Skylar Rose Newgate was sleeping peacefully in her comfy soft, feather pillowed bed, when all of the sudden, she was jumped upon by her brother, Luffy.
"Sky! Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" He shouted, jumping up and down on her bed. Skylar screamed.

"Okay! Luffy, I'm up," She shouted. Luffy then stopped, and sat down on the bed, grinning.

Skylar sighed and sat up, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes and stretching. She looked at her brother. "Now, what is it that's got you all excited?" She asked. Luffy laughed.

"There's two other gangs that want to form an alliance with us! Isn't that great!" He shouted. Her eyes widened and she shook her head.

"Wait, wait, wait. What?" She asked, not fully getting the grasp of what had just happened. Luffy looked at her with a face of confusion.

"I just told you what." He said. She sighed. Sometimes her brother could be the densest person she knew.

"Haven't you talked to the others about this? What's their opinion on it? Do you even know who these 'other gangs' are?" She asked.

"No, I don't know and I don't know." Luffy stated with a straight face.
Skylar looked at him, shocked.

"Lu, you agreed to an alliance, not even knowing if the other gang is dangerous or not and not even bothering to ask your friends let alone your sister?!" She shouted. Luffy nodded.

"Yeah. Is there something wrong with that? I thought everyone would be fine with it." He said. Skylar sighed. She knew it was pointless to argue any further with her brother. Once he set his heart on something, you could never convince him otherwise. Skylar rubbed her forehead in exasperation.

"Fine. Let me get dressed." She said, stretching again and groaning when her back popped. Luffy cheered.

"Woho! Oh, and make sure to bring your longboard and your boombox. I want to let the whole neighborhood know that Luffy Newgate is up and going!" He said. Skylar sighed and chuckled. Even when he drove her crazy, Skylar still loved her brother. She decided to FaceTime her friends and let them know about their leader's decided alliance. She opened her phone,

She smiled at the picture her friends had sent her.

Skylar had been going through a rough stage in life, so, to cheer her up, they sent her a picture. She set the picture as her wallpaper so that whenever she felt alone, she would always look at the picture and know that she wasn't actually alone. She opened the FaceTime app and clicked on the group FaceTime. She had just finished getting dressed,

and styling her hair.

She was working on doing her makeup

when her friends answered. She smiled at them as she applied her eyeshadow.
"Hey guys!" She said. She received a series of "Hey"'s, "Hello"'s and "Sup"'s back. Nami noticed that Skylar looked a little worried and frowned.

"Sky, you look a little worried. Is everything okay?" She asked. Skylar sighed and finished her makeup.

"To be honest, I'm not so sure." She said. Sanji had just finished lighting a cigar and frowned.

"What did your stupid brother do this time?" He asked. Skylar glared at the woman obsessed teenager.

"Hey, watch it. He's not stupid, he's just a little airheaded," She said. Nami laughed at her friend's use of words to describe her brother. "Anyway, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up to go to the Sunny. Bring your longboards as well, or bikes. Luffy has made an alliance with two gangs." She said. A serious look dawned their faces. Franky frowned.

"Should I bring my old man, Zoro as well?" He asked. Since he had no home, Franky was living with Jinbei, another well known gang leader. Jinbei was now Franky's legal guardian and he had no trouble calling Jinbei dad or pops. //I told you it was cringy!! 😭😭😭//

Yes, Jinbei was a Fish-man, but Fishmen weren't uncommon where the friends lived. Zoro lived with his adopted father, Mihawk, and his adopted sister, Perona. Skylar shook her head.
"I don't think that will be necessary. I doubt Lu would make an alliance with someone so dangerous that Jinbei and Mihawk had to come. Besides, he knows about my fear of men." She frowned, looking off into space. Her friends frowned. She had told them all the story of how Edward had come to adopt her.
