As she awoke, her vision was flooded with light. Cerebia blinked uncertainly before adjusting her sight. She took in her surroundings. An IV drip in her arm told her all she needed to know, she was at the hospital.

"Thank God your okay..." a relieved voice croaked. Cerebia turned her head slightly, and saw her husband, Poseidon, sitting there. "You've been asleep for ages..."

"What happened to me?"

"Someone from Pikalus's lab drove a vehicle into you... crazy man, he was arrested on sight! I'm just glad your okay now."

Cerebia recalled the incident, and cringed remembering how they had gone on a walk.

Guess life had other plans...

Before she could speak a single word, a nurse entered, her brown curls bouncing as she walked. "You should be fine, Cerebia. Although there is one side affect..."

"And that is?" Cerebia and Poseidon glanced at eachother fearfully.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. You will never have another child."

"We promised Joe a new brother or sister, what do we do?" Poseidon glances at Joe, the one year old was playing, unaware of the situation.

"There's always adoption..." Cerebia places a hand on Poseidon's shoulder. "They may not be our bloodline then, but family isn't just blood, darling."

The king glanced back at his song again, before looking at Cerebia, her eyes capturing him in a trance. "Your right..."

"We'll find Joe a sibling, one way or another."
