Thank u so much for the response on the 1st chap...i am really glad u guys liked the story...now this chapter is dedicated to someone close to my heart...but if u guys don't fullfill the target of CONTRADICTED LIVES then this book is going on hold...and i mean it....so enjoy the chapter...

Sid stood infront of the main door hesitating to touch the calling bell. The security allowed him inside as he saw Rajiv dropping him outside and they were informed about his arrival...but everyones look was on him..the whole pack of bodyguards who were there were looking at him wondering whether Rajiv got the correct boy or not.....

The guards were informed that the youngest brother of their boss is coming today...and they were informed that he is going to be 18 soon....but the boy walking on the footpath with just a backpack on his back with head low didn't looked like a 18 year old....

But what they all didn't saw was how he was scared,how he was taking baby steps towards the main door, how shivering his body was and how tightly he was holding the strap of his backpack trying to get some confidence from it....he was about to touch the bell when a voice made him to stop....

??: Why the hell he has to come here....a voice yelled from inside making him flinch and stop on his track....it didn't took few seconds for him that the mentioned HE was himself....

??: But Addu....we can't do anything....bhai is his legal guardian....another voice tried to make the other understand....

Aadhvik: do hell with the guardianship Abhi....bhai could have just ignored the call or else he could have promised to pay for his life there itself....why to bring him here....is it not enough what he did back then...

Sid felt his eyes tearing up hearing him. Those were his two brothers who loved him dearly back then...but everything changed now that they didnt want him around them...his hands were shaking and his mind was battling between pressing the calling bell and running away from here to his old life...the hell. His thoughts were interrupted when he heard his Abhi bhai speaking again....

Abhi: Aadhvik calm down...we all know what he did back then...and also he got his punishment for that....and above all we are his cousins and Avi bhai and Ani Bhai are his own brothers...it's their decision to bring him back...now calm down already...

Sid stood there numb not knowing what to do but a hand came from behind and pressed the bell. Sid was startled and looked back to find a girl in her mid 20s....

Girl: why are u standing here....

Sid was just looking at the girl not knowing what to answer her. He don't know who is she but he unknowingly didn't wanted to disrespect her by not responding her...

Sid: huh...no just...i..i..was..he stuttered when the door opened by Abhishek. He looked at the persons standing before him. He smiled looking at the girl. But his smile vanished when his eyes fell on the boy standing there who was the exact carbon copy of their mother...just the difference was he was a boy...

Abhi: di...come what a surprise u are here at this time...he said giving her a charming smile.

Ana: haa Abhi...Avinash forgot a file in home...so only i came to get it....she said but it was obviously a lie that Avinash himself sent her here to receive Sid.

Avinash was still angry on him but he can't deny he love him. They all loved him but a single thing he did changed everything...but he didn't wanted Aadhvik or Abhishek to lash out on siddharth when he comes home.. so he sent Anamika there so she could control the twins...Avinash knew Abhishek is ok to get sid there in their home but Aadhvik was not and he was making it known by others from the time they got to know about him....

Abhi: ohh kk di...come inside...he said making way for them...

Ana: come siddharth...let's go inside...she said gently guiding him inside.

Sid felt like running away from there that moment when he saw the angry look of Aadhvik who was standing shooting daggers at him. Aadhvik and Abhishek loved Shweta their bade ma so much after their parents death. She not only adopted them but also showered them with her love that they didn't felt like orphans...but killing her was the one big sin siddharth did and now he standing before them was not at all tolerating for him. In this anger and hate they couldn't see what the boy standing there was going through...

Aadhvik: i hate u...he mouthed looking at him and ran upstairs.

Anamika knew this will happen. If Aadhvik was showing this anger infront of her means what would he have done if she was not here.. Abhi sighed and turned to them.

Abhi: he is in angry bird mode di...u know him na...he said to her but conveying the message to the younger standing there with bowed head his hands clutching to the bag tightly.

Abhi: kaka...he called out a servant came out.

Abhi: show him his room...take the luggage from outside...

Sid: th..this bag only...no..no luggage...he said still looking down.

Abhishek looked at him for a few second buying his words. Then just nodded his head slightly and asked the servant to take him up...

