There are so many twisted fairytales out there. Like the ones about how the Big Bad Wolf adopted a new little red and treated her as his own daughter, or perhaps the one where a group of children had to defend themselves against a dark entity. But this...this tale is twisted like no other.

Family is a group of people youre supposed to trust. A best friend is someone you are supposed to be able to rely on, evem in the darkest hours. But what happens when that trust snaps? Or maybe thar reliability burns up in smoke. Where does that leave you? Or this case where did that leave the twins?

ONCE UPON A TIME,
In a land not like our own, a beautiful young maiden stood behind a tree, her heart racing. Her name, was Lilac, and Lilac was madly in love. There was a young man, thiugh he came from purely nothing but dust and rocks-he was sweet and very handsome. His name, was Halo.

Everyone knew that the reason Halo, hadn't been married yet was because no woman wanted to be with a man who couldn't shower her in jewels. But Lilac wanted to be with Halo, ever so badly. Taking a heavy deep breath, Lilac moves from around the tree and clutches her letter in her hands approaching Halo. She taps his shoulder when she came up behind him. He turns a little, and lifts a brow, smiling down at her.

"Lilac, hello." He exclaims. Hearing him simply state her name, made her face flush brightly, being within two feet of the man made Lilac want to pass out. She stammers silently for a moment before lifting the letter.

"H-Hi Halo...um..." she stammers and looks at the letter. She gasps seeing that the once beautifully smooth, cream colored envelope had been crinkled in her tight grip. "Oh goodness no..." she whimpers. Halo frowns a little at her panic and then lets out a low chuckle, gently taking her hand.

"Calm down Lilac, you're okay. Lets walk." He says softly. "So you're the one who invited me here today, yes?" Beginning to stroll ahead. Lilac breathed a deep breath before stumbling after him.

"Oh yes, it was me." She insists. "I know we don't know each other very well Halo, but I am pretty fond of you." She rambles to him. Halo's green eyes examine the young woman's face, a smile crawling onto his lips. "And I don't want to rush anything so would it be alright by you, if maybe you and I could...I dont know...hang out? At some point?"

Halo smiles gently at her and stops taking her hand, lifting it to his lips and gently placing a kiss to her knuckles.

"I would love that. Though, Im sorry in advance for my poor clothing." He laughs running a hand through his copper brown hair. Lilac's eyes lit up and she felt her head grow light.

"Nonono! Its alright Halo!" She insists. And from that day, a romwnce blossomed between the two. Lilac and Halo got married after three years of being together, and a year afterwards, Lilac was pregnant, with twins to be more exact.

Now, since the couple came from nothimg really but Lilac's teacher income and Halo's many jobs, it was seemingly impossible to find a hospital which who would take Lilac once she went into labour. After almost an hour of painful contractions, Halo, luckily found a sweet nurse who lived nearby.

The twins were born three hours after. Twin baby girls, one wrapped in a rose red sweater and the other in a large heavenly blue scarf. The baby girl in the red was named Cassidy Rose Lewis and the other in blue, Colleen Skye Lewis. Lilac and Halo cherished their baby girls birthed lives. However, tragedy struck when Lilac grew suddenly ill after the birth of the twins.

Halo sat next to his beautiful wife and held her hand until she fell asleep for good. Halo stared at her for minutes after she passed before her broke down crying, pressing her lifeless hand to his brow, whispering-

"My angel...my beautiful flower..." he cried. Halo never did remarry after the death of Lilac but instead raised his daughters with the love and tenderness his wife would have.

Colleen Skye grew up to be one of the most beautiful maidens in the area, while Cassidy(now going by Crane), was just a beautiful. However, Colleen was a very typical feministic where as Crane was always found racing with the boys. Everytime Crane would have a friend over, he would flock to Colleen, and truthfully it begun to get old.

Crane gave up on trying to make more friends with her same interest and decided to attempt at following her twins foot steps. Though, if there was one thing that 15 year old Crane hated most, it was the feeling of makeup on her face. She forced her hatred and annoyance aside when Colleen insisted that it would make her 'stand out more'.

Halo, was very disapproving. He didn't like the fact that Crane felt she had to change to gain attention of others.

"Cassidy, honey, listen to me." Halo sighs, placing a hand on his daughters shoulder. "You don't have to force yourself to do these things to gain others attention."

"Colleen says that it'll help..." Crane says quietly. "She told me that she is trying to do what she believes is best for me." Halo grew uncomfortable with that feeling. He watched his daughters turn 16 and relievingly watched Crane grow back into her old self again. Infact, a boy took notice of her without any of the extra that Colleen had forced on her.

His name, was Ezio, but he preferred to go by Wolf. Crane and Wolf got along surprisingly well, and Crane had fallen smitten for the boy. Wolf, like Halo, was the best looking for his age-17 years old and he was absolutely stunning! Bright blue eyes, lightly chocolate colored skin, dark hair-Crane was was all for it.

Until one day...Colleen met him.

Crane had believed that Colleen truly cared about her, that she truly loved her. But when Colleen later confessed to Wolf her feelings, she also told Crane that she was selfish if she thought she could keep Wolf away. Wolf noticed Crane's hurt but Colleen forced him to turn a blind eye.

That day, Crane wandered into the woods and never returned home again.

Yes I know its a bit all over the place but more details will be added later on. This is just a basic summary of the story!
