"War? What are you talking about?" Taehyung looked very concerned and worried. I looked away from him and stood up from the bed so I was out of his grasp. All the images came back into my head. Euric's face, Heather's body, and the cave. I tried to take a breath so that I could tell him everything. I knew I could probably show him everything that I saw, but I didn't want to put the image of Heather in his head or the pain I felt when I was hit by the Daeva.

"Does the name Cyric mean anything to you?" I asked. He shook his head. "Euric seems to be working for a thing named Cyric."

"Thing? Not person?" He asked as he started to get off the bed and walk towards me. I took a couple steps back not wanting him to get close and thankfully he realized that I wanted space.

"I think Cyric is some kind of god or demon. I can't say for sure, but call it a feeling. Euric is trying to get Selene's attention and by doing that he is going to kill her werewolves." I started pacing a little a bit and then realized that the last I remember was the cave being opened and then falling into Grayson's arms. I quickly turned to Taehyung. "The blade?" I asked. He lowered his head.

"They have it. At least, we are pretty sure they do. We got out of there just as he entered the cave. Too many were hurt and you were unconscious."

"Who got hurt?" I asked. "Is everyone ok now?"

"Ya, don't worry. Jin was close by and while he was pretty much drained, the minor injuries weren't that bad to heal on their own anyway." I started pacing again looking at the floor. "Alanna?" He stood right by me with his hands up, letting me know that he was close, but wouldn't touch me. I looked up at him, biting my nails nervously. "What happened when you were there?" I know he wasn't asking about what really happened, but rather how I was doing and what happened to shake me up so bad.

"There's just a lot going on in my head right now and you have so much to worry about that you really don't need all of this right now." I said trying to keep myself calm.

"Baby..." That was the first time he called me that and it definitely got my attention as I looked right into his beautiful dark brown eyes. "I promised to tell you everything, will you please do the same? Whatever you are going through, you shouldn't do it alone. You protect me and I protect you remember." I closed my eyes tight and looked to the ground nodding my head, but terrified at the same time. I slowly reached out my hands towards him so he could take them. When he did, I noticed that he didn't try to enter my mind, but rather, let me reveal everything to him and I loved him for that. I took a deep breath and decided to just start from the beginning.

The first image was of me talking Willa and then appearing in the backyard. I showed him the men attacking me as I was trying to fight them off, but to no avail. The images of Willa's broken and terrified face before she vanished and then meeting Euric flashed before me. As much as I wanted to hide it from him, I showed him Heather and I started to shake at the memory. Taehyung now knew about Euric's plan to get Selene to come to him. The last memory I showed him was of himself. I let him feel how scared I was when the knife was pressed against his skin and how much I wanted to wrap my arms around him when I saw him chained. I showed him the image of him being dragged out of the room yelling that he wasn't worth it. Finally, I let him feel the love I had for him and that I would do anything for him.

Taehyung let go of my hands and gently held on to the sides on my face as he pressed my forehead against mine. I could feel my tears falling down my cheek as I tried to silence my cries.

"I am so sorry." He whispered to me and I let my cries be heard by him as I felt his arms around me. I didn't care about being hit or chained up, it just didn't bother me that much. What hurt was seeing Heather. She was innocent in all of this and her death wasn't even quick. I thought about all the other people who were taken by the Daeva who met the same fate and I sobbed. My knees gave in as I fell to the ground. Taehyung fell with me and held me in his arms as I cried. He held me tight and started to rock a little as he kissed the top of my head. After a few minutes I finally felt like I could calm down and stopped crying, but I was happy that Taehyung didn't let go of me.

"That's not all." I said, remembering that I hadn't shown him my meeting with Selene. Before he had a chance to respond, I played back the images in his head.

"Why does she always speak in riddles?" He asked and I couldn't help but to laugh a little. "This Cyric guy or thing does not sound good." I shook my head and felt Taehyung fingers brush through my hair. "What do you think she was asking you to protect?"

"I have no idea, but she also said I would get more powerful and what the hell was that about the Earth and Moon?" I sat up and looked towards him who just shrugged.

"You're the chosen one shouldn't you know?" He asked with a smirk. I playfully hit his chest and then stared at him as he looked back at me. I started to feel as I did when I saw him being taken away in chains.

