The images are finally clear to Kanna. She is in a beautifully decorated room. It kind of reminds her of Halia's room. She smiles and looks around. She then looks in a mirror, and sees herself as a little girl. She is startled by the image that she moves back, and bumps into a desk.

She hears a vase fall and crash on the ground. She turns around to look at the vase. There were red roses all over the floor. Kanna begins to pick them up one by one. They still have their thorns so she is stabbing her hands with those thorns. They don't hurt though.

"Kanna do the roses hurt you?" Kanna hears the voice of Allison. She continues to pick up the roses, but she still answers "yes". The flowers have all been picked up and then the door is burst open. She sees another girl who looks exactly like her. The only difference is her eyes are full of hatred.

"What did you do to my roses?!" The other little girl yells in disgust. She goes up to Kanna, and slaps her hard. That causes her to fall on the floor on the shards of the broken vase. Still no pain. She just looks at the little girl. Her cruel attitude is familiar.

"Midouri! Don't hurt Kanna!" Says another girl identical to Kanna, and what she now knows is Midouri. If she is Midouri then the other girl is Vierra. Vierra goes to Kanna, and picks her up by her elbows.

"Kanna you're bleeding! Are you okay?" Vierra says in concern.

"Kanna what are you seeing?" The voice of Allison echoes once more. Her voice is unheard by Vierra and Midouri. "Vierra and Midouri. . . my identical sisters." Kanna says softly. Although this causes Brutus much shock.

"Sisters?!" He says before Allison silences him with her glare. He nods an apology, and Allison once more focuses on Kanna.

"You two should just die! You two are so weak! I'm ashamed to call you two my sisters!" Midouri yells. Then she gives Vierra and Kanna a truly evil smile. She walks up to both of them, and beats them with the thorns of the roses. She is laughing at the screams of pain of Vierra and Kanna.

This time Kanna does feel the pain. She is screaming in pain in her physical body as well. Brutus stands quickly and tries to go to her. Allison puts her hand, and stops Brutus from coming any closer. Allison points to him to sit. He has no other choice, and does so.

"Kanna! It is your mind! You must stop her from hurting you and Vierra!" Allison says to the sleeping figure of Kanna. The suggestion of Allison is followed and she puts her hand out to stop the thorns. She even goes so far as to push Midouri down. Vierra is still on the ground crying. Midouri stands ready for another attack, but she stops and leaves the room with a silent smile.

"Vierra are you going to be okay?" Kanna asks the crying Vierra. She turns around since there is no answer. She sees the Vierra who looks like her as an adult. Kanna stares at her in wonder.

"Thank you Kanna you saved me. But your mission is far from over. I wish I could help you my little sister, but I can't. You must save yourself and your mind. Stop Midouri. I'm counting on you." Vierra says as she then is gone from the room. Kanna is shocked by the revelation of knowing that Midouri and Vierra are her identical triplet sisters.

Her memories are returning to her. This gives her more confidence to continue, and keep her promise to Brutus. She opens the door to the room she shared with them, and ends up in a very different place.

She is in a school. She recalls that it is her elementary school. She recognizes the uniform. She walks around, and none of the other little girls are paying attention to her. It is more like they are just looking at her very coldly. The only thing that comes to Kanna is that they all might be confusing her with Midouri.

"Kanna! There you are. I was looking for you." Vierra is once again in her presence. It's like the encounter they had earlier never happened.

"Kanna you hardly smile. Please do. I hate seeing that sad face." Vierra says as she gently strokes Kanna's cheek. Kanna tilts her head to where Vierra's hand is and closes her eyes.

"Kanna?" Allison says. There is no response this time. "Kanna? Can you hear me?" Allison says a little louder this time. Still no response.

"What's going on?!" Brutus asks once again standing, and going towards Kanna's sleeping figure. Allison tries to pull Brutus back, but she is a small woman compared to him. He shrugs her off, and grabs Kanna's shoulders. He shakes her and calls out her name, but there is no response.

