I sprinted in his direction, still able to see his outline in the trees. As I get closer and closer I see him trip over a root in the ground. I jogged the rest of the way able to see that a branch impaled his leg making him immobilized.
Watching him struggle to get away still made me feel bad for what I was gonna do. I walk up to the side of him and take my knife right to his head,stabbing him in his ear.
Everything was done, everyone that knew or where going to are now dead. I can head back to my hide out now. I pause for a moment, mindlessly walking father into the forest, thinking back to what I've just done. Everything just registered, the guilt, the kids I just killed. My nephew, they're all dead because of me. I started to feel bloodguilt crawling up my throat. I walk into a clearing and sit down for a moment in the middle. Three young souls have just left this earth all in the span of forty hours, at the hands of me. Tears started to fall without me releasing it.
   After ten minutes or so of sitting I stood up and wiped my tears away. I walk around to find a sturdy tall tree. I look up at the trees and find one that seems good enough. I start to climb until I'm far enough from the ground. I grab the rope from my hip and tie it tightly around a branch. On the other end of the rope I tie a noose and place it around my neck. I sit down on the branch and start to lower myself until there is no rope, I let go and allow myself to dangle there fighting for my last breath. As my last breath is exhaled and blown away into the air, my bloodguilt, my sorrows and my soul fly away with it and with that I'm at peace for once and for all .
