Levi was shocked to see the man who he had know from his childhood standing next to y/n's bed his hand stroking the unconscious girl he had obviously knocked her out. Levi had no idea what to do he didn't know whether to attack or slowly approach him he knew what he had to do when he saw Kenny reach for y/n's throat Levi bolted to y/n's side but even before he could reach the vulnerable girl Kenny pulled out a gun and aimed it at Levi, Levi not caring about his wellbeing still ran twords them that's when Kenny pulled the trigger and shot Levi in his shoulder, Levi who was running of adrenaline ignored the horrible pain in his right shoulder. Levi came in front of Kenny and went to punch Kenny in the face but unfortunately Kenny was to fast, he punched Levi hard in the stomach and the force of the impact threw Levi to the other side of the room he hit the wall with a loud thud Levi coughed and blood came forth from his shoulder and his mouth Kenny came and stepped on Levi's chest so hard that a sickening Crack could be heard as one of Levi's ribs broke as Kenny was about the end Levi's life by aming his gun at Levi's heart the doors to the Infirmary burst open. Kenny being quick on his feet raced to the window jumped out into the brisk night. The person who had burst into the infirmary room was Erwin and hanji at first hanji and Erwin raced to y/n's side but when Erwin heard the gasps from the other side of the room is eyes widened to see Levi laying on his back him gasping for air and a pool of blood under his body. Erwin raced to Levi's side and hanji rolled Levi on his side all that could be heard was Levi weezing and trying to get air into his lungs " GO GET THE DOCTOR HANJI WE DON'T HAVE MUCH TIME!!!!!!" hanji raced threw the infirmary to the doctors room only to find a horrific sight the doctor was dead he was siting on his chair his head leaned back with a ear to ear slit across his jugular hanji panicked she had medical training but not so much as to be called a doctor. She raced back to Erwin " commander the doctor is dead " Erwin was filled with anger and rage he looked down to his best friend who he had suddenly noticed was no longer breathing. Erwin panicked he knew CPR and he began to pump Levi's chest as hard as he could but it was not working " goddammit Levi don't make me kiss you " Erwin knew it was to save Levi's life but the thought of putting his lips on his best friends lips bothered him but he had no choice. He placed his mouth on Levi's and blew into his lungs Levi's chest rose as Erwin again began to pump Levi's chest. As Erwin was about breath for him a second time the doors to the Infirmary once again burst open to reveal Eren, when he saw Levi on the floor and Erwins hands placed over Levi's chest Eren remember the lesson his father had showed him on what to do if someone was not responding to cpr he went to the operating room and grabbed a scalpel and a glass tube he ran back to Levi and cut a hole on the side of his chest he broke the end of the tube and stuck it under his lung and blew into the tip of the test tube Levi's lungs inflated and Eren began a third round of cpr Levi violently began to cough Eren rubbed Levi's breast bone roughly the rithmic of his hand stimulated Levi's heart Erwin was extremely great full to the titan shifting boy Eren went across the room to retrieve an oxygen mask and placed it over Levi's nose and mouth " carefully pick him up and place him on the cott next to y/n. Erwin did as he was told and as gently as possible lifted the wounded captain to the cott " hanji I need you and Eren to watch over Levi and y/n while I go look for another doctor to take care of Levi and y/n. They saluted Erwin as he raced to find a doctor to help his daughter and his long time friend. Back in the infirmary hanji could not stop looking at Eren who was now checking on y/n he felt her pulse and found it to be acceptable he went back to Levi which he had taken Levi's button down top and opened it to put the cords of another heart monitor on Levi's vital areas he turned on the machine and nodded to what he saw Levi's heart was a little off but that was to be expected since he was sure to be in pain after being shot, beaten and stepped on. Eren once again took the scalpel and went to the bullet wound and dug it out, Levi's face contorted in pain as eren pulled out the bullet he took some wound cleansing alcohol put it on some gauze and placed it on the wound Levi's eyes shot open in severe pain " hanji hold him down !" Eren yelled to the girl who was in such awe of the teen. She ran to Levi and pushed him down Eren went to the medicine Locker and took out a pain killer a syringe and bottle he took the syringe and used it to suck up the pain and sleep inducing drug into the belly of the syringe and went to Levi he first put the IV in Levi's right arm and Levi flinched and was about to move his hand away but hanji held his hand down, Eren stuck the IV into Levi's right hand, Levi's eyes closed in pain then once the IV was inside the vain in Levi's