"You're telling me this now?" Seungcheol crossed his hands against his chest as the younger ones spilled the entire story to him.

"Oh please hyung, we tried to stop you a lot." Wonwoo scrunched his nose.

"What would Joshua hyung be thinking about Seokmin?" Woozi raised his concern as the Seokmin remained silent.

"I saw him crying and couldn't stop myself." Seungcheol approached Seokmin and cupped his cheeks, "Are you mad at me?"

Seokmin just looked down and didn't utter a single word.

"We'll go to Serenity HQ and apologize tonight." Seungcheol declared, "I mean I'll apologize to Joshua and you can clear things up with him."

Seokmin looked up at the older as he embraced him.

No matter how much they fought, they knew how to clear things up.

Meanwhile, in Serenity HQ, a silent breakfast was going on. Jeonghan looked at Mingyu and Hoshi, gesturing them to note Joshua's behaviour as he focused on his food.

"Shua." Jeonghan called.

"Hmm?" Joshua kept on concentrating on his meal.

"Are you- fine?"

"I'm not." Joshua mumbled as he put down his chopsticks, "Thankyou for picking up this topic because I didn't know how to apologize to you."

"You don't have to." Jeonghan held his hand, "You were going through a lot, alone. I understand okay? I was talking about Seokmin."

"Seokmin?" Joshua chuckled bitterly, "Isn't it obvious that everything ended yesterday? He really had to say twisted things to Seungcheol like that?"

"Shua! You know he couldn't do something like that." Jeonghan explained.

"Right." Hoshi added, "Seokmin looked worried for you too. I don't think he's at fault."

"No seriously, I think there's a misunderstanding." Mingyu elaborated, "Seungcheol hyung must have heard some crumbs or whatever and reacted like that."

"Exactly." Jeonghan paused, "Why don't you just talk to him? If he really wants to end everything then at least you both should have a final talk? Go meet him tonight."

"But we have dinner with the mortals tonight." Hoshi informed.

"Don't worry, I'll go after dinner." Joshua chuckled, "You're right, conversation is the key."

"I need to use the restroom." Seungkwan mumbled as the mortals were seated in the dining hall of Serenity HQ for a lavishing dinner, "Can someone accompany me? Jeonghan hyung?"

"Don't worry, I'll take you." Mingyu volunteered.

"But Seungkwan, you've been here many times." Hoshi asked, "You still don't know about the restroom?"

"I forget." Seungkwan smiled hesitantly, "I mean the mansion is so big, I get confused."

"Okay let's go." Mingyu dragged Seungkwan with him. Both of them didn't speak a single word as they walked which was strange for Mingyu.

As they reached the middle of the hallway, the lights began to flicker vigorously and eventually turned off.

Mingyu's first priority was to check on Seungkwan but he wasn't beside him. When he turned to the the other side, his eyes widened, "Cha Eunwoo?"

"How did the lights turn off?" Joshua mumbled to the abrupt darkness.

"Wait, where are Jun, Minghao, Vernon and Dino?" Hoshi panicked.

"What do you mean?" Jeonghan worriedly stood up, "Weren't they right here? C'mon, SEARCH!"

But before they could speak, Mingyu landed right in front of them as the lights dimly turned on.

"Mingyu!" Jeonghan helped him to stand up as the younger winced in pain, "What happened?"

"YOU-?!" Hoshi yelled as his jaw dropped.

"Long time no see." Vernon smirked as the humans were lined up in front of them. But the mirror beside them said something different.

Seungkwan's reflection depicted Eunwoo, Sanha was disguised as Vernon, Kihyun as Jun, Jinyoung as Minghao and Hyungwon as Dino.

"What the fuck?" Joshua blurted out, "Where are they?"

"Right in front of you." Sanha bowed, "It's their own body. We just managed to possess them."

"And is it okay if I pierce a knife inside my body." Eunwoo chuckled, "I mean his body."

