Yuu and Shiro were doing their best on their own as individuals, both are determined to kill vampires with both of there hands.

Though their circumstances and statues quo weren't the same as the other, but still they were working hard as they can.

Yuu learned to defeat a demon the other day when Shinoa lead him an Yoichi to the forbidden chamber to save their classmate, Yuji.

Shiro became stronger each day as her attack patterns grew more unique and hard to get by the foe, right now, she's half as strong as the LTC, but surely she wouldn't give up just yet.

Speaking of Shiro, she was at her apartment, taking a rest after the training that she just undergo, fatigue and lack of sleep filled her as she was overexerting herself.

"I see...I and Guren-san's team will be doing a vampire hunting later, I should get ready for that." she said while reading the roll of paper filled with instructions.

She was attempting to hit the bathroom when someone came to her door and knocked, walked straight to the door and saw one of her friends.

"Hey Shiro, you free?"

"Why did you ask, Akaru-kun?"

"Well...I just thought if you would like to hang out? You know, just the two of us?"

"Sure, I would love too!"

"Then, we'll set course later."

"Yeah, see you later."

She closed the door of her apartment as the footsteps of Akaru disappeared completely.

He is Takahashi Akaru, he has red hair and possess gold eyes, he is Shiro's best friend from the army, but he isn't her teammate, that's because she is on Guren-san's squad.

"Maybe hanging out with a friend wouldn't be so bad, huh?" she mumbled as she grin to herself while she started changing her clothes.

The two were having a normal chat while they walked together somewhere where god-only-knows.

"Hey Akaru-kun, why did you asked me out today? Not that I'm not grateful, but don't you have some business to attend?"

"I wouldn't ask you if I had business y'know...anyways, didn't you miss me? I mean—I'm out on a vampire hunting for three days."

"Of course I really missed you, your my best friend after all!"

"I-Is that so...? Alright."

It was always like this, Akaru was the person who threw seductive attics at Shiro but she unconsciously threw it back at him, making him flustered.

Caught on your own trap? How foolish...even if she didn't mean it, he was always flustered in how straight forward and innocent she is.

"Hey Akaru, listen to this! I met with one of my family members the other day, he was still the same."

"Oh, you mean that Yuuichirou guy your talking about? That's great."

"I was really glad he was able to made friends of his own, you see he's really shy around strangers."

"That must be troublesome, acting like his older sister...say, wanna spar for awhile? I'm getting bored since Guren hasn't gave me a job yet."

"Oh, sure...but I'm not going to lose, not to you, or anyone."

"You took the words out my mouth."

They started match as Akaru grabbed his sword as he slashed it towards Shiro who dodged it, they've continued to fight each other as Shiro began to kick him while he dodged it.

"Damn it! Why can't I be unable to see your panties?!"

"Your perverted, Akaru-kun!"

They continued sparring as they didn't give grounds to each other, Shiro thrusted her fist at him as he shielded himself with his blade.

"Not bad, when did you got this strong, Shiro?"

"During the three days when you're gone to annihilate vampires!"

"What? Your telling me that your getting better when I'm gone?"

"N-No, of course not! Your rea—"

He tripped her ankle as her back touched the ground, she was going to stand back up when she felt something cold touched her skin.

"Don't move." she freeze from his tone, despite his perverted attitude, he's another person when wielding a blade in his hand.

"You've let your guard down, Shiro. If I were a vampire, I would suck your blood right now...be wary at all times."

"Y-Yes...I'm sorry, I'll try harder."

"Now that I'm close to your face, you actually have pretty eyes...how come I couldn't notice these eyes of yours."

His blade turned back into a small metal key as he tuck it down on his pocket as he continued staring at her.

"Akaru-kun? D-Do you mind if you move? I-It's getting kind off—"

"Awkward?"

"Y-Yeah."

He smirked as he get off her and sat on the grass while he trailed his fingers through his hair, Shiro sat up beside him then silence filled them.

"Hey Shiro, are you an artist?"

"No, why?"

"I'm surprised because you are my masterpiece."

Shiro laughed at his pick up lines, she lightly slapped his back while giggling.

"Your really corny you know?"

"What the heck? I did a lot of thinking of that line, don't laugh!"

"Sorry, but I have to."

They began to walk aimlessly while talking about random topics and laughed at each other, a rainbow appeared on the sky as they looked up and smiled.

"I think this must be the end of the rainbow,"

"Why?"

"Because I already found you."

She laughed as she continued to leap ahead of him, she didn't take serious about his actions even though he gave her lots of clues...how dense.

"Let's go back Akaru-kun, I still have to do some vampire hunting later."

"Huh? Do that later, let's stay like this for awhile!"

"Nope, not gonna happen~"

The two of them knew each other since they were kids, after Shiro escaped the vampire city with Yuu. She was introduced to him by the LTC personally as he said that they should be friends.

But it wasn't that hard, in fact, it was easy to be friends with an outgoing Shiro, the young boy was bewildered by her since they were kids.