"I think I love you Taehyung." I continued to stare at him not knowing what to do next and waiting to see his response. He grabbed my wrists and then pushed me to the ground, holding my arms above my head, while straddling me. I started laughing as I saw him smiling. He looked down at me and bit his lip.

"So you just think?" He said as he looked into my eyes. I could feel how happy he was hearing those words from me and how much he truly loved me as well. My gigley expression turned to a serious one as I managed to wiggle my arms so that his hands were no longer on wrists, but rather, on my hands and I intertwined our fingers together as I squeezed his hands.

"I love y-" I couldn't even finish telling him before his hands moved to my face and kissed me. I quickly moved my hands to his waist and pulled him close to me. All my lessons with Jungkook were paying off as I mustered enough strength to push him to the side and then onto his back, straddling him. I broke away from him as he laughed and then slowly dropped back down to slowly kiss him, letting everything out. Who would have known that I would be here, with a man who I cared about so deeply and loved me in return, just a month ago. Even though I didn't want to, we needed to let everyone else know what was coming. I pulled away from his lips, but laid my head on his chest as he held me close to him. He kissed the top of my head and gave me a final squeeze before we finally stood up.

"Your lessons with Jungkook are really paying off." He raised his eyebrows at me as I smiled. He held out his hand to me. "You ready?" He asked me and I nodded, placing my hand in his as we made our way downstairs. When we finally made it downstairs, most everyone was sitting in the living room and smiled and greeted me as they saw me. I saw James stand up and walk over to me.

"It's good to see you awake Alanna." He gave me a small smile.

"Thank you James."

"I was just filling in everyone who is here as to what we have learned from the Council. They finally got back to us this morning." Taehyung and I sat down waiting for James to continue. "As I was saying, the Daeva seem to need humans to fuel their inhuman strength." Not knowing exactly what to do and not wanting to be rude, I slowly raised my hand, feeling really silly. James smiled and looked towards me, nodding.

"So, they're vampires?" I asked and saw everyone started to giggle and shake their heads.

"Don't be silly Alanna. Vampires don't exist." I turned to see Andrea smiling at me. I crossed my arms and sat back, waiting for James to continue.

"Anyway, they have been short of humans since the people of Clarmore tend not to enter the forest anymore. Euric, who seems to be the lead of the group in this area, is searching for another source of power. It was prophesied to them that a blade would give them power to kill werewolves. However, we are not sure as to why they want to kill werewolves as our blood is distasteful to them." I saw him turn to me. "Is there anything you can share with us?" I nodded and then stood up as James sat down.

"There is a part 2 to this prophecy that James spoke of. Apparently, a silver haired beauty will bring them power they have never imagined. We all know Selene has silver hair so they are looking for her. In order to draw her out, they are going to try to kill as many werewolves as possible." I paused and looked down for a moment. The image if Cyric face haunting my mind. "I believe that this is a war that is starting. Euric may be the leader of the group, but there is someone that he is following." I watched as all eyes were on me as they anxiously awaited my words. "There is a being, Cyric, who even Selene is frightened by. Every Time she visits me, he is somehow able to see our interaction." I saw Jin stand up and we all looked at him.

"I have heard that name before. Cyric was the demon that the Jealous Brother made a pact with so he could get the Cursed Blade and kill the beloved brother. Not much is known about him, but this goes back to our creation." Jin looked nervous and then sat down. James then stood up and walked over to me.

"The Daeva now have the blade so we must be vigilant. I will let the Council know all of this and we will keep training until we have a plan on how to stop Euric." He turned towards me, but spoke loud enough for all to hear. "Is there anything else?" I was about to say no when Taehyung stood up.

"Selene did visit her and told her that she would be getting stronger soon so at least we have some good news." He looked over and gave me a big smile.

"That is good news." James said. "It's about lunch time so get some rest and some food and we will meet outside for more training." Everyone started to get up and looking across the room I made eye contact with Grayson. He gave me a small smile as I walked towards him.

"It's about time you woke up.' He said and started to laugh giving me a wink.

"Thank you." I said and his expression turned more serious.

"Of course. Besides, it was you who helped me anyway."