"Don't you fucking dare." Jeonghan's eyes turned red followed by the other three.

"How did you manage to get them?" Mingyu scrunched his brows, "We shielded their apartment."

"Right." Hyungwon sat down on the couch along with his mates, "But they broke the spell by opening the gate, unfortunately."

"Their curiosity turned them into the dumb creatures they are." Jinyoung pretended to be sad.

"Oh and sorry." Kihyun began, "I stole that record book and dropped them by their apartment. You can fetch it from there later on."

"Seems like a book to me." Seungkwan looked at the screen keenly, "Should we take it in?"

"But opening the gate is risky." Jun paused, "Remember the criminals?"

"Yeah but we'll quickly drag it in, what say?" Seungkwan suggested, "You can keep monitoring through the camera and I'll take the book. Maybe it can help us in our research."

"Okay sure, but be careful." Jun warned as he focused on the screen.

Seungkwan opened the main gate, grabbed the thick book and closed the door immediately.

They looked at the book which said, "The Scarlet Coast : Statistics, Rules and Records".

Due to opening the main gate, the spell around the apartment broke and the demons fled into their place but they waited. Waited for the humans to unfold the horrible secrets of the Scarlet Coast.

"Let's call the other three too." Jun suggested.

"But they're sleeping."

"Wake them up." Jun walked towards Minghao's room, "This is more important."

Seungkwan nodded as he went to fetch Vernon and Dino. All five of them gathered in the study room, around the new book they had found out.

"It's really really strange to me." Minghao stared at the book, "This is literally a record book of a whole town and someone casually dropped it by our apartment?"

"I know." Vernon nodded, "Let's hand it to the hyungs tomorrow. Maybe the criminals were trying to do something."

"Yeah but let's have a look too?" Dino suggested, "It will help us in our research."

"This is weird though." Seungkwan scrunched his nose, "They don't have an online system for this even if they have such good advancements here?"

Jun flipped the book open and all of them were stunned. The first information that slapped their faces was that Scarlet Coast was a land of vampires, exactly what the urban legends used to say.

"Va-vampires?" Seungkwan stared at the bold letters in horror.

"Calm down." Vernon tried to comfort him when he himself was not in the right mind.

Jun gulped and kept flipping the pages as the mortals uncovered all the secrets one by one and that was when they came across the ritual of human sacrifice.

"NOO!" Minghao yelled, "How can they do this?!"

"It means they were acting kind just to trap us?" Dino's lips quivered, "They will kill us to gain powers?"

"That's exactly what this book says." Jun clenched his fists, "Now everything makes sense. They were getting close to us to gain our blind trust."

"I really can't believe this." Vernon scrunched his brows, "They broke our trust. I thought they were nice people, but turns out that they're monsters."

Little did they know that the actual monsters were lurking around their house? After successfully shattering their trust over the vampires, the demons wasted no time to possess them.

The mortals didn't know but the demons were well aware of the special place they held in the hearts of the vampires.

And they were ready to use it to their advantage.

"How come we didn't get to know when the spell broke?" Hoshi furrowed his brows.

"You guys were too busy fighting over your stupid conflicts." Sanha clapped twice.

"Leave them!" Jeonghan glared, "You've nothing to do with them."

"Who said that to you?" Kihyun smirked, "We've many things to do with them."

He picked up a knife and aimed it to stab in his own body that is, Jun's body. But Hoshi was quick to pull that knife away from him through a red cloud generated by him.

"Chill, I wasn't going to kill him." Kihyun teased.

"And why do you care if they live or die?" Sanha shrugged, "They're mere humans."

"Right?" Hyungwon added, "Scarlet Coast can get any mortal they want so why are you so obsessed with them?"

"Let them simply die." Jinyoung remarked, "Or? Are you trying to save them because you've started to treat them as your family?"

"Pity." Eunwoo laughed, "Vampires being kind and soft? But do you know what? These little mortals already know about your ruthless side."

