as he gasped for air before being consumed under the black ink,
thoughts rushed through his mind before the ink drowned his lungs.
expecting for it to sting, he felt nothing.
and thats what he didn't want.

as the clock ticked vee sprung up rather unfazed based on how traumatic he'd hope the dream would be, hed hope it'd traumatize him but-
again nothing.
he read the alarm beside him,

taking a second to realize his situation.

'Im gonna be late!' he thought to himself while getting up quickly, he took off his shorts and t-shirt,
quickly putting on socks and the uniform needed for identification that he went there. going into the bathroom clumsily grabbing his toothbrush, adding the paste to it,
slipping on his shoes and bag while brushing.

his mother called him into the kitchen before he went out, passing him the toast that she had prepared for him as a small breakfast so he wouldn't get a headache.

thoughts ran threw his mind as he struggled to hold  the side satchel on his side so nothing would fall out.
focusing on simple things and not realising until he hit a sharp corner.

as he ran into the other boy, a startled gasp came from his lips

hitting his ass on the concrete, a scared and apologetic expression came on his face, while still trying to be a bit intimidating so the stranger would possibly leave him alone.

"i-i.... im sorry"
but intimidation didn't work as he couldn't control what he was used to, fumbling on his words as he doesn't want to get hurt by another.
"please dont... hurt...me im sorry i didn't mean to okay!
he mumbled. scared to have his friend notice his injuries later,

"hurt you?"
the guy in front of his said confused
he held his hand out to help vee at his paranoid state
"here take my hand, let me help you up"

he picked vee up from his fall.
virgil stunned at the nice gesture
"t-thank you.. uh"
vee said confused, trying to get the name of the boy in front of him

"Roman."
he said cheerfully, happy to introduce himself to a new person.

"Roman... thank you..i guess.."
virgil paused, looking down at his hands rubbing his thumb to calm the blush on his face.
Roman spoke startling virgil

"and you?"
his beautiful smile grew a bit more. making virgil blush harder

"Virgil,,, i uh- you can call me vee if you'd like..."
he gazed in his eyes noticing the sparkles that scattered so freely

"are you hurt in any way vee?"
"m-no... not that much at least.. how about you?"

"im fine honestly, but i do believe that school will start soon,
dont want to gates to close on us so cmon vee.."

he kept quiet for a moment.
speed running into to doors of the school behind the boy
'he cared for me even though im a complete stranger?'
he thought
'not even my own family care about me like that,
shouldn't he have... kicked me and beaten me up for being so clumsy?
shouldn't i have been punished for my dumb actions?
wh-what is this feeling...
this is so weird...'

reaching the lockers they waved goodbye after putting their things away

vee reached his classroom on time,
sitting in his desk next to his childhood friend ally,
a flustered expression on his face,
ally turned her head towards him.
