Hello guys....

I hope u all are fine..and i getting better little by little...from now will try to update regularly...i hope u guys will support me like always....

I am not giving any target for this chapter as I am updating after a month...so let's see what will be the response...

Avinash paced around the study room furiously. Anirudh and Anamika was sitting waiting for Avinash to speak. After getting to know what happened in India Avinash literally bashed everyone who is in authority. After making the necessary calls he went to Aadhvik but the latter was not even acknowledging him. Aadhvik was only looking at sid who was sitting there awkwardly not knowing what to do or not knowing what actually happened.

When Manish came down for dinner he was surprised to see Aadhvik as they were about to return the next day. But when he got to know what happened he immediately reached for his phone to call the lawyer who helped him before. But Avinash stopped him saying he will take care of it and assured he will not leave the person who is behind this.

After lot of pestering Avinash was able to make Aadhvik snap out of his own thoughts. When he realised he threw himself on Avinash crying. Avinash held him offering the comfort he needed. He looked at Aadviks hand which was bruised due to their brutal handling.

After calming him down he made them have their dinner and made them sleep. Abhi was worried for his twin that he has never seen him like this but he was glad that out of this tragedy a good thing happened that Aadhvik understood Sid needs their love and care. Even though his mind was a chaos he was happy to realise that he no longer have to choose between his twin and his younger brother. But he was unaware that the thing he is hiding now will rip him out later.....

In the study the mobile phone rang gaining everyone's attention. Avinash answered it and literally cursed the person on other side....

Avi: i don't know anything....i want him before me in 2 days...he yelled and cut the call.

Anirudh and Anamika looked at each other.

Ani: Avi...

Avi: u should have called me from there itself Anirudh...that guy has ran away...he yelled in frustration.

Ani: i know Avi...but that time my only priority was Aadu...I made sure that guy was arrested but I didn't know how he got out...

Avi: some one has bailed him out..i have asked for that person's information...I have a hunch who it will be but I will need proof...

Ana: who are u talking about Avi....

Avi: Patrick...

Ana/Ani: that news channel guy...they asked together to which Avinash nodded in yes.

Avi: when I investigated about him I got to know about lot of his wrong doings and he had lot bad company from India. And he knew for me Family will come first and if my family is hurt then I will be hurt...and these kind of cheap tricks can be only planned by him like he planned to humiliate u....he said looking at Anamika.

Ani: i understand ur point Avi...what have u done now to catch the guy ...

Avi: i have sent a request to Shivakumar to find him...

Ana: Shiva Kumar? That detective guy..?

Avi: yeah ..he can go to the depth of this as he was in police department before...

Ani: hope he will find the guy soon ...

Avi: yeah leave that for now...let's discuss about sid...did u got his medical files...

Ani: yeah...and I got to know much more than that....

Avi: what do u mean...he asked confused.

Anirudh took Karthicks picture and placed it on the table where all three of them can see it.

Ani: this is Karthick...the one whom Sid always talks about....

Anamika took the picture and looked keenly. The boy was looking merely 15 or 16. His appearance showed him as a rugged and a criminal but his eyes had a warmth and love which he was having in abundance to give but at the same time there was emptiness and stiffness on his face.

Ana: if we can find him....

Ani: no we can't ..

Ana: what but why...he will be usefull...

Ani: he is dead Ana...he said making the other two look at him in shock.

Ani: he died 4 years ago...that too in juvenile..

Ana/Avi: how...

Anirudh took a deep breath. His felt shivers going down his spine even now when he thought about it. When the juvenile warden told him he was stunned in shock. He composed himself...his brother has to know about it...

Ani: that guy...who was the incharge of the juvenile was a sick man Avi...I mean he is a real sick man...a psycho...

Ana: Ani u are scaring us...

Ani: it's the truth Ana...that psycho has sick habit of playing with the fear of children in the juvenile. He used to play with guns and the fear of the children....

Every night that man used to drink in the juvenile itself and call one boy. He will make sure that boy will see that he loads the gun with single bullet and made the boy lay on the table and he will keep the gun on the boys head and will go for the luck. He used to enjoy the fear in the boys eyes everytime he goes for the trigger. But everyday he will make sure to switch the gun which fully empty without known by the child in front of him. But unfortunately that day he took so much if alcohol and that fucking moron forgot to switch the empty gun....he completed with a shivering voice and looked up to see Anamika and Avinash.

