"Do you want to jump?"

"Yes." Jeonghan chuckled bitterly, "They'll be happy without me and that's all I want for a satisfactory death."

"Jump."

"JEONGHAN!!"

After hearing the loud scream, Jeonghan stumbled as he was forcefully pulled back. He felt himself lying on the ground and the only face visible to him was Seungcheol's. His eyes were still glowing in a faint blue colour which meant he was still under the influence of the trap.

And Seungcheol knew what he had to do.

He slammed his lips against Jeonghan's. The tingling sensations were enough to bring the spark back to Jeonghan's numb body. He was no longer feeling empty as he retained his senses.

Seungcheol gently held Jeonghan's nape to pull him closer. Jeonghan grabbed the older's shirt as he found himself melting into the passionate kiss.

When they parted and Jeonghan opened his eyes, they were no more blue. They shone red like a precious ruby which brought joy to both of them.

"You're back." Seungcheol rested his forehead against the younger's, "I was so scared."

"Why did you risk your life for me? They would have needed you in my absence. I don't deserve to live anyways." Jeonghan tried to control his tears.

"But I need you." Seungcheol broke down, "I swear I've never been selfish but for this once, I want to think about myself. And the fact is, it is not possible without you being by my side. And it's not your fault for whatever has happened in the past, just forget it."

"Down bad?" Jeonghan chuckled while his eyes brimmed with tears.

"Really bad." Seungcheol embraced the younger into a tight hug, "I swear."

Both of them cried with a fond smile on their face. Finally, fucking finally, the dark clouds and facade of hatred were gone. It took a whole tragedy for them to realise how much they loved and cherished each other all along.

They must have been fighting with each other for long but both of them knew that they couldn't survive without each other.

They stood up from the ground and Seungcheol couldn't resist but embrace Jeonghan once again. You can't blame him though. But the younger broke down into tears as he held onto the older tightly.

"Jeonghan? What happened?" Seungcheol asked worriedly. He wanted to look at the younger's face but he refused to break the hug.

"I'm sorry." Jeonghan sniffled, "I'm extremely sorry. I don't know how to face you or them anymore. I don't deserve you guys. I didn't trust you even though you tried to get us together multiple times. I created a rift among our group for no reason. I failed you, I failed them. You shouldn't have saved me."

"Jeonghan, look at me."

"I can't."

I couldn't express my feelings because I was too young

"Look at me!" Seungcheol forcefully broke the hug and cupped Jeonghan's face who was getting red as tears overflowed through his gorgeous eyes, "You're hurting me now."

"I've always done it." Jeonghan refused to calm down, "For no reason. You had to deal with useless allegations because of me."

"You know it's not your fault right? You-"

"IT'S ALL MY FAULT." Jeonghan yelled as he cried, "Everything has been my fault since the beginning. I'm fucking pathetic. SELFISH."

"Who told you this bullshit?" Seungcheol stared into his eyes, "You've a beautiful personality Jeonghan. I love you, we all love you."

"Because you all are nice and kind." Jeonghan broke down, "I'm-"

"Jeonghan calm down." Seungcheol embraced the younger and caressed his back, "Don't think or say anything. Just stay still okay?"

"I don't want to live." Jeonghan kept blabbering, "I can't go back to them. I can't face them anymore. I'm your culprit."

"Yeah keep hurting me, go on, continue." Seungcheol stated.

Jeonghan broke the hug and looked at the older one, "What?"

"What? Do you even know how much your words are hurting me?" Seungcheol held the younger's shoulders, "I can't imagine letting you go. Why do you think I came here? Just to hear that you want to die?"

Jeonghan looked down and stayed silent.

Seungcheol lifted up his chin, "You know what, kill me before you try to do something like that."

"Don't say-"

"Jeonghan please calm down, your brain is messed up by the illusion." Seungcheol explained, "You're not in your right mind so just stop being reckless for now."

Jeonghan simply nodded in agreement.

"Now hurry up, we'll have to go back." Seungcheol held the younger's hand.

"But how?" Jeonghan asked.

"Through this." Seungcheol snapped his fingers and a string appeared, "This will help us go back but-"

"But?"

"Listen Jeonghan, I'm damn sure that the illusion is still working." Seungcheol held the younger's hands, "It will try to distract you. Don't pay attention to it okay? I'm here. Nothing is wrong. Just focus on leaving this place, promise?"