"Stop it." Mingyu yelled, "What the fuck do you want?"

"Take it slow Mingyu." Hyungwon grinned, "Do you really think that you're angels?"

"You all are as cruel as us and you know that." Kihyun provided a reality check, "You are a bunch of monsters too, don't pretend to be angels."

"This little drama of yours won't convert this shady Coast into heaven." Sanha stepped forward, "It is and will always remain the land of bloody monsters."

"Well anyways." Jinyoung rolled his eyes, "As you asked, we want him." His finger pointed at Jeonghan.

The vampires looked at the demons in confusion. Want Jeonghan? Why?

"You know, our orders come from a very close acquaintance of Jeonghan." Eunwoo walked closer to them, "Haven't you told them, Yoon Jeonghan?"

"What are you talking about?" Jeonghan spat in rage.

"Oh seems like you don't know either." Hyungwon crossed his arms against his chest, "Then, let's keep this for later."

"Will you stop with your bullshit?" Hoshi stood in distress, "Leave them, right now."

"For free?" Sanha cocked a brow, "Are you dumb or think that we're dumb?"

"That's what we asked?" Joshua backed the younger, "WHAT. DO. YOU. WANT?"

"We told you as well." Jinyoung stated, "We want your leader."

"Can you please elaborate?" Mingyu's words dripped with sarcasm.

"Oh why not." Eunwoo nodded, "I've prepared a lot for you Yoon Jeonghan, come with me and we'll leave their body."

"5 seconds." Kihyun displayed his palm, "We'll give you 5 seconds to shield them and if you fail, they're done for."

"Do you think this is a joke?" Joshua looked at the enemies in disbelief, "Jeonghan isn't going with-"

"I agree." Jeonghan agreed as silence fell in the hall, "I'll do whatever you want. LEAVE THEM."

"Hyung-"

"That's my order." Jeonghan declared, "Save them first. I'm capable to protect myself, don't worry."

"Great." Eunwoo chuckled, "Get ready everyone, 3, 2, 1, GO!"

The demons left the body of humans only to aim for them back again. But the three vampires were quick to utilise their 5 seconds to draw a strong spell around the unconscious mortals.

The glittery strings held the shield in place as they were obliged to use the complex spell because of the powerful demons and as a result the three vampires were completely occupied with their responsibility.

Jeonghan was escorted by Eunwoo as a huge sphere of faint clouds was formed in the room and the other two could be seen inside that illusion created by the lead demon.

"WHERE DID HE TAKE HIM?" Hoshi screamed as the lost face of Jeonghan was visible as he was trapped in that illusion.

"We'll have to save him." Mingyu cried.

"But we can't give up on this shield." Joshua nodded, "We're already slacking off."

"WHAT'S HAPPENING?" A voice was heard which belonged to the leader of Rose Quartz Stylth.

Seungcheol, Wonwoo, Woozi and Seokmin who were there to apologise to Joshua were startled by the scenario going on inside the hall.

"Ay welcome friends." Sanha clapped his hands as he mocked the former ones, "We missed you."

"What the fuck are you all doing here?" Woozi sweared, "What is all this?"

Joshua, Hoshi and Mingyu didn't have the time or energy to look back at the Rose Quartz Stylth, they had to protect the humans at all costs.

"Jeonghan!" Seungcheol mumbled as he rushed to the spherical screen-like illusion, "Where is he?"

"He went to hang out with Eunwoo." Jinyoung shrugged, "Anyways boys, let's get the humans."

With that, a thunderbolt approached Hoshi as he was busy with holding the spell. He was bound to get hit with it but Woozi was quick to use his powers. His red clouds ate up the black thunderbolt as he stood in front of Hoshi.

"Don't you fucking dare." Woozi muttered.

So their next targets were Joshua and Mingyu but they were shielded by Seokmin and Wonwoo respectively.

