Alanna POV

I felt as though I had just completed an intense sparring session with Jungkook as I felt my heart race and I gasped for breath, but I didn't feel tired. Instead, I felt the best that I had ever felt. As I raised my head, I looked over at the only man that mattered right now. Our eyes met and something felt different. I couldn't figure out what it was, but there was something about him. It was as if I was looking at him for the very first time, but the same love I had for him was still there. I smiled, knowing that everything was going to be ok now and he smiled back.

"I like your hair." He said and I furrowed my brows.

I reached up to touch my hair and pulled some in front of my face. It was grey!

"How did...?" I said out loud.

"Your heart stopped and then we watched as your hair just turned color." I turned to Willa who answered my question.

"Coolest shit I've seen in a long time." Jimin said and we all started laughing.

"Wait a minute." Taehyung said. "Her heart stopped?" He looked over at Jin who nodded.

"Yours did too. We watched as the moon turned from red back to gray and then you both started breathing again. I have no explanation, so don't even ask." Jin said, putting his hands up.

"James, do you know anything about hearts stopping or why the moon turned red?" Taehyung asked as he began to stand up. Jungkook and Hoseok were right there to help him up. I started to stand as well with Willa and Dakota helping me.

"I don't, but the Council has been eager to know this outcome so I will share the details and see if there is an explanation." James said.

I looked over at Taehyung and there was something that swelled within me out of nowhere that I almost gasped. I felt extremely warm and noticed my heart rate start to increase a little as butterflies danced in my stomach. I wanted him. I needed him. As our eyes met, I bit my lip trying to calm myself down and somehow I knew that he was feeling the exact same way.

"Why don't we all retire for the evening. Now that we are past this, we need to figure out our next step with the Daeva. It's going to be a long day tomorrow so get some rest." James said and everyone started walking back inside.

I heard James's words and I knew that everyone was headed inside, but my eyes still did not look away from Taehyung's. He slowly walked closer to me and licked his lips which sent a shiver down my spine. He slowly let his hands travel from my waist to my low back as he pressed his forehead against mine. I was breathing heavy already and nothing had happened as I closed my eyes and felt how much he wanted me right now. His need to dominate me was evident, but this time, I welcomed it. I grabbed his hand and ran inside, dragging him behind me.

We were giggling like high school students as we bumped into someone running up the stairs and then into the room we were staying in. He closed the door behind him and turned towards me slowly.

He licked his lips again and I bit mine as he walked towards me and grabbed my neck pulling my lips to his. I tightly held his suit jacket as I pulled him as close to me as I could. I became lost in him as we hungrily kissed each other. I didn't know whose thoughts were whose or who was feeling what. In this moment, we were one person and I loved every second of it.

My hands moved up to his shoulders as I grabbed hold of the collar of his jacket and pulled it down. He let go of me only for a second to let the jacket fall from his arms and on to the floor. As soon as the fabric left his body, his hands were on me again as he grabbed my thighs and lifted me up bringing me to the bed. I sat on the edge of the bed with Taehyung towering over me bringing his lips to once again meet mine. I reached for his belt, undoing the clasp and then working on the button of his pants. I pulled his suit pants down as far as I could reach and then started moving back on the bed as he crawled over me, all while keeping our lips connected and moving in sync with each other. His tongue swirled around my mouth and my fingers ran through his soft locks. He pulled away and I instantly felt empty without his lips on mine, but it was remedied when he began to suck on my shoulder, slowly making his way to my neck. I closed my eyes and moaned a little, loving his soft lips against my delicate skin.

My fingers found the buttons to his shirt and one by one, I undid them, letting his toned chest show. He sat up, straddling me, and pulled the shirt from his body. I took in every detail of his chest and how perfect he was.

"I love you." I said as his eyes met mine. He smiled and slowly lowered back to me. He kissed my cheek, then jaw, and then my neck.

"I love you, my Luna." He whispered in my ear. Hearing him call me his Luna awoke something in me that I didn't know I had. I wrapped my legs around his waist and with all my strength I pushed him to the side and onto his back. The look of surprise on his face made me smile.

"You got stronger." He said, wide eyed.

I grabbed the hem on my dress and pulled it over my head, revealing the beautiful and of course very sexy lingerie that Willa had gifted me a while back. She insisted that I wear it tonight and I was so glad that she did.

"Fuck Alanna." Taehyung sat up and tried to pull me closer to him, but I put a hand on his chest and pushed him back down. I slowly lowered to him and whispered in his ear.

