Frisk's P.O.V

Cory dragged me put of the doctors and into the woods just outside the city. My heart was pounding. Should I really do this? "How do we know where this place i-" I began, but Cory shushed me. It was quiet. I grabbed Cory's arm and held it tight. He looked at me reassuringly, but that wasn't enough to calm me down. I wanted to scream. To cry. To do anything to leave this place. Cory began pulling me over to a clearing, where a tunnel that seemed to stretch for miles sat, out of place. I glanced over at Cory, and without warning, he shoved me in.

It was dark. I could only just make out Cory's silhouette, darker than everything else. All of a sudden, I could see. The tunnel was pretty, with all sorts of gems in the walls and a pebble path in the ground. "Aw, this looks nice," I said.

"Sure does," Cory replied. He mumbled something under his breath.

"What was that?"

"U-ur... nothing!" He blushed.

I shrugged as I continued walking, Cory alongside me. We found ourselves in a white room. "Why, hello there, visitors!" A pale girl with short blonde hair and brown eyes bounced over to us. "It's been a while since I've seen a human around here! I'll show ya around."

"And who are you?" Cory asked.

"Oh silly me, I forgot to introduce myself! I'm Shelby, a girl with only half a heart."

"What?"

"I'm dying in hardcore Minecraft and I don't have any golden apples."

"Shelby leave your One Life shenanigans until next season!" Wait what why is our boss here? Dang it, I broke the forth wall. "Good on ya," Cory rolled his eyes. Boss did it first. "Just get on with the story."

"And do it well or else you're fired," Boss said before leaving the room. Mkay back to the story. "What do you mean you only have half a heart?" I asked.

"That information is classified," Shelby replied. "Anyway, come along now, you have to see the place!"

After walking through halls I couldn't see, we arrived in a nice little village. People happily walked around, buying and trading, laughing and joking... I honestly couldn't see why people never came to this lovely place. "Pretty neat, huh?" Shelby smiled. "There are many villages around these parts, but this village is the smallest, and it is my home. I'm an orphan, although unfortunately, lots of kids are." I frowned. Shelby only looked a couple years older than myself and Cory. "How old are you?" I asked.

"Eleven," Shelby replied. She was only a couple years older.

"Oh, Cory's turning nine this year, but I already did turn nine, last month!"

"Noice."

We continued walking around the small village, enjoying every bit of it. Eventually, the sun was beginning to set. "We should get back to where we come from," Cory said. "Sorry Shelby."

"Yeah, Toriel will be worried!" I exclaimed.

"N-no! Don't leave me! We could have fun together," Shelby said, almost a bit too sadly.

"We do want to stay, but we really can't."

"Please, just for one night."

I glanced over at Cory. Although I was a couple months older, I still looked at him to be the boss. He was far braver than me. Cory shrugged with a small smile. "I'm sure one night wouldn't hurt."
