"Good evening, my king and queen."

Cerebia and Poseidon both nodded in greeting. "We have come to adopt a child. Joe needs a new sibling, and since the 'Incedent'..."

The man nodded in understanding. "Ah, Yes, I fully understand. Now, what age group are you looking for?"

As Cerebia thought about this, she realised it would have to be a newborn. Mainly so Joe didn't know they were not his true sibling, but so the child they would adopt would be too young to remember this.

"Do you have any newborns? Aged under 1?" Again, the lady nodded. "We have a lot of them, and all of them are cuties!"

As she lead them both through, Poseidon and Cerebia could both see all the teenagers talking between themselves. The younger ones playing, a lot of them seeming between 1 and 12.

The lady pushed open a door, and there was a big room of newborns in cribs, 11 on each side, and one at the end of the hallway directly in front.

They both looked over all of them until they came to the one at the end. In it sat a tiny penguin, by far the smallest out of those they had seen.

"Oh, his names Cody Maverick. He was left here with a note with his name on it, and telling us to give him the life he deserves. He's the youngest here, actually. All the other babies are about 6 months by now, but little Cody here is only 2 months."

As Cody's brown eyes fluttered open and a toothless grin spread across his face, Poseidon cleared his throat.

"He's definitely the one we'd like to adopt."

Cerebia carried Cody in his basket, while Poseidon held open doors for his lady, a true gentleman. They expected the newspaper to eat up this news. Which it did, to no surprise. They were stopped about 6 times in all to answer questions.

By some saving grace, they finally got back home. ( FunFact: 'saving autocorrected to Savi, Which is a nickname Christgladiator gave me XD )

"Mommy! Daddy!" The little chicken ran in, soon followed after by Rasmus, who looked worse for wear. As Poseidon held in a chuckle at his troubles, Joe finally noticed the basket in Cerebia's hands. "What that?" He asked, pointing to it.

"That's your new brother, Joey. Say hello to Cody!" She put the basket down and moved the blanket slightly, giving Joe a good look at his brother, who was in the middle of a nap.

"Hello, bro!"