"Out there, the Alpha rules, but in here, Luna is in charge." I felt his need for me intensify and I knew he wanted to do so many things to me right now, but he stayed somewhat calm and let me do whatever I wanted to him until we fell asleep.

The sound of waves kissing the shoreline was the first thing I heard before the total blackness started to fade. It was still dark, but the light of the full moon helped me to see that there were no buildings or people around. My toes squished into the smooth sand as I walked forward. I was wearing the same white dress that I wore for the bonding ceremony and I pulled my left arm up seeing the ring on my finger and the mark on my wrist that was now quickly turning to a scar. The moon light illuminated a figure in the distance who was also in white and I knew exactly who it was as I walked closer to her.

"I know you don't have much time, but I have so many questions." I said as quickly as I could. She smiled at me and gently held her hand up.

"You're stronger now, which helps." Her voice was also so gentle that I felt as ease being around her.

"How am I stronger?" I asked.

"You are the moon Alanna and your power is the tide." She gestured towards the ocean.

"What does that mean?" I asked frustrated, but she didn't answer. "Right, more riddles. Ok then, how are we supposed to defeat Euric?"

"The blade helps him heal his body. The blade gives his body strength. But the mind, the mind is still weak." She said as she tapped her head and winked at me.

"What the hell does that mean?" She came closer and lightly kissed my forehead.

"You are stronger together." Was the last thing she said before her body turned into a light mist and vanished leaving me trying to decipher her riddles before everything was dark once again.

When I woke up, I stared at the ceiling trying to remember everything that she said. I quickly threw the sheet from my body and hurriedly walked to the desk that was in the bedroom. I opened every drawer, trying to find paper and a pen and when I finally found it, I wrote down everything that Selene had told me.

"Lana?" I heard Taehyung's voice call me. I held up a hand, letting him know to hold on. I closed my eyes, trying to remember the exact wording of every stupid riddle that she gave me. I heard the blankets move around as Taehyung walked over next to me, watching me write everything down.

Once I had written everything down, I put my hands on the desk and read everything over.

"Another dream?" He asked as he stood behind me and I nodded. "Any ideas?"

"Not completely, but clearly it looks as if Euric may be undefeatable." The ink on the page seemed to haunt me as I tried to figure out what Selene was telling me. Why couldn't she ever just give me a straight answer?

Taehyung's touch brought me out of my trance as his fingertips pulled back my hair exposing my neck. His lips brushed against my skin as my head fell against his, loving how gentle he was.

"Your hair is so sexy by the way." He said in between the kisses that he left from my shoulder up to my ear.

"I have grey hair in my 20s. Usually that's not sexy." I said, reaching up and running my fingers through his dark brown hair.

"But your hair isn't grey." He said and I turned around to face him. "It's silver and it's beautiful." He tucked my hair behind my ear and lightly kissed me before he turned around, heading towards the bathroom. "We should inform everyone what Selene told you. See if they can help, plus, I want to see just how strong you are." He stopped for a moment and gave me a small smirk.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Last night, you were a lot stronger than you ever have been."

"You probably are too. Back to full strength I would presume." I went to our bags that we had brought and searched for something to wear tonight.

"God I hope so."

Training was the first thing this morning so as soon as we were both dressed for the day, we made our way downstairs and grabbed some breakfast. I had expected looks and sly comments from anyone this morning knowing full well what happened between Taehyung and I last night in our room as we weren't exactly quiet, but everyone acted as if nothing happened. Maybe this was how it was in packs, knowing that things are very physical when you have a mate. I found comfort in the normality of it all and was excited to start training.

I found Jungkook outside already, sparing a little with Roman. When I approached, they both stopped and Roman walked away to join someone else. Taehyung had walked out with me and was now standing with his arms crossed, watching Jungkook and I.

"Morning Lana." Jungkook greeted me with his usual smile. "You joining in Taehyung or..?" He asked, clearly confused as to why his Alpha was there.

"Oh, I just need to see this." Taehyung said with a sly smile.

I could see the confusion on Jungkook's face, but he tried to ignore the weird comment and turned towards me.

"Ok, let's just run through everything I taught you so far ok?" He asked and I nodded. He came behind me and pinned my arms down, wrapping his arms around me tight. I did what I had done multiple times, dropping my knees to the ground and attempting to flip him over. It always took everything out of me to break from his grip, but today, as I flipped him over my head, it seemed so much easier and he hit the ground a lot harder than usual. He landed on his back, hard, and groaned.

