop, gym, open space gym, which is, if I remember correctly, in the park. I suppose they need so much training place because of their job as warriors. There's also a lunch hall like in schools so we don't have to cook at our houses. Humans are also free to use it."

Camila rubbed the back of her head.

"So, are we going to eat there then?" she asked in hopes her mother would say no. She needed a few hours away from any kind of blue eyes to clear her head.

"Not really," Maria said like she could hear her thoughts. "We thought it's better to stay in today. We want Luke to adjust to this situation slowly."

"Oh, I assure you that Luke-boy has no trouble around blue eyes. He was sound asleep for quite a long time on Amelia's lap," Kaley informed them and Camila instantly gave her a warning look. "Cami, do you want to check around for a little before the dinner?"

Maria stopped folding their clothes and looked at them.

"Dinner won't be done for a while so you can go see what they have to offer, but please, be careful, yeah? We don't need anyone hurting you on your first day here."

Camila nodded her head in agreement with Kaley's suggestion. It could be useful to see their surroundings for a little. She quickly entered the shower and could hear Kaley talking with her mother.

They both needed a half an hour to get ready. Camila dressed in dark grey ripped jeans and white blouse. She took a sweater just in case. Although they were strongly entering the springtime of the year, the nights were still cold.

Soon, she and Kaley gout out of their house and Camila looked up in the sky. Sunlight was losing its power and she had no doubt the place would be full of vampires. She instantly looked at the house next to their place. It was in dark. She wondered if Amelia was inside, together with that other girl she was kissing before?

"Where to?" Kaley asked and snapped her out of her thoughts about Amelia.

"I don't know? Maybe to find this park?"

The other girl quickly pulled her hand and they started following the asphalted path. Just as they were passing Amelia's place, the door opened and blue warrior's leader came out, along with Damien.

Camila heard her groan in displeasure and then she put big black sunglasses over her eyes. Damien already had them on.

"Hey," he called them. "Kaley, wait."

Kaley instantly turned towards the direction of the voice and Camila could swear she saw a small smile creeping its way on her face as soon as she noticed Damien running towards them.

"Hey, guys," the vampire greeted them. "Going out to explore?"

Kaley started a conversation with him and Camila now had an opportunity to look at him well. She could see how similar his features were to Amelia. and It was so obvious they were cousins. Soon, she heard other heavy steps.

Amelia approached them, looking irritated.

"Wait for me, will ya?" she said to Damien.

"Hey, Amelia," Kaley greeted her warmly, while Camila just gave her a nod. She couldn't open her mouth because she felt embarrassed, due to what she had witnessed before. The picture inside her head was still vivid.

"Hey," Amelia was short. Camila was sure she didn't want to talk to them.

"What are you guys doing out?" Kaley asked. "I mean, it's still early and the sun didn't set completely yet."

Damien smiled.

"Oh, we can come out as soon as the time of dusk starts. But we have to cover our eyes since they are the most sensitive part of our bodies. Amelia here has big problems with her eyes. They are extra sensitive, even though these dark sunglasses."

Now Camila understood her previous groan.

As soon as Damien started to talk about her, she elbowed him in the ribs, gaining his attention.

"Damien, we have to go, remember?"

"Wait," he said. "We're on our way to the main building because we have a meeting with my father, but if you need any help with looking around this place, we could guide you."

Camila once again heard Amelia groan. She really didn't like to talk.

"We'd love to join you," Kaley replied enthusiastically.

Great. Another one of unpleasant and uncomfortable moments in blue vampire's company. Camila wanted to get her shit together but she was still mute.

Damien and Kaley were already ahead of them, while they stood there frozen.

"Oh, and I'm sorry for her," Damien said, pointing at the other vampire. "She's grumpy because I literally dragged her out of the bed. She didn't want to leave her dear lover alone."

Author's note:

Hello, guys. I hope everyone is having a good Sunday evening. The new chapter is up and I sincerely hope you liked it (if you do, please vote or leave a comment). Camila's and Amelia's lives are starting to interfere more and more.

Besides updating, I have something else I want to announce. Due to my work obligations, I will have to take two weeks of break from updating my story and Wattpad in general. Sadly, my company has some human resources problem and a big ass project intended for 10 people is now solely on me. It's a huge amount of work and I simply won't have enough time to write a good and full chapter. The last thing I want to do is to write a sloppy chapter and to be irregular with my updates. No matter what, I hope I'll manage to find enough time to at least read stories I'm currently reading. Thanks in advance for understanding.

Next update is planned on Sunday, December 2nd.

Thanks to everyone again, stay true to yourself and have a nice day (or evening). See ya soon.
