You woke up to bright lights at first you had no idea where you were. But as soon as your eyes and ears adjusted to your surroundings you felt the oxygen mask on your face, the IV in your hand and you heard the sound of the beeping of the monitors. You looked to your left to see Eren, Mikasa and Armin asleep on the chairs next to your bed. You smiled to your self seeing that your three best friends were there your you in your time of need. Then as you were about to go back to sleep the doors to the Infirmary opened to reveal hanji, Levi and Erwin. Erwin speed walk over to you he very carefully hugged you and nuzzled his nose into your neck you very weakly put your arms around him. You felt something wet on your gown you noticed he was crying you went to his ear and whispered " it's okay papa I'm OK " Erwin looked at you " no y/n you are not alright you are in horrible condition and I'm going to make the person who did this pay " he stood up and looked to hanji, hanji nodded and began to question you about the incident when you mentioned the sexual assault you broke down and cried. Eren Mikasa and Armin who were now awake and Eren was holding your hand and stroking the top of your hand with his thumb. Then you began to recall the horrible pain you endouered you had never seen Erwin look so sad and angry at the same time you knew that you were the closest thing Erwin had to a family it's quite strange how it happened - flash back - you were only 3 when the colossal titan first broke threw the wall you were a very tiny 3 year old and your and that bothered your mother very much. But when the attack happened and your mother died in front of you, you hid in a very small alleyway the titans tried to reach you but had no luck then as if by the will of God the titan went down you slowly went out of the alleyway and you saw him the blond man looked at you and pitty to over his heart you were tiny, lost ,dirty and covered in your mother's blood. Erwin came over to you and picked you up you curled up in Erwins arms and heald onto the strap that came around his neck to keep his wings of freedom cape in place. His heart softened most of the boats were full and Erwin had no intention of leaving you there to die. So he put you on his horse and led you to the scouts headquarters where you were raised and well cared for most of your life-
You looked to hanji who was like your surrogate mother she treated you like the most rarest piece of gold she knew how Erwin felt about you. So she always made sure you were well looked after, fed, happy ect. So doing those things for you made her feel close to you if you were sick hanji and Erwin were there if you were sad hanji and Erwin were there if you had a nightmare you either crawled into Hanjis or Erwins bed and they would hold you close. Now Levi he was a whole different story when he came around he was not as friendly as Erwin and hanji he was just a lone wolf that just appeared one day, you tried to talk to him but he would have none of that you were about 12 Erwin was celebrating your birthday you tried to invite Levi but he never showed it hurt your feelings so bad when you went to blow out your candles you just started sobbing. Erwin being the overprotective father he was came to you and hugged you tightly he had asked you what was wrong and you told him what was bothering you, Erwin raced to Levi's room and nearly threw the man into the room. After this incident Levi wanted nothing to do with you and that had hurt you very much. But now seeing you laying helpless in a infirmary bed with you depending on the oxygen that was being provided to her and the wires attached to her body the multiple IVs the blood soaked bandages all over your body and the white gown that also had some blood on it. He felt guilty seeing you in this condition he felt as if it was his fault he had a very strong suspicion that he knew the person who did it. And he really felt bad when he remembered that he hid his suspicion from him and he felt very bad about it the guilt was getting to him and he went to leave the room. But before he could leave Erwin grabbed Levi by the arm " where do you think your going your job is far from over your going to be protecting y/n" Levi's eyes widened but said nothing he looked at y/n and he felt that if he protected y/n this would surely make up for his mistakes. "Fine I'll do it " Levi waked over to y/n and sat in the chair right next to her bed . Eren Mikasa and Armin had left to go get y/n something to drink. It had been a stressful few weeks and y/n was still very tired, as everything calmed down that night Levi just happened to be very sleepy he knew he had to watch her but his eyes could not and would not stay open he laid his head on his hand and fell asleep he slept for a couple of hours but he was jolted awake when he heard a loud crash he bolted up from his seat to see y/n also awake she was shaking and afraid Levi looked to the doors and went out them and what he found bothered him to his core on the floor next to the doors was a pool of blood and written on the walls to the left said. I am inside your walls and I have no intention of leaving Levi looked at the words and the only thing Levi could think was think this, this is hell on earth as he turned around to check on y/n he saw a figure standing over y/n stroking her hair she was unconscious and all he could see was a face of the man he once knew as his only family " Kenny is that you?"