"Promise." Jeonghan muttered although he wasn't sure if he would be able to take that illusion once again. For the first time in his whole life, he was genuinely very scared.

Seungcheol made sure to pull Jeonghan as close to him as he could. He began to walk with him, all he knew was that he didn't have to stop. He knew that Jeonghan would scream, ask him to leave and what not but he had to keep walking.

The initial minutes were calm, probably the calm before the storm. Because the next moment, Jeonghan's breath hitched.

He was sure he was seeing things but it seemed real. He was thrown back into a horrible flashback where he had met the alpha of a werewolf pack when he was out of Scarlet Coast.

"How come I met you so late?" The Alpha smirked, "But that doesn't matter since I hit the jackpot."

"I'll fucking kill you!" Jeonghan yelled.

"This is not your land sir." Alpha mocked as he trailed his hand over the vampire's arm.

Jeonghan yanked his hand away and readily grabbed his throat, "How dare you touch me huh? Who gave you the right to do so?!"

Although the alpha struggled in his hold, he still laughed, "I'm telling you again, this, is not your land."

The next moment, Jeonghan's hands were clasped by an invisible force and he got pinned against the wall.

The alpha massaged his throat for a while after which he walked to the vampire and held his chin, "Now where should I start from? You're too tempting, I really can't resist myself."

That was it. Jeonghan couldn't take it anymore. There was a pact between the vampires and werewolves within which they had vowed to protect each other and were not allowed to harm one another.

But, fuck those rules.

Jeonghan used his spell to free himself as he kicked the alpha away, fixing his clothes, "Who do you think you are?"

"Don't forget about our pact Mr. Yoon-"

"Keep those rules in your fucking ass." Jeonghan yelled, "Do you know who I am? A MONSTER. I don't care about them when it comes to my well-being."

Within a blink of an eye, he burnt the whole room, marking the end of the alpha after which he ran away from there.

But killing him didn't help with the disgusting feeling the alpha had left behind. The feeling of being touched by a filthy creature in such a manner was annoying him. This was the exact moment when he wanted Seungcheol to be with him. Not to protect him but to assure him that everything was fine. Not for physical support but for emotional support.

Seungcheol didn't have any idea over what Jeonghan was witnessing. But he knew that it was painful because of his constant screams.

Seungcheol held the younger's hands strongly but after a moment he refused to move even by an inch, "Jeonghan let's just go!"

"I don't want to!" Jeonghan shut his eyes as his ears began to ring again with all of the false accusations.

Seungcheol inhaled a deep breath after which he lifted up the younger in his arms. He knew how to deal with the situation very well. His only aim for now was to escape this deadly illusion as soon as possible.

But it was getting harder. Jeonghan pushed him to which he stumbled and both of them fell on the ground. The younger was quick to get up and run back towards the place where the red ocean was located.

"Jeonghan stop!" Seungcheol ran behind him. Horror took over him as the distance between them increased.

"I'll die, no matter what." Jeonghan screamed, "I deserve it. I'm not worthy enough for you all."

"JEONGHAN STOP IT!!" Seungcheol catched up with the younger's pace and pulled him back by holding his waist.

Jeonghan wriggled furiously within his hold but the older began to recite a spell which didn't seem to work though.

"Leave me Seungcheol and go stay with them!"

"Jeonghan stop it." Seungcheol whispered close to his ears, "No one hates you, got it? You're precious to all of us. You want us to be happy right? Then come back, come back to your senses!"

Jeonghan shut his eyes as the voice of illusion dared to come up again but was overpowered by Seungcheol's words, "If you don't come back today, we won't be able to survive. Do you want that?"

"We hate you-"

"Don't pay attention to any of them! They're just illusions."

"Go awa-"

"Focus on me Jeonghan, only me! "

Jeonghan calmed down. His breath began to turn more steady than earlier which caused relief to Seungcheol.

He cupped the younger's cheeks and kissed him again, "You're fine! You're not going anywhere, I won't let you!"

"You all are so fucking useless!" Jaebyeom yelled at the demons, "It was such a good chance and such a great plan. But they even managed to escape the illusion? How?"

"Hoshi and Woozi suddenly became very outrageous." Sanha replied, "And we didn't know that they had the spell to escape the illusion."

"Stop yelling Mr. Yoon." Eunwoo stood up, "We tried our best. But we won't sacrifice ourselves for this, got it?"