"True, but still...thanks." He gave me a small smile and a nod before walking away. I turned back and saw everyone either leaving or talking with another pack member. I barely had any time with Willa so I quickly found her walking away and grabbed her. "I was hoping I could ask you a question quickly.' I asked her, pulling her to the side of the living room.

"Ya, what's up?"

"You said that I teleported us away, but how?" She started to giggle.

"How am I supposed to know that Alanna? All I know is that it felt like energy was being pulled from me and then all of a sudden, I was in my old room. I know when I teleport and that time, I didn't." I paused trying to think of how I was able to teleport. "What if you can give us energy to strengthen our ability, but also borrow ours?" I looked up to her.

"That makes sense...we need to test this out." We both started smiling excited to figure it out.

"Until we figure it out though, I really don't want to have you teleport." She said and we laughed, knowing the last time did not have a good outcome. I saw Willa look over my shoulder and then back at me. Wondering what she was looking at I turned around and saw Taehyung down the hall talking with Hosek, but he was looking right over at us. We gave each other a smile and went back to our conversation. "He is so smitten with you." Willa said.

"Smitten?" I said with eyes wide. She laughed and nodded her head.

"You know what I mean! I was so worried about him when you two first met." I furrowed my brows at her waiting for more of an explanation. "He was so angry when he found out you were his mate and tried to avoid it, but then you were attacked and he immediately went to you. Then, you guys were always at each other's throats, but now...he never stops looking at you. The last couple of days were torture for him. He never left your side and barely even ate anything." I couldn't help but to smile at her words. "I know you were confused by everything earlier, but is it ok if I ask how you're feeling now?" Remembering back to all the times I was angry at him and confused by how I felt, I couldn't help, but to smile, knowing how everything has changed and how deeply I felt for him now.

"Smitten." I said as we both laughed. I felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to see Taehyung.

"What are you two laughing about?" He asked and both Willa and I didn't say anything except for glancing at each other and laughing again. "Can I borrow her Willa?" Willa nodded and then walked away. "I felt like I have barely had any time with you in the last couple days."

"Sorry my nap was so long." I said, getting a chuckled out of him.

"I need to run into the nearest town today to help with some of the supplies here. I'll be back this evening, I promise." I nodded. "Also, it's two days until the next full moon." I could tell he was nervous. I took a deep breath and grabbed his hands.

"I can't wait." I tried to let him know that I was happy about finally being able to be bonded together, but he still looked scared.

"I asked James for some help if that's ok."

"What kind of help?" I asked. He grasped my hand and then led me into Jame's office where he was talking with Mika.

"Would now be ok James?" Taehyung asked.

"Of course." Both James and Mika walked towards us and I waited to see what was going on.

"While he can't see anything, he may be able to give us a clue if the bonding will go well or not." Taehyung said and I saw James start to take off his gloves and hand them to Mika.

"I can only feel what you will feel in the future, but the tricky part is that I do not know when you will feel it. It could be tomorrow, or a month from now." James said.

"It's something though and I greatly appreciated it." Taehyung said and then turned towards me. "Would you be willing?" He asked me. I smiled at him and turned towards James.

"What do you need me to do?" He reached his hands out and I laid mine in his. I saw his eyes turn white, as if they had clouded over. He was still and his touch was warm. I was unsure how long this would last when I started to have this ache in my chest. It wasn't a physical ache, but an emotional pain. Is this what he was feeling for my future? Or maybe, I was borrowing his power and feeling his future. The feeling got stronger as I felt a tear slip from my eye and onto my cheek. James pulled away, suddenly clutching his chest and breathing heavy. Mika held him up and handed back his gloves when he regained his composure. I looked over at Taehyung and saw the worry on his face.

"It's hard to determine what exactly it is, but I felt pain, a lot of physical pain as well as emotional pain." Both Taehyung looked at each other with worry. "However, I also felt a lot of affection and love, just like I felt with you Taehyung. I think everything will be ok." I felt like I could breath again and was happy that Taehyung looked relieved as well. We said thank you to James and left his office.

"I think training is supposed to begin again. Why don't you head out. I will see you when I get back from town." He kissed me and hugged me tightly before he turned towards the kitchen and I walked outside to try to find Jungkook.