They were looking at him like they saw a ghost after hearing him. Avinash heart was beating so fast that how that children would have suffered at that time and about Karthick.

Ana: but why Sid is so affected by him ....

Ani: because Karthick was the only one friend whom he had there...Karthick was the one who saved him from the bullies as Karthick was 3 years elder than Sid...and also he....he trailed off looking down with unshed tears

Anamika and Avinash knew there is more to it. They were afraid to know what was that but they had to know ...

Avi: also he ...he encouraged him

Anirudh gulped the lump and took a deep breath looking up with unshed tears.

Ani: kar..Karthick died for our Sid...he forced the words out.

Ana/Avi: WHAT....they yelled standing up in shock.

Anirudh nodded in yes letting the tear rolled down. When he heard this from the incharge he was no less.

Ani: it was Sid birthday...and as Sid was upset Karthick made him sleep soon and went to the incharge instead of Sid as that day was Sid's turn....

Anamika and Avinash heart skipped a beat. Imagining Sid in that place itself sent shivers through out his body that too in place of Karthick that day....Avinash sat on the chair with a thud. He would have lost his brother and he was busy hating him here. Anamika was fully in tears by now. She understood why sid gets so affected even by hearing Karthicks name ...she could even understand Sid will be blaming himself for Karthicks death when it was the pure fault of a alcoholic psychopath. After hearing everything she was not ready to hear anymore but she wanted one information from Anirudh.

Ana: Ani...did u got the information that who came for Sid's release...

Ani: i tried Ana...but those details were stored in another juvenile which is on other part of the city ....i tried to get the information about the incharge who was there when he got released as he was the one who recommended Sid's release but before I could get the info Aadu's coach called me and I went there....

Ana: it's ok ..we will get that anyhow afterwards ..go and sleep....u look so dead...she said looking at exhausted face.

Anirudh looked at Avinash. He was shattered after hearing everything. He wanted to give comfort to his twin but the deliberate plea in Anamikas eyes got to him. He decided to let Anamika to address her husband. Anirudh wanted them to take step to each other and he hoped this will be a path to it. He nodded and left from there silently.

Anamika went to Avinash who was sitting looking at no where with unshed tears.

Ana: Avi...she called him gently when he looked up at her when the tears rolled down.

Anamika stood helpless as she never saw him like that. Even on their mother's death anniversary he will be grieving but the not like this fully shattered.

Avi: mumma will be so angry on me Ana....she will be so disappointed at me...

Ana: no Avi ..she will be a proud mumma of u always...she loved u enough to not to judge on the mistakes u did..

Avi: what i did was not a mistake Ana...it's .it's sin...i failed to protect my brother...I promised mom on the day when we found out she was pregnant with Sid that  i will protect the baby no matter what happens...but no i failed to protect him...just...just imagine what if Karthick was not there that day and Sid...we..we would have lost him Ana...forever...he said breaking down fully.

Anamika who couldn't stop herself from engulfing him into her embrance cried along with him. She could understand his plight. She also couldn't even imagine Sid in place Karthick and that made her realise how much she loved Sid. Avinash hugged her midriff hiding his face into her stomach sobbed uncontrollably. Anamika silently offered the comfort and support which he needed. In that moment both of them didn't realised they were relying on eachother for comfort and solace.

In the room Sid was sitting on the windowpane looking out searching for stars and moon. But as it was cloudy and snowing the moon was no where to seen. Sid's mind was confused with so many things...he was afraid of Manish being around, his threat, and now Aadhviks change and above all the thought of what happened in India was making him restless.

He knew how cruel they will be. And he knew this will be first and last time Aadu will  be enduring this but he was afraid what if it was done by Manish to scare him. But at the same time his mind went to the scene where Aadhvik threw himself on Avinash and cried his heart out. That moment he felt like running away as thousands of times he wanted to just to do that but that never happened....whenever he wanted to cry..when ever he was hurt...when ever he was bleeding...when ever he was scared...he wanted to run to his bhaiya and hide himself in his embrance so he will protect him but that never happened...when he saw Avinash reaching for Aadhviks bruised hand he remembered how he was laying on the cold floor not even bothered to give proper care with so much bruises all over his body...a tear rolled down his cheek without his knowledge...he knew he wanted his bhaiya back then...he knew he wants his bhaiya back now also...but he used to heal himself so he will do it till he can....he don't want anyone now...he thought to himself and wiped the tears harshly and went to sleep...let's see what the fate is having in its script for the brothers....