"Exactly, we don't stay at a place which can cause harm to us." Kihyun stated, "We'll attack them again and if they overpower us, we'll leave once again. But they won't be able to do so for long."

"To beat them, we've to first get to know about their potential too." Hyungwon added, "We're just doing that."

"Right, we can't win until and unless we have a grip on their strengths and weaknesses." Jinyoung stated.

Jaebyeom massaged his temples as his did some hand gestures to which all the other demons collapsed in the ground while suffering from intolerable pain.

"This is how you'll feel when I'll pull the life out of your damn souls." Jaebyeom spared them as they fell on the ground, "First of all, don't try to look smart in front of me."

He walked towards the demons, "Second, you know that your life is in my hands right? You better watch your actions."

He crouched down to their level, "Get the forest and then the vampires within a week. As promised, when you'll hand me those bastards, I'll set you free in that prestigious forest."

Jeonghan and Seungcheol finally returned to the mansion where everything was cleared up. Everyone knew the truth. Everyone knew the actual culprit of their misery now. It wasn't Seungcheol, it was Jaebyeom and the demons.

The room remained silent as no one knew how to react. Jeonghan kept looking at his feet while Seungcheol held his arm gently.

"H-hyung!" Hoshi dropped to the floor on his knees as he broke down, "I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. Slap me, beat me, do whatever feels right to you. I deserve it for misbehaving with you. I'm sorry hyung. I know I don't deserve it but please forgive me. You can hate me all you want."

It was when he felt a pair of arms wrap around his shoulders. It was Seungcheol, "Hoshi."

The younger snuggled into his embrace as he cried his heart out, "I'm so sorry hyung."

"It's fine Hoshi." Seungcheol caressed his back as a tear escaped through his eyes too, "You know I'm actually thankful to you. You were always the first one to stand by him in all those times when I couldn't. It was a misunderstanding and now it's gone. I can't hate you because you're very close to my heart. Now, don't cry okay?"

Joshua and Mingyu approached the duo as they sat down on the floor as well.

"Forgive me too hyung." Mingyu mumbled, "We did you wrong. We never tried to understand your side. I'm sorry for not being a good friend to you."

"Seungcheol." Joshua began, "I should have helped you to find the actual culprit but instead I blamed you too. I'm really sorry for everything. We've hurt you so much, if possible, please forgive us."

Seungcheol involved Joshua and Mingyu into a group hug along with Hoshi, "Forget it you all. I understand your side too. Everything happened in a hassle and it's no one's fault. We're all together now, that's what matters."

Jeonghan walked up to Wonwoo, Woozi and Seokmin but didn't dare to look into their eyes as he tried to control his tears.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled, "I failed you guys. I was wrong all the time and amidst that I couldn't stand by your side. I wasn't there for you whenever you needed me. I know I wasn't a good friend and an older one for you and I'll accept any punishment for that."

Jeonghan sniffled quietly, "Seungcheol is crazy, he forgave me so easily. I expect you guys to stay sane and provide me what I deserve for ruining everything. Just remember that I love you guys, I will forever."

Seokmin was the first to hug him followed by Woozi and Wonwoo as all of them cried heavily.

"We missed you hyung." Seokmin whispered, "Don't blame yourself."

"Now that everything is over." Woozi chuckled amidst his sobs, "Let's stay together and be happy. You deserve our love and your warmth is our right. Don't go anywhere."

"Right." Wonwoo wiped his tears, "If you go anywhere again, we'll never talk to you. Just stay with us now! That's all we want."

Seungcheol smiled and combined the hug as all of them were now together as the united and strong group they were.

"Let's not cry anymore." Seungcheol spoke, "Forget the past and focus on our present and future."

After breaking the group hug they began to interact with each other.

The final scenario was that Seungcheol was consoling Jeonghan. Wonwoo and Mingyu were apologising to each other while Joshua and Seokmin were embracing each other.

But Hoshi and Woozi stood separately. They didn't know how to react. Their arguments in the past had escalated far more than the root cause. It was personal and declaring Seungcheol innocent was not the cure to their dispute.

They sighed as they knew that they had a long way to go. Starting that day, everyone was going to stay together most of the time but they were still awkward to each other.

Nevertheless, it was still better. The Rivalry among the two Stylths was finally over and now they were set to mend their relationship with each other.
