When Erwin and hanji came into the infirmary what they saw shocked them to the core. Standing over y/n was a masked man who was stroking y/n's hair, Levi who obviously woken up but was still serious condition was slowly sneaking up on the masked man and the masked man was unaware of Erwin and Hanjis presents. He was so consumed with the very ill girl that he was oblivious when Levi tackled him to the floor, Levi looked to Erwin and hanji for help to restrain the masked man Erwin raced over and punched the man in the back of the head. He fell limp, Erwin looked to Levi " Levi are you all right " Levi looked at Erwin he nodded his head and slowly got up " I'm a little winded but I'm fine how is y/n" Levi asked looking to the unconscious girl. Erwin walked over to her and felt her forehead to his relief she was not that warm as the nurse had claimed she was not near deaths door as a matter of fact she seemed fine " she's Okay" Erwin said with relief. Levi walked back over to his cott and sat down but just as he was about to relax he remembered the masked man on the floor, as his eyes traveled from the man to Erwin, Erwin stood up very fast and marched to the man and yanked off his mask and pulling off a good number of hairs off the man's head. Levi looked at the man's face and knew it was Kenny immediately, Erwin looked to hanji and she immediately ran to go get the military police. In about 10 minutes four MP'S came and arrested the man and took him to a jail cell. As everyone was about to sigh in relief they all heard the sound of someone vomiting, they turned around to find y/n leaning over the cott vomiting something red. Erwin raced over to her and held her hair back, about 45 seconds later she stopped and layed back down breathing heavily Erwin thought maybe that this was part of her illness that she had gotten. Finally a nurse came out to see if everything was all right she explained that the masked man had threatened her and the other nurses and doctors with a gun , she also said that when she no felt that there was a threat she came out to check on everyone. She came over to Levi and checked him out listing to his breathing his heart. She was satisfied with what she heard and went to check on y/n she saw that y/n was breathing very had and she noticed the red vomit on the floor. She put on some gloves and took a swab and ran it threw the vomit, her eyes widened when she realized what the red substance was she quickly listened to her heart she quickly but 2 and 2 together and called for the doctor, he raced out to see the nurse in panic as she yelled to him "doctor she's going into cardiac arrest " he raced over to her and pushed the back of her bed down he ripped open her gown and yelled to the nurse to get the paddles. She raced over to the cart with the electric paddles and pushed it quickly to the doctors side, he took the cold gell and squirted it on her chest he yelled clear and pressed the cold paddles to her chest y/n's back arched over and over again as he pressed the paddles to her chest. Erwin Hanji and Levi watched in horror as the doctor tried to revive the girl, finally after 3 agonizing minutes a heart beat was heard on the monitor but the situation was far from over the doctor took a tube and put it down y/n's throat they hooked her up to a life support machine. The nurse quickly drew some blood and raced it to the lab. Erwin Hanji and Levi who were all still in shock finally came out of their daze and looked at y/n breathing from the help of the life support machine, Erwin went over to his little girl and held her hand she stroked her hair and whispered things to her trying to comfort her. He had a feeling she could still hear even though she was unconscious and sedated he wanted to comfort her any possible way he could. The nurse came out with the doctor who had a clipboard with a piece of paper "are any of you guys y/n's parent or guardian. Erwin spoke up " I am " he said but had a bad feeling, "sir I'm Afraid y/n is going to need heart surgery it seems that she was injected with something we still have not identified but it seems to have done some damage to hear heart, you see when she was first injured and the knife had cut the side of her heart we had hopped that the wound would heal on its own unfortunately it did not and because of this drug that has entered her body it caused her heart to beat to fast and that happening has caused the cut on the side of her heart to reopen and its going to kill her if we don't act now" he said handing Erwin the clipboard with the words saying it was okay for them to operate. Erwin quickly signed the paper and the doctor quickly wheeled y/n to the operating room. Not often dose a man like Erwin show his emotions but when someone you love is in danger over and over again and the stress of that could easily eat at you no matter how strong you may be and that was happening to Erwin right now the girl he cherished, raised and loved for so many years was possibly going to be ripped away and now the only thing he could do was hope and pray that his little angel was going to live he fell to his knees and sobbed hanji and Levi did their best to comfort him but in a time like this there is little one can do to stop the tears of a father who may just lose his reason to live. And as they waited hours and hours something no one was prepared for happened an MP burst through the door and what left his lips finally broke Erwin "sir I'm Afraid the man we had in custody has escaped.
