Nandini entered into her classroom, all see her like she is an alien... Nandini smiled and searched for seat to sit but cursed seeing only one empty seat..

Nandini(in mind): arey yaar Nandu see one seat is left only for you he he... (then saw a person sitting beside that seat) oh No he is the same person whom I hugged in campus momma... (made a cry face) Nandu you can do it go for it.... (she slowly went near Manik and sat on empty seat beside him)

Manik sensed her presents but didn't saw her, in back side Cabir, Dhruv, mukti and Aliya were sitting. They saw Nandu sitting beside him but kept quite (no one sit beside him as he don't like it)

Now it's break time all left except manan and each FAB 5. Nandini was reading when Aliya called her

Aliya: are you not coming to canteen?

Nandu: hmm no, I had bought my tiffin...

Mukti: (laughing) you are studying engineering still you bring tiffin to collage?

Nan: No because I love my Maa's hand made food.. And there is no rule that we can't bring tiffin to collage... Even it's healthy from canteen food.

Aliya: yes you are right .. This idiot girl will not understand (said while knocking mukti's head) i m Aliya (forwarding her hand, nandini happily accepted) he is Cabir, Dhruv, Mukti and he is (pointing to boy) Manik Malhotra... We are known as FAB 5...

Nandini: I m Nandini Murthy... Nice to meet you all...

Cabir took nandini's tiffin: wow it smell so goood.... Kya hai isme??

Nan: wo carrot halwa...

Mukti: hello mister it's her tiffin give it to her...

Cabir: didn't you heard... We should share our tiffin it's good for health

Dhruv: or good for you (raise his eyes brow, Cabir smiled sheepishly)

Nan(smiling): it's OK guys let's him have it I don't mind...

Cabir: look how nice she is unlike you all... Always behind my tummy (others glared him,while nandini smiled seeing their antics)

All the while Manik was just reading his book ignoring them...

Nandini was walking on road all alone at night...

Nandu(blabbering to herself) you stupid girl, who told you to read in library when you know that if you started to read then you will not know how time flew away now see it got night, now walk all alone in this scary place...

Nandini was walking cursing herself but fear ran to her spine when she heard roaring sound of wolf...

Nan(scared): wo.... Wolf..... Where is it coming?

she slowly turned her eyes popped up on socket seeing dark black eyes... She took step back but stumbled due to rock which came under her feet, she lost balance and fell down injuring at her ankle... She closed her eyes tightly when that Wolf about to attack her... But after sometime didn't felt any pain or animal attacking her so she slowly opened her eyes only to see a handsome man seeing her bleeding ankle...

Nan whispering seeing him: MANIK....

Manik saw her hearing his name, his eyes were blood shot red, he hand were fisted tightly as if he is trying not to show any signs of his emotions.. He carefully tied his hanky around her wound... And got up...

Nandini was looking at him like he is an alien because in college he behaved like she is invisible for him and now treating her wound with so much care like it is paining him

Nan(in mind): weirdo...

She slowly tried to got up but hissed in pain and made cry face... Manik sensed her pain and within no time she was in air.... Manik Malhotra picked up her in arms and made her sit in his car delicately and he himself sat in driver seat and zoomed out......

Manik stopped his car in front of house on top of which writen as SUNSHINE ORPHANAGE.  Manik saw it and looked at Nandini who was sleeping with small pout, she looked cute like this to him but shrugged his thoughts and slowly shook her and wake her...

Nan rubbing her eyes: sorry I don't know how I slept...

Manik: Mmm it's OK... (he got out and again picked Nandu in his arms)

Nan: Manik leave me, it's OK I will manage please... (but he didn't paid any attention and walked towards door and knocked it)

Latha who opened the door got shock seeing nandini in boy's arm: Nandu beta what happened and who is this?

Manik was about to say something but interrupted by nandini....

Nan: Maa wo I got late as I was reading in library (which made Latha shook her head as she know ki if nandini started to read then will not get up sooner) then I was walking walking.... In lonely road and falling.. And got hurt in my leg, and he is Manik my classmate, he was passing through that road so helped me and got me hear... (by now trio were in nandini's room, Manik slowly placed her on bed)

Latha: (scolding tone) that's why I told you to take my driver with you but No you will not listen to me na? (saw wound) see its bleeding I will bring first aid box... What is the need of walking Nandu you should have hired taxi na... (she was treating her wound)

Nan: don't scold me, scold that rock who came under my foot and fell down (said with angry pout)

Latha glared her and said to Manik: thank you beta for helping this kiddo... Who is only big in height (Nandu whined like kid, Manik smiled little but covered it before anybody see him) I hope she didn't troubled you...

Manik: it's OK ma'am... It was my duty.... But ha you are right she is a kiddo I got to know at morning only (saying this he smirked at her while she turned her face due to embarrass)
I should leave now it's late (and he left seeing nandini for last time)

Nan seeing his retreating figure: what he think of himself? I m not kiddo I will surely show him tomorrow (and soon slept after having dinner)

Next day nandini hurriedly walking by corridor when a girl blocked her way. Nandini saw the girl head to toe, she was wearing short dress which was hardly covering her tights..

Girl: (rudely and with attitude)hay you... What your name?

Nan(sweetly): Nandini Murthy.... What's your name??

Girl: oh so you are the scholarship girl...? Who is studying in some rich people's money...

Nandini got hurt hearing her but said with confidence: yes I m the girl who study by scholarship which I got due to my hardworking... To fulfill my dream... Which is fully mine.. May be money is not mine but I got it from my hard work, my sleepless nights... And I m proud of saying I m here by scholarship...(and walked past to her)

Which made girl fume in anger...

Girl 2: arey Soha she insulted you by answering ...

Soha: don't worry dimple...she has to face consequences for insulting Soha khurana...(said with evil smirk)