"Midouri why did you want to see us in the pool room?" Vierra asks the question that Kanna had no desire to ask. She felt it was for nothing good. Kanna is holding tightly to Vierra's hand. Midouri is only moving back and forth on her heels. She is humming a very scary sounding tune. Not scary. She is humming "Ring Around The Roses".

"Midouri! Answer me!" Vierra says with force that even she didn't believe in. Kanna then feels like she should be doing something, but she can't recall what. This moment almost feels like a deja vu. She is staring intently at the eyes of Midouri. She wants to know if she would see anything in them. Something that will tell her what Midouri was up to. Kanna sees nothing. Midouri has always been an expert at hiding her feelings and intentions.

"Tell me dear sisters of mine. Why would I want you two to meet me here all alone?" Midouri turns the question back at Vierra. Vierra is taken aback by all this. She doesn't know what to say.

"You want to kill us." The silent whisper of Kanna says. Although it wasn't silent enough for Vierra and Midouri to miss. Vierra gasps and holds Kanna's hand tighter. Midouri giggles and then claps.

"Very good Kanna!" Says Midouri with a notable sarcasm.

"You wouldn't dare! We are your sisters Midouri! How can you do this?!" Vierra says with a cracked voice. Kanna knows she wants to cry. Vierra was always made easy to cry. It's Kanna's turn to be the brave one. She had to. She felt it was the only way to prevent what could possibly happen to them.

"Why isn't she waking up?!" Yells Brutus at the calm expression of Allison. She is looking only at Kanna. This angers Brutus, and he grabs Allison by her shoulders hard. "Answer me! What did you do to her?!" He yells once more. Allison glares up at him with such ferocity that he lets go of her.

"It is up to Kanna to save herself. Only she can. She has blocked my voice because she truly believes she can save herself. So enough of doubting her and just wait!" Allison yells back. This is the first time since she got there where he saw Allison lose her composure. He clenches and unclenches his hands. He finally sits down. Allison remains standing watching Kanna again. Kanna looks so calm. Brutus is embarrassed by his outbursts. He is ashamed that he can't be as calm as Kanna looks. He taps his foot trying to ease his tension.

Vierra is pulling Kanna's hand running all over the giant building of the pool room trying to escape Midouri. While Midouri is only calmly walking following her sisters. She is enjoying herself almost as if it were a fun game of chase.

"Kanna please! Please help me run! I can't do this alone!" Vierra begs Kanna as she remains emotionless at this whole situation. She is silent. Almost as if she wanted to block this all out. Another part of her refuses to do so though. She feels like she is doing this for someone, but she can't recall who. She knows this person is important to her, but her memories are all hazy.

"Vierra. . . Kanna. . . I can hear you run. . . You shouldn't run away from me. . . You two are only lengthening your demises." Midouri says in a sing song voice. Kanna pulls her hand away from Vierra. "Kanna?! Don't stop here! We must run!" Vierra says as she reaches for Kanna's hand. Kanna pulls back and shakes her head forcefully.

"I won't run. I have to stop Midouri once and for all. I have to for my Halia and Brutus!" She says as she finally remembered why this was happening. She felt it in her heart that she could really do this. All for her loved ones. All for them. Vierra is looking at her confused. "Kanna! She's coming! We can't just stand here!" Vierra pleads once more to Kanna. "You go!" Kanna says loudly this time. Vierra hesitates for a moment, but does so. She runs up the stairs of the pool room. Kanna turns her back to Vierra, and faces Midouri who finally caught up with them. She was walking ever so slowly towards Kanna, but Kanna would not move back.

"What's this? Not running are you. Well this just makes it easier for me. Although I would have liked to see Vierra die right alongside you as well." Midouri says in a sarcastic dismayed tone. She once more changes her expression to that of a sneer.

