A few days later...

Draven arrives at a pier with a beach made of white sand and waters turned pitch black in the middle of the morning.

Draven: "(in head) Let's see what the terrible twins have in store for me."

He takes a step onto the boardwalk.

??? 1/ ??? 2: "We have so much in store for you Draven."

Draven readies his morning star at the sound of Xyex and Xyon's voices over a sort of speaker system.

Draven: "Then do you mind telling me so we can make this nice and quick?"

Draven cautiously treks ahead.

Xyex/ Xyon: "But where's the fun in that?"

Black and white lights surround Draven.

Xyex/ Xyon: "We intend on finishing you at our own pace."

More husks are birthed from the light.

Draven: "Looks like I've found out who've been making these things."

Lightning begins to cackle.

Draven: "(smirking) So that means if I get through you two, my job does nothing but get easier."

Electricity zaps all incoming enemies into dust.

Draven: "Let me see what you've got in store!"

Draven walks ahead.

Meanwhile...

Xyex and Xyon each draw a small blade each, them both looking like half of the yin-yang symbol while hiding on a lower dock.

Xyex: "We'll only fuse if we have have to."

Xyon: "Which hopefully will never come to pass."

A short while later...

Draven has scoured the entirety of the upper dock, but with no signs of the twins.

Draven: "Where the hell are these bastards?"

Draven walks up to the edge of the dock.

Draven: "If I were a pair of sneaky twins, where would I hide?"

He glances towards the beach to see a small chunk of wood popping out.

Draven: "I wouldn't even be on the damn dock!"

Draven leaps into the water to catch a glimpse of his opponents just ahead.

Xyex/ Xyon: "The time has come."

Draven leaps out of the water with a gust of wind and completely dry.

Draven: "Took the words right out of my mouth."

Draven lunges towards them, but Xyon creates a wall of lifeless husks the shield them as they dodge backwards.

Xyex/ Xyon: "You won't get past our infinite army."

Draven tries to slam them in the face with his morning star, but they both block with their unique blades.

Draven: "Yeah, an army of corpses isn't that hard to get through."

The water level is rising.

Xyex/ Xyon: "But then you have us."

The twins evade to either side before lunging towards Draven.

Xyex/ Xyon: "Two halves of one mind, one body!"

They both lodge their blades into Draven's back.

Draven: "(in pain) Like hell I'll let that get in my way!"

Draven uses the wind to send the two flying into each other, but the blades are still lodged into his back.

Xyon: "Our weapons!"

They both bounce around the field.

Xyex: "Give those back!"

Draven rips the blades out of his back before tossing them into the ocean.

Draven: "You want them? Then I'll go ahead and treat you like Tioné!"

He grabs the two at the same time just after dropping his weapon before tossing them into the ocean.

Draven: "No way in hell those two are getting out of this alive."

He picks up his weapon and leaps down onto the neighboring beach.

Draven: "It's over you t-"

A grey light is swelling beneath the ocean's surface.

Draven: "Isn't that...?!"

The light is moving rapidly towards the shore.

Draven: "Oh shit."

Draven dodges backwards as a man wearing a suit that is half black, half white, grey eyes,, a tie with the drama masks on it, and a grey fedora with the yin-yang on the side leaps out of the water completely dry.

Draven: "Xyonex!"

Xyonex dusts off his shoulders and looks towards Draven.

Xyonex: "I only let those two combine when they're in danger. Was it you Draven?"

Draven lets the electricity cackle around him.

Draven: "Apparently you haven't gotten the memo about me."

Xyonex: "Their memories tell me that you have betrayed us, and have already murdered Lithius, Angelos, Morayne, and Tioné, with a missing Crowe as w-"

Draven is cackling with hatred as Xyonex begins to twitch.

Draven: "(pissed) Don't you dare talk about him!"

Draven lunges towards Xyonex out of rage, but he dodges to the side.

Xyonex: "Pitiful."

A large husk erupts from the sand and pins Draven to the ground.

Xyonex: "Do you really care about Angelos that much despite the fact that you murdered him?"

Draven: "(furious) That shit doesn't concern a bastard like you!"

The electricity is intensifying.

Xyonex: "Oh it does Draven."

Xyonex pulls out the completed weapon of Xyex and Xyon and pulls it apart, revealing two complete, yin-yang chakrams.

Xyonex: "The more you hate me, the more likely you'll mess up, allowing me to put an end to you."

Xyonex sends the chakrams straight into Draven's skull, immediately cutting the electrical flow.

Xyonex: "Just lie there and die Draven. Do what's best for all of us, including Angelos and the others."

Xyonex walks over to Draven while twitching more and more before ripping out the chakrams as more and more husks pile on top of him.

Xyonex: "Rest in peace Draven."

Xyonex walks away, but Draven is still alive and kicking.

Draven: "(in head) Like hell I'm going halfway on this shit."

He can feel his bones beginning to crack and himself growing more and more lightheaded.

Draven: "(in head) I'll get him back here..."

A light wind begins to blow.

Draven: "(gritting teeth) If it's the last thing I do!"

Draven uses his wind to force the sand to slide into his ears at a rapid pace.

Xyonex: "(in pain) D-Draven?!"

The sand erupts beneath Draven, sending all of the husks flying into the ocean.

Draven: "(gritting teeth) I'll kill you bastards no matter what it takes!"

Draven uses his wind to grab Xyonex's head from behind.

Xyonex: "I-I need to separate!"

Draven begins to rip Xyonex apart from behind.

Draven: "(pissed) You'll separate on my terms!"

Xyonex's flesh is beginning to tear as electricity begins to cackle.

Xyonex: "Pl-Please le e go!"

Draven: "(pissed) Like hell I'm doing that! As long as you bastards keep murdering mortals like that, then I'm not dying until you all stain this soil with your blood!"

Draven completely tears Xyonex into two with his bare hands, turning the once white sand int a bloody red.

Draven: "(hyperventilating) About time..."

Draven stumbles backwards.

Draven: "(dizzy) Finally..."

Draven falls into the sand out of dizziness from the damage dealt to his brain and the energy he used to sever Xyonex back into two...
