"What do you mean he's escaped" Erwin yelled at the MP Soldier the man looked down not knowing how to answer Erwins question "he just over powered us" the soldier said in a defeated voice his eyes facing the floor. Erwin was enraged but that rage soon died down when the doors to the operating room opened and they pushed y/n out of the Infirmary on the stretcher but this time she had a breathing tube down her throat and many wires attached to her chest and from what everyone could see a long surgical cut was down her chest and was stitched down the middle of her chest the doctors put her in the spot where she was before. The bloody vomit already mopped and forgotten about Erwin walked to her side taking her hand in his he was so overwhelmed with emotion that he did not know whether to cry or scream or be angry. Levi and hanji were just lost in thought. Levi snapping out of his trance he remembered that Kenny had escaped and he immediately got up and even though he was still hurt he ran out the infirmary doors to search for him. He ran out to the hallway to search, Levi began to think about where Kenny would go he stopped to think and, and about 5 seconds later it came to him. Y/n's room, he ran to her room even though running winded him he was motivated by adrenaline and y/n's safety he had realized that she meant more to him then he realized when he got injured to save y/n's side life he realized it then he knew he could not live without her she was his reason to keep fighting his reason to keep breathing. The day he met her she was only 16 but even though he was in his twenties at that time he knew that he loved her, he avoided her for so long to keep himself from making her his and taking her where she stood he had no clue how Erwin would react if he found out if Levi was in love with his daughter and if he found out that Levi was also sexualy attracted to her Erwin would probably kill him or lock her in a room for the rest of her life. He finally reached her door which was slightly open, he burst open through the door and he saw Kenny standing in front of her bed holding her pillow. Levi quickly pulled out his knife and charged at Kenny who still had his back turned to Levi, but as soon as Levi was about to pirce Kenny's back he turned around and with his own blade deflected Levi's attack. Levi jumped back to avoid Kenny's attack. "Why did you target y/n Kenny what did she ever do to you" Kenny smirked and charged at Levi, Levi held his blade against Kenny's blade "you wanna know why I targeted her, it's because I knew you had feelings for her and if I eliminated her from your life you would have no reason to fight and you would want revenge but the problem was you weren't supposed to know it was me I was going to try and pin it on your tall blond friend but unfortunately she survived and my plan had to change" Levi's eyes widened " you mean to tell me you wanted to kill y/n just because I had feelings for her was it because you were jealous or something!" Kenny moved his hand and gripped Levi's throat choking him "you listen to me you little punk the reason why I wanted her dead was because I don't need no little Ackerman's running around and putting me out and ruining my title or my busines plus if I don't get to be happy nether do you tell your mother I said hello!" He squeeze Levi's throat harder. Levi began to see spots but he saw his chance he took his knife and stabbed Kenny in the chest, Kenny immediately dropped Levi and staggered back he looked at Levi and with his final breaths said "I've made her into a monster" with that he fell to the floor dead a pool of blood forming around his body. Levi took a couple of seconds to catch his breath. He raced out to tell Erwin the news the attacker is gone and y/n will no longer be in danger, he burst through the infirmary doors to tell Erwin the news

A few months later y/n was doing a lot better she was up and walking but not so much that she could run or do thrilling activities like being in the scouts she was on leave. Y/n and Levi had gotten a lot closer they even started dating even with Erwin's blessing. On one night Levi took y/n into his room he could no longer resist her he needed to make her his.