"I won't run, and I won't let you hurt Vierra! You've hurt all my loved ones for far too long! You hurt Vierra, but I won't let you hurt Halia or Brutus! You've done enough damage!" Kanna yells with determination. She turns around and runs up the stairs expecting Midouri to follow. Midouri does so. Kanna doesn't want to repeat this moment, but it is the only way to set her free from Midouri and Vierra. Vierra couldn't find a hiding spot so she stands in the open near a high ledge that if she fell she would land in the far off pool. She turns with fear at Kanna coming her way as well as Midouri.

"I'm sorry Vierra that this has to happen." Kanna says to Vierra with all the pain in her heart. Vierra is confused by all this. She remains silent though. Midouri searches around and finds a long sharp rod. She takes it in her hand and studies it with so much malice.

"Well my dear sisters. This is the end of you both." She says as she turns her evil eyes towards them both. "You are first Kanna." She says as she points the sharp rod to Kanna. Vierra does not want this to happen. She looks too for something. She finds an identical rod to the one Midouri has. She looks at is, but picks it up once Midouri charges at Kanna. Kanna is frozen, and she is doing it on purpose. She knows this has to happen. It is her mind, but she can not change her past. She must let this memory happen like it did all that time ago. She closes her eyes and hears two groans of pain. She knows that it is Vierra and Midouri. They hit vital areas and killed each other instantaneously. All three of them were near the ledge that leads to the pool. Midouri and Vierra fall to the side causing Kanna to fall alongside them. They all land hard on the pool. Kanna feels the pain of it, but Midouri and Vierra are too dead to feel it. Then Kanna is looking at the pool from atop the ledge. She sees her unconscious body floating along with her two dead sisters. The pool is becoming tainted with their blood.

"You did it Kanna. You saved yourself." Kanna turns around to the voice of Vierra. Seeing her causes Kanna to burst into tears. She runs to Vierra and holds her tightly. Vierra holds her back and strokes her hair with one of her hands. "I'm sorry I didn't save you Vierra!" Kanna screams into the chest of Vierra. Vierra lightly laughs. "Don't worry about it. We were only children. It was only natural that you froze in fear. I couldn't let you get hurt so I did the only thing an older sister could do for her little sister. I don't regret what I did. Live on for me and for you. Live." Vierra says as her voice begins to sound more distant. Kanna looks at the vanishing form of Vierra.

"Wait! Where are you and Midouri going to go?" She asks concerned. Vierra smiles at Kanna. "Midouri is where she belongs, and I hope I go where I belong as well. I'm free just like you now. So live on." Is the last thing she says before she is gone.

". . . nna! Kanna! Open your eyes!" She hears in a dark void. She stirs. She slowly opens her eyes. She opens them to meet the tear filled eyes of Brutus. She lifts her hand and wipes his tears away. She gives him a warm smile. "Told you I'd be back." She whispers softly for him. He can't take it anymore and he holds her close to him. Kanna is left exhausted by all this so she has no energy to hold him back. She only kisses his cheek repeatedly. This moment goes on for a while longer. The moment is interrupted by the sound of someone clearing their throat.

"Excuse me. I must take my leave now." Allison says in her usual calm tone. No expression on her face. Kanna looks at her. "Thank you." She says to Allison. Allison only nods, and remains expressionless. They both watch her leave and shut the door behind her. Then they continue their reunion. The door is once more opened to show a very happy little Halia. She runs to both of them and holds them. "You're okay!" She says to Kanna. They all hold each other for a very long time. "I'm free. I'm finally free. Both of you saved me." Kanna whispers to them both. "Kanna? Does this mean that Vierra and Mi-" Is all he gets to say before Kanna puts a finger to his lips silencing him. She smiles at him. A real smile he hadn't seen in a very long time. He is relieved and filled with joy as well. He couldn't hold back any longer. He picks her up in his arms and kisses her gently as does she. "Welcome back Kanna." Brutus says into her hair. "It's good to be back." Kanna says into his chest. "I love you." they both say simultaneously. Halia clears her throat. They laugh at that, and then they pick her up and hold her too. "We love you too Halia." They say.
