1-- Curious
The static sound of the small box type television died as soon as the old rusted antenna was twisted and set towards the broken chipped window of the ages old house.
A pair of monolid eyes shifted towards the cracked screen of the box T.V. that weighed more than its size.
As soon as a soft yet cracked melody played, the boy left the antenna and stumbled forth towards the screen coming right in front of it. His chocolate brown orbs swiftly shifted here and there scanning the screen as if he is eager to find something in there.
Park Jimin was a very peculiar, curious and different cannibal, the family had ever seen, though they rarely cared about anything except the rulebooks and good food.
Dressed in worn out clothes with a leather jacket that hugged his body in the cold, yet the patches were too many to engulf his existence against the cold and he least cared about that. What he had seen and done was too animalistic that it turned him immune to something humans are affected from.
Humans? Oh, what a perfect meal! Was all his family thought but Park Jimin was a very strange cannibal with very different thoughts about humans. Curious he was is all I could say right now.
The melody that boomed from the T.V. now held a masculine voice singing. Cracking every bit.
Darling-... Kiss-...slow.
Jimin looked down to the small remote controller in his hand that was taped and patched up at least in twenty places. Thanks to his father's animalistic nature, he had to repair the device again and again. Of course, they despised the idea of him being somewhat different and yet a disgrace to the family, but
Jimin just didn't feel right with what they did.
It was not like he was not a cannibal, the group of friends that came for hiking in the woods a year back, he had ripped all of their chests open just to have a lick to find if his favorite blood type is there or not!
Yet the way his family would chop up the humans and cook them into juicy hot foods was something he didn't liked much. Especially couples and kids, that somehow felt wrong to do. He preferred a glass of fresh blood over that cooked pale meat.
That was kinda his favorite thing about humans though except one more... They are very unpredictable and amazing species.
Jimin tuned the station coming on the screen, pointing the small controller towards the screen and the voice coming out of it cleared up a bit more, at least it stopped glitching.
Baby, I'm dancing in the dark with you between my arms~
Barefoot on the grass, listening to our favorite song~
Staring through those messed up locks of his raven hair that hung in front of his face and went down his shoulders even, Jimin inched closer to the screen reaching his hand up to it, pressing his rough palm and claw like nails against the cracked screen to the distorting image.
They were smiling, being in each other's arms, the couple on T.V. screen.
Jimin felt drawn to how their faces blossomed into between smiles.
Eyes met eyes, bodies pressed. They moved in a sync.
When you said you looked a mess, I whispered underneath my breath~
Bit you heard it, darling, you look perfect tonight~
He was curious to know why do they look at each other like that? As if there is no one else around anymore. As if that person is very...
Jimin could never understand those feelings, that only grew him more curious and yearning to know it all.
Yet the boy could only stare at the screen helplessly.
A loud crackling boom was what he heard that made the boy switch off the T.V. hurriedly throwing an old worn-out rag on top of it to hide it.
The ferocious growl was not what made Jimin look back towards the chipped wooden door of his room but the feminine scream.
And he just knew what was happening downstairs.
Fresh meal arrived.
He slowly opened the door and stepped out bending over the railing to look into the living room that looked more like a barn given a bit of dining room touch.
By dining room, I mean is a big table with big bowls and knifes to feast.
Over the table Jimin saw a figure squirming, a huge pool of wavy black hair sprawled forth to how she was thrown over the table on her face. The figure rose herself on her palms only to be grabbed by hair by the old man who looked more animal and less human.
"P-please I have nothing of your interest, L-let m go..." whimpered a smooth mellow voice yet with a hint of rasp.
And there goes Jimin's curious darting down towards the prey on the table who was being strangled by his father.
Jimin always wondered how do humans talk so smoothly. They had beautiful melodious voices and it just made him want to hear them which was a rare thing since how his family just slaughtered the freshly caught preys on the spot.
"Shut the-... fuck up." Growled the beast, he wheezed the words out between the growls that purely showed he was certainly not normal.
Jimin saw how his father yanked the girl by her hair and brought her face in the view.
And all Jimin thought was how non animalistic was she.
Something so indescribable kissed her face, Jimin knew it but he couldn't put it into words.
Maybe humanish? He thought to himself.
She was shaking badly bawling her eyes out holding onto the hands of the guy who was near to snap her small fragile jaw into two to how he applied the force.
"Please for God's sake let me go, M-my car is down the road, y-you can have it too, just p-please let me g-..." She was pleading wheezing through the sobs until the man pulled out the blade in his belts and plunged it down into her hand sticking it deep, causing the girl to choke on her words and scream loudly to the sudden pain.
Jimin just stood up there watching the scenes un folding. He was too used to seeing all this. After his parents slaughtered two of their own kids in front of him, Jimin knew better than to interrupt. Only if he didn't have chicken pox back then, he would also have become his parents' meal.
Pathetic? No! He proved himself that he is not any less of a vicious beast than his father that did earn him enough leverage to be alive.
"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT THE FUCK UP" The man yelled in her face.
The screams of the girl boomed in the room as she shook fiercely clutching onto her hand that was nailed against the table with the dagger through it.
A mid aged woman came out groaning from one door, her swollen belly spoke the arrival of another beast yet Jimin only wondered if they will let that baby live even?
She hissed towards the guy causing him to roll his eyes back into his skull.
"Eat" He growled. Apparently he had brought his pregnant wife a meal on request to which the woman hurried her way towards the girl that was shivering to the burning pain that let more and more blood ooze through the wound on her palm.
The woman grabbed the girl by hair and yanked her making her face come back in the view with her neck craned back painfully. The girl looked up towards the blinding lights flashing in her face making her teary red eyes to roll close on their own. She whimpered.
The smile on the woman's face fell instantly as she looked at the prey in front of her, she pushed her forth and turned to her husband.
"BONES???" she snarled. Obviously the woman was not happy to see a skinny meal with skin and bones. The man tried to calm her down as she became more aggressive.
"Not eating bones. Wants more." She growled and stomped back to the same room making the man groan in frustration. He looked super annoyed and much scarier.
Glaring at the girl, he decided to go after his wife first and so he told Jimin to put her in the dungeons.
Jimin slowly stepped down the stairs while his eyes never left the girl's shaking and crying existence.
As soon as, he approached her, she jolted badly scooting back but whimpered to how her hand was still nailed against the table. Jimin just reached forth to her grabbing her by her hair, of course the same way he had seen, he learnt it. He yanked her back in her previous spot making the girl gasp to how strong the grip was, by now she already was on the verge of passing out cold from fear.
"Stay quiet." His raspy voice intensified the wave of chills that already distorted her spine bones. Jimin grabbed onto the dagger stuck in her hand and pulled it out.
"Or I will hurt you... bad." Words they were or death spell, Genevieve was surely in the worst possible place ever.
