"How's Tokyo? It's been a while since you came here, right?" i turned my head as i saw Ferid talking to me.

"Weren't you moved when you came here? Furthermore, there is a chance that you can meet Yuu and Shiro in this drastic place." he added as i bit my lower lip while staring at the humans whose blood is being sipped by my fellow vampires.

"Aren't you going to drink blood? If i were you, i would drink it when we're out on war since you can't drink directly from a human in our city."

"You broke the law and drank my blood, Ferid Bathory."

"Don't say that, you'll hurt my reputation, Mika-kun... aren't you the one who asked me to drink your blood? Then you even stole the map and the gun from my mansion."

"Thanks to you, my family was killed for your pastime."

"Aw, you're still upset about that when your a vampire now?"

We stared at each other's eyes for awhile, there was a moment of silence before i speak once again.

"No, I'm only upset that I couldn't protect my own family." i huffed as i went down from my seat.

"And then? Are you going to protect your last two family members, Hyakuya Yuu and Hyakuya Shiro?"

He began to laugh as i lifted my heel and started walking away, pissed.

"Oh, you do need to drink a human's blood. You know what happens to a vampire who don't get enough blood."

He reminded me once again, i ignored him while i walked through the place that many human beings have fallen, their bloods coloured the pavements, i bit my lower lip to control my urge to drink a drip of blood.

'I-I'm not going to drink any blood, not before I meet those two...'

"But... how long will I be able to pass by without drinking blood?"

I shook my head and continued walking through the pavements.

"Drink their blood and your cells will stop moving, Mika. Afterwards, you'll become a vampire."

"I-I don't plan on becoming a vampire!"

"You say that, but your body is craving for it, no?"

The person who's talking to me is the vampire queen, Krul Tepes, she stood up from her throne and walked up to me.

"Your whole body must be in pain, you must be really, really thirsty."

She told me to drink the boy's blood whose at the same age as me, but in the end I still refused.

"Then I'll give you another option, drink my blood and survive."

She said as she cut her wrist, the blood poured down in the glass of wine, then she handed me the glass of her own blood.

"Don't fight it, drink it."

I slapped her hand as she dropped the glass of blood, the shattered glass clattered on the floor while it was painted with the colour of red.

"I'm not becoming one of you!"

She didn't spoke as i began to pant harder, then without another word, she stood up as i saw her blood dripped on the red carpet.

I grabbed her arm as I saw her surprised expression while my fangs pierced her skin, the tingly feeling entered my tongue as tears escaped my eyes.

"Now that you drunk my blood, you won't be able to leave me..."

She sat down on the stairs while I was sipping her blood, she patted my head while smiling.

"Forever and ever, you're my dog now, Hyakuya Mikaela..."

I know that I'm not a human anymore, but... humans are very dangerous, in at least ten days, I'll find Shiro-chan and Yuu-chan, take then away from here and go somewhere far away.

"A-Aren't we... there yet?" i heard Shiro whimpered rather weakly.

I turned my head to the driver, "um... how much longer till we reach it?"

He opened the covers and turned to us while he was driving, "we'll be at the defence line in 15 minutes, please be prepared." he said.

He closed it afterwards as i turned to the person who was leaning on my shoulder, it was Shiro, her face was really pale.

"Just 15 minutes till were there, hang in there, Shiro."

"15 minutes...in hell?"

"Take a nap for awhile." i said as she nodded while closing her eyes, then i started patting her white hair.

"Oh~ you really care for Shiro-chan, Yuu-san... do you like her?" i turned my head to Shinoa who was snickering.

I rolled my eyes, "oh shut up."

"Shiro-san is really bad at riding vehicles, it must be tough." Yoichi said as i nodded.

"Hey Yuu, doesn't she had any medicines in her motion sickness?" i shook my head in reply at Kimizuki's question.

"She drunk an capsule but it doesn't work as expected." i explained as i rub my fingers through her hair.

We sat in complete silence as we used our time to rest for awhile, "can i say something, Yuu-san?"

"What is it?" i asked as i lifted my head to face Shinoa who spoke.

"We'll have you guys start your very first training~!"

"What are you saying in a cruel time like this?"

"I'm saying this because it's in a time like this—when we encountered with a vampire noble, you guys realised that even if you have the Black Demon Series, you'll be killed."

"What are you trying to say...?"

"To be blunt, it's this." she showed us a pill making us confused.

"If you take one if these, you'll be able to take out your true power... you won't be able to get killed easily."

She handed us each pill, we began to ask questions about the pill and every time we do that, she always answered us back.

"Is this what you meant by the real way to use the Cursed Gear?"

"This is only temporary, you'll need to study and train to master—"

Shinoa was cut off as the car crashed on the ground making everyone fall on the pavements outside of the pouring rain, they began to dodged the bullets coming from the chopper.

"Corporal!" Yuu yelled as he ran up to help the man who was stuck in the car, Shinoa ran up to help him.

Then the bullets hit the road as it almost reached the Yuu and Shinoa, "Kimizuki, we're going in!" Mitsuba yelled as he nodded, those two were about to jump in to save them when...

The sound of ripped flesh and fabric pierced the air as a pair of emerald eyes widened as her blood touched his cheek, his lips parted as he still couldn't believe what he just saw.

In front of him, stood an albino haired girl who's back facing him, arms on the air as she was protecting them from the stray bullets.

"Shiro... why...?" Yuu was still in the state of shock, his pulse pace lowered a bit as he stared at her bloody uniform that was tarnished.

Everyone was still in shock, but what shocked them the most was... her body was regenerating back to it's form.

The lead bullets fell on the floor as her wounds closed, her clothes was still tarnished but she didn't head attention as she turned to the chopper.

"Everything will be alright, rest assured everyone." she said as she began to ran, then she used her leg to jump and kicked the plane as it landed and blasted on the pavements.

She safely landed on the floor, then the ground crumbled as Yuu and Shinoa fell on the cliff with the Corporal in their arms.