The current situation was that the Serenity Stylth were shielding the humans while the Rose Quartz Stylth except Seungcheol was shielding themselves as well as Serenity.

Seungcheol was lost in horror. Jeonghan was gone. Gone to the hallucination along with one of the most powerful demons, Cha Eunwoo.

Meanwhile the demons kept roaming around the shield to harm the vampires. They couldn't break the spell but their attacks were constantly hitting and scarring the vampires.

"Hold on, please! We can do it." Hoshi squeezed his eyes shut and opened it again, "Just a few more moments."

"We can't lose, not at all." Woozi backed him up.

"Are you okay hyung?" Mingyu asked Wonwoo, "Please don't get hurt."

"Don't worry about me, Mingyu." Wonwoo replied, "Focus on them."

"Hyung, we can talk about our dispute later." Seokmin insisted, "Please trust me now."

"I trust you Seokmin and I'm sorry." Joshua struggled to speak, "Let's not get hurt."

"I'll go in." Seungcheol declared as moved close to the illusionary world created by Eunwoo.

"You want to die along with him?" Kihyun laughed, "Please go on, it would be a double kill."

"You really think you can save him Seungcheol?" Sanha smirked, "You would yourself need protection once you dive in."

"You'll not be able to find him in the first place." Hyungwon laughed, "That's not your typical real world."

"I don't care." Seungcheol screamed, "I'll go, no matter what. It's better to die with him than to leave him on his own."

"Why not?" Jinyoung chuckled, "Go, die."

"You'll regret this." Seungcheol warned the demons and disappeared. Everyone understood that he had dived into the illusion.

Was it a dumb move?

"Call some forces." Joshua, who was the eldest after Seungcheol's and Jeonghan's departure, ordered, "We can't hold it for long."

"I did." Wonwoo informed, "But the demons have cast a spell and hence no one can come in."

"I'll just go and vanish their spell." Woozi volunteered, "We need some help anyhow."

"Fine." Joshua nodded, "Just don't get hurt."

Woozi walked out of their shield and was immediately hit with a cloud of glass pieces. He stumbled on his feet but managed to endure the attack.

"WOOZI!" Hoshi screamed as he gave up on holding his spell and slammed a thunder of treacherous cloud against Kihyun who had hurt Woozi.

"Hoshi! Just go there! I can protect myself." Woozi worriedly stated, "You're needed there."

"Let me snap that bastard's neck first." Hoshi grabbed Kihyun's neck as an aura of fire developed around them, "How dare you huh? HOW FUCKING DARE YOU?!"

Kihyun struggled within Hoshi's grip as the fire he had generated was getting stronger and stronger.

"What's happening?" Sanha mumbled as the sudden outburst of overwhelming powers was quite unexpected for them.

"Let's just leave." Hyungwon suggested, "We've already succeeded in our task to trap Jeonghan."

"Right." Jinyoung nodded, "But save him first."

No one tried to calm Hoshi. Why would they? He was doing great in freaking out the demons. Ironic, yes.

Sanha dived in to protect Kihyun but was halted by Woozi's terrific red storm. He got confused as the fast moving wind surrounded him, "What the actual fuck?"

Woozi stood stunned. Hoshi's anger was at its peak and why? Because he got a small scratch on his left arm which had already healed.

So he still cares for me or I'm overthinking?
Get a grip Woozi, it's not the time.

Hoshi and Woozi fought together as the overwhelming cyclone of fire created by Hoshi obliged the demons to run away from that place.

But the threat was still there. Jeonghan was trapped within the spell and Seungcheol was lost in the illusion as well.

Eunwoo's trap was still working and the vampires were struggling to protect the humans. Finally, the army of vampires managed to barge in and a strong spell was cast in unison to protect that particular area.

The vampires could finally stop struggling. They made sure to shield the humans after which all of them walked towards the screen-like structure of the illusion created by Eunwoo.

Jeonghan and Seungcheol were indeed in great trouble.
