"What is he even doing?" Jeonghan mumbled as he envisioned Hoshi burning down the dried and abandoned forest through his rage and powers. He was wandering in that forest alone late at night.

He seemed to be deeply hurt and Jeonghan was totally oblivious of the reason. Still, he made an assumption that he might be missing Woozi.

He very well knew how much Hoshi loved Woozi and as a result he used to miss him too. But he didn't want to and because of those overwhelming feelings, he would always get out of control whenever such a feeling would linger in his mind.

"He needs to stop." Jeonghan scoffed in concern. He immediately linked Hoshi, acting as if he didn't know what the younger was doing, 'Hoshi, meet me in my room if you're free.'

'Yes hyung.' A reply from Hoshi was received after which he arrived in the older's room within a few minutes.

"You called me?" Hoshi asked as he stepped into the room, "What happened?"

Jeonghan was sitting on his bed, he was short of words when he witnessed the cheerful expressions on the younger's face as if he wasn't burning with rage just a while ago.

He was pretty good at hiding his emotions and that's what Jeonghan hated the most. He wanted everyone to share their feelings and concerns rather than crying about it to themselves.

"Come here." Jeonghan gestured for him to settle beside him with a chuckle.

Hoshi complied to the older as he layed down on the bed. Jeonghan lifted Hoshi's head and settled it on his lap as he caressed his hair gently.

Hoshi closed his eyes to feel the love of the older. Being adored by his hyungs was the best thing he could ask for.

"How have you been Hoshi?" Jeonghan hummed, "We haven't talked much in a while."

"I'm alright hyung." Hoshi mumbled as he snuggled into the older's warmth.

"That's great but you know that you can share anything with me right?" Jeonghan kissed his forehead, "I'm here for you, for everyone."

"Yes hyung." Hoshi replied, "In general, I'm doing good. I just- I miss him sometimes."

"It's okay Hoshi." Jeonghan kept caressing his hair and arm, "I've already told you, you can see him whenever you wish to. Why don't you-"

"No hyung." Hoshi cut him off, "I don't want to see him anymore. He doesn't care at all, I'm the only one longing for his stupid affection."

"And how do you know that?" Jeonghan asked, "Just like you pretend to be fine, he must be doing the same. You never know what the other person is feeling unless you talk to them."

"There was no need to pretend when I was broken." Hoshi mumbled, "Why would he care now when he didn't care when I needed him the most? And even if he does, what will I do of that care?"

Jeonghan stayed silent. He didn't know what to say, "It's okay Hoshi, do whatever suits you. But remember one thing, if something can still be fixed and isn't out of hand then don't stop trying by assuming things."

"Things are far from getting fixed, really far. Just leave it hyung, please." Hoshi implied.

"Alright, I won't talk about it." Jeonghan gestured to seal his mouth.

It was when both of them heard weird noises coming from outside the window. They got up and approached the window. When they looked down, their eyes widened.

Seungkwan and Vernon were climbing up towards the window through the tree branch growing against the wall of the mansion.

"Hell no, what are you guys even doing?" Jeonghan exclaimed as he was worried for the two.

"Oh Jeonghan hyung, Hoshi hyung!." Seungkwan screamed, "Help us, we're stuck."

"I swear I'm never making bets again." Vernon yelled while hanging on the wooden branch.

"I lost because of you." Seungkwan retorted, "I'm never teaming up with you again."

"Why are you blaming me?" Vernon scrunched his eyebrows, "It was my penalty, you volunteered to accompany and now you're blaming me as if I dragged you here."

"Yahh you're really-" Seungkwan scoffed, "Anyways, HYUNGS HELP US, WILL YOU?"

"No I thought your bickering was interesting." Hoshi teased, "So finish them first."

Jeonghan smacked Hoshi's arm while having a mischievous look, "They're already married, Hoshi, let them be."

"Oh shut up hyung." Seungkwan and Vernon yelled in unison after which Seungkwan continued, "Who the fuck said this kind of shit?"

"No one." Jeonghan shrugged, "I made it up because YOU definitely look like a married couple."

"Of course."

"Uh-" Seungkwan slipped a bit as the wooden branch shifted, "HYUNG I'LL FALL."

"Seungkwan don't joke-"

"AHH SHIT!" Vernon slipped off the tree in an attempt to protect Seungkwan and in turn, Seungkwan fell as well.

They were in the air, ready to accept their fate with their eyes shut. It was when both of them felt another body wrapped around themselves.

Jeonghan was holding Seungkwan while Hoshi safeguarded Vernon as both the vampires had red eyes dazzling like a ruby.

The mortals couldn't believe what they were witnessing. How can someone fly in the air without a parachute or something? That's impossible.

Soon enough, they were carried back to Jeonghan's room as both the mortals stood stunned. The vampires cupped their faces and stared intensely into their eyes.

"Forget what happened. You guys climbed up the window all by yourself without tripping."

Their red eyes faded and the mortals felt a bit dizzy and confused. Of course, the spell worked and the humans forgot the specific part where they had witnessed their hyungs flying.

A foreign voice rang in Jeonghan's head, Serenity can't sacrifice Boo Seungkwan and Chwe Hansol anymore.

"We weren't planning to anyways." Jeonghan mumbled and Hoshi understood what order he would have received.

"What were you guys thinking huh?" Hoshi rebuked the younger ones, "Are you really out of your mind? What made you think that you can climb up such a tall building?"