Abhi looked at the disappearing figure of his younger brother. He saw how lean and weak he was. He just wanted to hug him tightly but something in him stopped him may be the words of Aadhvik made him to stop.

Ana: give him some time Abhi ..he will come around...it's all new to him...u know right...

Abhi nodded his head and Anamika left after that.

Sid was ascending the stairs following the servant. Sid stopped hesitantly looking at the hallway of second floor.

Kaka: what happened...why u stopped...

Sid: my room is here na...he asked showing the hallway...

Kaka: your room haven't been cleaned...so only Avinash sir told us to give the guest room to u...it's on the 3rd floor.

Sid tried to stop the tears which was ready to come out. He knew it's a lie. He knew his brothers wouldn't want him to be around their room showing his face to them. He smiled slightly and nodded in ok and they went up. Kaka showed him the guest room and left from there.

Sid looked at the room and remembered how his brothers and mother scolded him as he came here alone in his childhood...

11 years ago....

Sid was 6 years old...he was a mischievous kid who loved to trouble all his brothers. But whatever he did they loved him so much...he was the last gift of their father to them...they got to know about him in their mom's womb after 15 days of their father's death.

So they cherished him as precious gift and wanted to protect him from every possible thing which hurt him.

It was a Sunday and their mom had to go to the company for an urgent meeting which demanded her presence. Here the 4 brothers were playing hide and seek except for Avinash as he always prefer to read books especially business books...

Abhi: ashu....come lets go we have to hide before Ani Bhai comes....

Sid: yeashh..letsshh go...he said running behind Abhi.

Aadhvik was already out of their sight. God knows where he is hiding and Abhi ran to his room and he didn't saw that sid is not behind him.

Here little sid stood for a second not knowing where to go and hide. That's when their Manish uncle came there.

Manish: why are u standing here sidharth....

Sid: i want to hide uncle...but i don't know where to go...he said pouting...

Manish felt irritated. Just because of this little brat he was not able to achieve what he wanted...so he irritatedly answered him.

Manish: go up hide in guest room...no one can find u...he said casually and left from there...

Sid's eyes shined with sparkles hearing the idea. So he quickly ran up the stairs and went to the guest room and opened it. It was dusty but it will make a good place to hide. So he went in and hid behind a box.

Here anirudh was searching for them. He got to find Abhishek first and they were now going towards Aadhviks room. When they found him he started to argue that Abhi helped anirudh so its not fair...

In this argument they totally forgot their little one is not around and it's been nearly 45 minutes...Swetha came back and looked at the trio literally fighting and Avinash trying to stop them. But her eyes searched for the youngest...

Swetha: where is Sid..Avinash...

That's when the brothers realised about his absence...

Abhi: i think he is still hiding...let's go look for him bhai...he said little panicked as it's been so late that he didn't came out from the hiding.

They were calling for him by his name but here little Siddharth was fast asleep as he got bored and at last slept waiting for his brother to find him.

Swetha was panicked as the little one was missing so did the brothers...

Avi: mom...let's see in the guest room also...

Aadhvik: but bhaiya..mumma has told us na...no one should go there alone...

Avi: what if he went there to hide...let's see for once...

Swetha went up when Avinash finished the words. They also followed her up. The door was opened slightly and they went in to see sid sleeping on the floor leaning to some boxes.

Swetha sighed in relief and ran to take him in his arms...sid groggily opened his eyes as he felt his mom's embrance...

Sid: mumma...

Avi: what are u doing here Ashu...he asked little sternly...

Sid looked at him and then at his brothers .....

Sid: who is out...

Ani: ashu...who told u to come here...that too alone...

Sid: i came to hide...we are playing na bhaiya...

Swetha: but what have I told u ashu...u should not come to 3rd floor alone....and u are sleeping in the guest room...we were searching for u....she said taking him out of the room.

Sid: but i was just hiding...he said innocently...but that day he got so much scolding from all of them and from that day he didn't dared to come to the 3rd floor alone...

Sid smiled looking at the guest room. The fact that his brother said to give him this room showed how much they hate him. It made his eyes teary again. But he cant do anything now...atleast the room was not a store room like back then...there was a bed and a dresser. He put the bag on the chair and sat on the floor near the bed leaning to it and soon the jetlag took over him and he fell into a deep sleep....