"Shit, are you ok?' I asked, kneeling next to him. I heard Taehyung laughing and I turned and glared at him.

"I'm good." Jungkook said as he slowly got up. "So, you leveled up. Let me see what else you got then" He said as he brought his hands to his face, ready to spar. I did the same and tried to land a hit on him. It was still difficult trying to get past his blocks, but when I finally found an opportunity, I moved my fist as fast as I could, hitting him right in the nose. He immediately backed away and brought his hands to his face.

"Fuck!" He shouted and I was right there next to him, a hand on his back.

"I am so sorry!"

"Lana it's ok." He said, laughing a little. "Good hit! Just hurts a little more than it usually does." He put his hands down and his nose was bleeding a lot. I searched around for Jin and found him talking with someone else. I reached my hand towards him and called him over.

"Jin, a little help please." He was finishing up his conversation as my one hand was outstretched towards him and the other on Jungkook's face, looking at his nose. It was definitely broken and I felt terrible, wishing I could fix it. As soon as the thought occupied my mind, I saw a small glow emminat from my hand and the blood that was dripping from his nose, slowly made its way back to the source. I pulled my hand away from Jungkook, not sure of what just happened.

"How did you do that?" Taehyung came up and grabbed Jungkook's face, looking at his nose.

"You needed me?" Jin said as he finally reached us.

"Not anymore I guess." Jungkook said touching his nose. I looked down at my hands, trying to figure out how the hell I just healed Jungkook. I hadn't touched Jin at all, only thought about how bad I wanted to heal Jungkook.

"Hey." Taehyung said and I looked over to him. "You ok?" He asked, looking very concerned.

"Ummm ya, I feel fine." I knew we had so much to learn about what I could do and even Selene said that I was strong now so there had to be more to what I could do now. "I am the moon and my power is the tide." I muttered under my breath, remembering the words that Selene had told me.

"You are the moon?" Jin asked as he clearly had heard me.

"Selene visited me last night and one of the things she said was that I am strong now and I am the moon while my power is the tide." I looked over at him. "But I don't understand what that means."

I saw Jin trying to think about the riddle that I posed to him.

"Well, the moon has a dramatic effect on the Earth, particularly the tides. The gravitational pull causes high and low tides." Jin said.

"Gravitational pull." Taehyung said, pointing his finger as if he was trying to figure something out. "Lana, your power is a lot like a push and pull. You can use someone else's ability as well empower them. What if you can pull someone's ability and use it yourself and even give them your energy without even touching them now?" He asked with eyebrows raised.

"Like a moon does to a tide." Jin said, smiling at Taehyung. Everyone had finally gathered outside and were doing their own training.

"Dakota, can you come here please." Taehyung called for her and she immediately stopped what she was doing and joined our little huddle. "Want to help us test out Alanna's ability?"

"Always!" She said smiling at me, slightly bouncing up and down.

"Dakota, stand over there a bit." Taehyung pointed a couple yards away. "Alanna, try to make some appear, using Dakota's ability." Taking a deep breath, I tried to do exactly what I did with Jin, reaching my hand towards Dakota, imaging her power like a wave, pulling it towards me. I outstretched my other hand and the first thing that came to mind was Selene's face. I tried to recreate her to the best of my ability as I focused on the details of her face and the way her dress draped over her frail body.

I felt an energy enter my finger tips that were stretched towards Dakota and move through my arm to my other outstretched hand as the image of Selene slowly appeared. I got really excited that this was actually working and lost focus for a moment as the image of Selene disappeared.

"Was that her?" I heard Dakota say. I nodded. "Ok, now let's try the other way." She was excited to experiment with what I could do that her energy made me excited as well.

Without moving from our positions, I held my hands towards Dakota and tried to picture my energy moving towards her. I watched as she moved her hands, outlining a large stone tower. I willed more of myself towards her, testing my limits, as Dakota then created a stone wall adjacent to the tower. People started to appear on the wall, dressed in silver armor, holding bows and swords. I finally started to feel drained and put my hands down, dissolving the illusion. I hunched over, trying to relax myself as I felt a hand on my back.

"That was amazing." I turned to see Taehyung smiling at me.

"Oh, my god! You are so cool! I have never been able to create something that big." Dakota said running over to me. "Even though you weren't touching me, I still felt your energy." She couldn't stop smiling and it made me feel so much better about my position in this pack. No longer did I feel like a weak human.

A/N: Well, Alanna leveled up and was left with more riddles from Selene. We have somewhat figured out one of the riddles. Theories about the other ones?
