his eyes looked determined to keep me safe,
he was so cautious of everything, to make sure i dont get even more hurt.
i see a glimpse of his perfect teeth..

he was angry...
was he angry at me...
i closed my eyes, letting the tears that i tried to keep to myself, spill out.

my thoughts cleared when ally ruffled my hair and spoke quietly
"Vee...dont cry, you stupid...you're going to be okay..."

my eyes closed gently.
taking in sempais scent... my breath trembled as i whimper quietly.

"im going to make sure that you're going to be okay, i promise you."
Romans calming voice filled me with an unspeakable emotion.
my eyes open slightly my sight being less blurry.
as he looks at me with a beautiful look in his eyes.
his smooth pink lips curl into a smile parting, his breath hitting my skin.

i shiver,
Romans grip around me tightened.
mostly around my left thigh, where a bruise had been left.
though holding in the "pain" his grip had been too tight.
"ngh~"
his worried expression plastered on his face turned sympathetic as he stopped when reaching the door to the nurses office,
"s-sorry... are you alright?"
his cheeks tinted pink when seeing me,
i didn't know what he saw, but i felt warm, and... tingley...
as my cheeks were heating up by the second.
and the spot on my thigh where he gripped, felt like shocks running through my veins.

ally opened the door to the nurses office letting roman go inside and set me on one of the beds to rest

"hello, what can i-"
the nurse looked up shocked at my state. the nurse knew of me, and looked sympathetic.
"Ally.. what happened to virgil..?"
the nurse spoke quiet to not disrupt me

ally spoke calmly
"i think he was having one of his breakdowns, catching attention of someone. they hurt him to the point of him not being able to walk properly."

the nurse nodded
"do you know what parts of his body were injured...?"

"all i know is all the parts that arent covered by clothing, like his jaw, arms, and legs."
ally explained as the nurse took note of where to check
the nurse stood up and walked over to where i was resting, i opened my eyes to see her over my bed
"hello vee, dont worry its just me.
im going to help you with your pains, okay?"
the nurse helped me sit up, hand roughly on a bruise.
"n-ngh..."
i breathe, uncomfortable

"there may be some bruises on his back,
i might have lift his shirt up but if he isn't alright with you guys in the room, you guys might need to wait outside,"

roman was about to object before ally reassured him,
"thats fine."
she said blankly.

the nurse quietly spoke
"virgil are you alright with them in here or would you like for them to leave the room..?"

virgil gulped, though anxious about the situation he knew that roman may want to stay to... maybe help him..
"its fine... they can stay"

"alright"
the nurse said before turning him around to lift up his shirt,

after a second his back was exposed, hit by semi cold air immediately.

the room grew quiet
"there are 3 big bruises and a small cut, roman can you pass me an ice pack from my freezer?"
roman reached into the small freezer, taking out a sizeable ice pack, passing it to the nurse

she placed it on the bruises, making a hiss escape my lips,
she used the medical tape she had to strap it in place.
to then stand up to grab a piece of cloth and run it under water,

while placing it on the rip on my skin she put a disinfectant spray on along with it.

repeating the same process over and over to all my wounds.
until she finally finished, giving me pain killers to ease the pain.

roman walked over to me running his hands through my hair,
"are you okay vee?" he spoke as i nodded reassuringly.

the nurse wrote a pass,
"okay you guys, i think its time for you to go to class while virgil rests for a bit.
it seems he's a little bit... under the weather."

roman objects
"may i please stay with him so he doesn't feel uncomfortable and alone in here? im good in all my classes so missing one wont affect my grade."

the nurse nodded
"how about you ally, do you want to stay aswell?"

ally smirked as she took the pass,
"no thank you, miss. i think im failing in my next class."

"very well then"
the nurse said oblivious to what this is doing to me,
she arises from her seat, walking over to the door,
"i need to retrieve some papers from other teachers, ill be back in a bit.
don't do anything dumb before i get back."
she jokingly claimed,
roman chuckled while helping me lay down, aware of the placements of the bruises.
"maybe getting some sleep might help you, ill wake you when its time for next class."

i tried closing my eyes letting the tiredness feeling of body my take control but, no avail.

"i-i.. c-can't sleep..."
i stutter expecting an angry reaction come out of him, frightened i overthink again, thoughts flooding making tears threaten to release down my cheeks.
shutting my eyes expecting the worse.

i feel i warm set of hands move me over a little, making space for another person.
carefully setting himself beside me, he looks into my eyes
"sorry if this is uncomfortable"
he says while closing his eyes

"n-no its alright"
i say, basically whispering

his amazing hands run through my hair, having sleep take over my body,
as everything fades to black.

the last thing i hear is his calm soft breaths before i hear nothing and see nothing.

i am nothing without him.
