Clayton Hellborne is a notorious vigilante vampire hunter - sworn to protect humanity from evil.

However, he never expected his true love to become the one thing that he was trained to kill.

Madeline Havelock is Clayton's fiancee. And when she's bitten by a vampire, their life becomes shrouded with unprecedented darkness.

Clayton couldn't get to Madeline in time, and before he could intervene, her blood had already been tainted by the toxic venom. As the infection spreads through her body, Clayton is faced with a difficult choice... kill her or let her turn into a vampire.

The law strictly enforces that any and all newborn vampires be killed on sight, for they must be stopped before they wreak havoc on mankind.

There is no chance of Clayton disrupting the turn... Madeline will become a vampire. However, he just can't bring himself to do what needs to be done.

Now, he must protect the very thing that he was sworn to destroy.