hand he taped it down with medical tape he then took the clear wire that was attached to the clear tube and stuck the needle into its socket the drug quickly took affect and the pain Levi was in died down and Levi's face calmed his eyes shut and his breathing became normal. Eren wiped the sweat off his forehead with the sleeve of his shirt and sat down on the chair next to Levi's bed, hanji who was just stunned with the boy had to ask him " h-how in the world did you know how to do this you saved his life it was like you've been doing this for your entire life " Eren looked to hanji and answered her saying " my father took me to many visits with him, he really wanted me to follow in his foot steps and become a doctor so he taught me everything he knew and he made sure that I remembered everything he taught me he drilled it into my head so that's how I did this" he closed his eyes he was very the adrenaline that he had stored up in his body was now gone and he was now experiencing extreme drowsiness, he slowly drifted off to sleep the sound of the two heart monitors relaxing him and hanji looked at Levi tears forming from her eyes the sudden threat of loosing one of her closest friends to a horrific attack made her heart fill with sadness she suddenly felt guilty for always saying those things about Levi's height for all these years and now seeing the poor man helpless in the infirmary bed not looking so irritated or angry or upset, but looking pale and hurt the blood that had dried on his lips made hanji even more sad. She took a handkerchief that she had in her pocket and ran it under the sink with warm water went to Levi's side and lifted the breathing mask so she could wipe the dried blood from his chapped lips. She placed the breathing mask back on his nose and mouth and lovingly held his hand and brought it to her lips and kissed his hand she kept a hold of his hand stroking her thumb over his pale fingers she softly whispered to him " you better not die you midget " her tears landing on his hand. She looked to y/n and noticed something on her lap she slowly walked over to the girl she loved so dearly like her own child she looked to see on her lap was a rose and a letter she lifted the letter and began to read what was on it, read: like you my sweet rose your beauty and blood like a red rose oh how I wish to make you spill more blood the feeling of you breathing rapidly and your tears of fear bring me such delight for nothing more could satisfy my need to end a life but for now my sweet rose I will let you live for I want to be inside of you again and when I'm inside you again I will take my knife and make your sweet rose petals of blood trickle down your skin for my love of seeing you in agony brings me so much joy: hanji could not believe what she just read " he wants to keep her alive so he can rape her repeatedly and cause her pain and make her bleed over and over this is sick " then Erwin came through the door with a doctor it jolted Eren awake and made hanji jump the doctor walked to Levi and inspected the work that Eren had done " this is done perfectly I see that he is stable and is not in pain he is going to be fine just a small surgery is needed to place a proper chest tube in his chest but other then that he will recover, who's the one who worked on him" he asked while he took his stethoscope and listened to Levi's heart " Eren spoke up and said " it was me sir I'm the one who treated him " the doctor looked at Eren and shook his hand " my boy you are a natural born physician" Eren scratched the back of his head and said a quiet " thank you" the doctor went to y/n and took a listen to hear heart and breathing " she is also fine she just needs her IV bag replaced" he said he walked to the other side of the Infirmary and got another bag for the IV he hooked up the bag and said his farewell and said he'd be back in the morning to check on the two a clean up crew came in a few minutes later to clean up the mess of the dead doctor in the office he once used after words hanji pulled aside Erwin and showed him the letter, Erwin was disgusted by the words the sick and twisted man had wrote. He immediately got two guards to watch over the two injured scouts. As night went about Erwin went back to his desk and filled out a bunch of paperwork hanji and Eren stayed by y/n and Levi's side through the night, but at around 4 am y/n woke up she sat up and took off her oxygen mask she began to look for Levi to see if he was OK but when she saw the man on the cott in the condition he was in guilt filled her heart this man wanted her but to get to her he hurt the man she had crush on since she was 12 tears began to surface from her eyes she felt that if she sacrificed her self to this person maybe he would not hurt Levi or any of her loved ones again. So she ripped out her IV which had caused her arm to bleed severely she changed into her clothes and quietly walked out of the Infirmary to sacrifice her self. That morning hanji woke up along with Eren to their horror y/n was gone.