"Right? It was so dangerous. How can you be so careless?" Jeonghan scolded as well, "You fell! Uhh almost. Don't pull these kinds of stunts again or else-"

They saw the younger ones getting uneasy because of the scoldings and their eyes immediately softened. They approached them and clinged onto their arms.

"We were talking for your own good okay? Sorry!" Jeonghan apologised.

"No hyung it's fine." Seungkwan chuckled, "It just shows how much you care for us."

"I almost had a heart attack." Hoshi scoffed.

"Sorry hyungs, we'll take care the next time." Vernon nodded.

"Wait, one more thing." Jeonghan stood in front of them, "Why did you leave the apartment by yourself?"

"We called Mingyu hyung." Seungkwan replied, "And since we're safe within the HQ we sent him away."

"And he just left?" Jeonghan cocked a brow, "I'll see him later. How could he?"

"No no! It's not his fault." Vernon cleared up, "We insisted on him a lot, he didn't want to leave. Seriously, we practically pushed him to his room."

"Well anyways, now we should leave." Seungkwan spoke up, "It's too late, sorry for disturbing you guys."

"It's fine! Come, I'll drop you guys home." Jeonghan volunteered, "And Hoshi, you too have some rest." He caressed the younger's hair, "If you want to sleep here, please do. I'll be back in a while."

Hoshi nodded with a grin while Jeonghan left with the two younger ones.

"Hyung, let's not take a car." Seungkwan suggested, "Let's just walk, it's not that far away."

"Sure!" Jeonghan changed direction from the parking lot and began to walk along with them. He shielded the mortals who were oblivious of this fact.

Even in general, the mortals were really unaware of how much security they were bound by. The vampires knew the potential of the demons and hence they were not ready to take any single chance.

"So-" Jeonghan began, "You guys are dating, aren't you?"

Seungkwan's ears turned red as he tried to suppress his grin while Vernon smacked his arm, "Why do you get so nervous over this question? Of course we're dating, what's wrong?"

"Ah no, he just asked out of the blue so I felt a bit you know-"

"It's okay Seungkwan." Jeonghan laughed as he pinched his cheeks, "I wish you both all the best! Take care of each other and always stand by your partner. It's always the small things that matter for a long term relationship, so never forget to remind each other that you care, no matter how much the former is trying to push you away."

"Woah hyung, your words were-" Vernon paused to find an appropriate remark, "Beautiful. I mean, I'll always remember this. Are you also seeing someone?"

"Cheol hyung?" Seungkwan asked all of a sudden.

"No." Jeonghan subtly gulped as he tried to laugh it off. He was never by my side, pity, "What made you think like that?"

"Nothing, I've never seen you talk a lot." Seungkwan admitted, "But somehow, you both radiate that energy. Plus, you look good together."

"Stop it Seungkwan." Vernon mumbled slowly.

"It's all in your mind Seungkwan, there's nothing like that." Jeonghan patted his shoulder, "Anyways, we're here."

"Thank you hyung." The mortals stepped into their apartment, "Good Night."

Jeonghan stayed there until he made sure that the younger ones went inside safely. He checked the shield spell twice after which he left.

But somehow, he didn't want to go back inside the four walls. He decided to take a walk to have some alone time.

He didn't realise that he had strolled along for a pretty decent amount of time, "I should go back." He mumbled to himself but halted when he heard a familiar voice.

He stepped closer behind the bushes and couldn't believe it when he witnessed Joshua and Seokmin, together.

"Yes hyung." Seokmin stated, "Wonwoo hyung came to know about us being together. And as you said, Hoshi hyung found out as well. We should do something or else everyone will come to know one by one."

"What are you trying to imply?" Joshua asked.

"Hyung!" Seokmin held the older's hands, "Let's not see each other for a while and make them believe that we broke up."

"Are you out of your mind Seokmin?" Joshua retracted his hands, "We will gain nothing from it. After a while, when we'll start meeting again, they'll suspect us. So what are you going to do? Never see me again?"

"No hyung, we need to-"

"Stop it already Seokmin." Joshua rolled his eyes, "You need to stop being a coward. If Jeonghan and Seungcheol ever find out about us, they won't kill us or something. Probably, there will be chaos for a while but then we'll settle again."

"Do you really want to cause problems because of us?" Seokmin innocently asked.

"Seokmin!!" Joshua was annoyed, "Why can't you think about us for once? Do you not love me anymore so you're finding excuses to part ways?"

"No-"

"Because the fear of everyone finding out about us has prevailed since forever." Joshua frowned, "Why are you bringing it up now?"

"Hyung, please don't overreact. I was just sharing my concern." Seokmin explained.

"And how am I supposed to stay calm with whatever you're saying?" Joshua stepped closer to the younger, "Mind it Seokmin, if you're going to fear everything and anything, don't talk to me. It's your choice now."

With his last words being said, Joshua disappeared as the younger was left alone in the middle of the garden.

Jeonghan inhaled a deep breath. What did he just witness? He noticed the extremely hurt expressions of Seokmin and wanted to console him so badly.

But he couldn't. He had to leave the younger on his own.

One more thing to regret, sorry Seokmin.
Why was everything so complicated?
Does Seungcheol know? Of course not.
But Hoshi? He knows too?
I should talk to Seungcheol as well.
But he won't listen.
Huh!!

But this didn't mean that he won't talk to Joshua. He definitely would.
