Avinash was still sitting simply in his office. He was looking at the sky blankly. Karans words and his actions had showed him a mirror what he has done in these years....till now Avinash was happy that he looked after his three brothers after his parents death...but today Karans way of handling his brother showed him that he was a utter failure in parenting and brotherhood....why not he has abandoned the youngest one of their family on his own when he needed them the most....

A lone tear rolled down his eyes. He remembered the moment he looked straight into Sid's eyes last night...it was like his father asking him that 'why did he failed to protect him....' They considered sid as their father's last gift...but they broke the last gift without considering him. It was like his own father was showing his disappointment in him. Will his parents forgive him for abandoning the child which they wanted to protect and cherish for life....he had no answers....

Avinash composed himself when one of the employees came running into the cabin not even asking for the permission. Avinash looked at him startled.

Avi: what the hell John...

John: sir...please come fast...there is a problem...

Avi: what again...he asked frustrated as he stood up to go...

John: sir...that NYC channel reporter is asking non sense questions to Anamika mam...please come...

Avinash was shocked...that NYC news channel was always against him. It was a local channel which encourages their own people to do business...it was clearly racism...but they covered it with media freedom to talk anything... And that channel owner Patrick always hated Avinash as once he wanted to invest in Varma empires...but in that meeting too he was being mean to the Indian employees working there and Avinash literally threw him out of the company...from that time the channel was always behind him...it was the same channel which telecasted a huge article on Sid's return and his whereabouts in the past...

It took so much efforts for Avinash to shut them up despite all the things happenings in the house...but now they were targeting Anamika... Avinash was furious...he should have shown that Patrick his place way before...now its time he should understand Avinash Varma's family and friends is always off limits....

Avinash entered the conference room. Anamika was fuming in anger but controlling herself from lashing out. Avinash went to the stage and took the mic from her. She looked at him and nodded in assurance giving him the stage, she stood aside.

Avi: so what's the matter going on in here is sorted out without any problem.....i know u all must have worried about the employees working here...for that i am giving my assurance that they are totally safe and the factory unit is thoroughly checked....and also my security team has found that it was an empty threat...and the action needed is done...anything else....he asked looking at all the reporters and atlast glaring the NYC reporter.

NYC rep: can i ask a question sir...if u don't mind...

Avi: as long as u stay in ur limits....u can...

NYC rep: we got some news about Sidd...

Avi: my family is always off limits for u all...so stay away...and here i am for business purpose...u can ask if u have anything related to that...

NYC rep: ohh kk...then why is Ms. Anamika is with u as everyone clearly knows she is a lawyer and she topped her university....

Avi: see i already said...

NYC rep: she is ur employer Mr. Varma... I am asking related to ur business only...why she is being ur secretary when she is a lawyer actually...and also being the princess of Datta family...she don't have to work for u...is she really working as a secretary for u or...is she working secretly as something for u....he asked in double meaning making everyone to get shocked to death

Avinash's eyes blazed in fury when he finished...he looked at Anamika who was also shocked on the statement like everyone. Then he looked back at the reporter and he took a step back seeing the fury in his eyes...

Avi: u don't have any right to raise question on a girl's dignity Mr....just get out of here before something happens...and yeah wait for my notice suing u and ur channel....now GET LOST....he shouted and the security team took the situation in control.

Avinash went to Anamika who was standing numb. And as it was already going on air live most of the channels were repeating the part where the NYC repoter talks bad about her. Avinash security team already stared to pull off all the vedio and other things going on air...but the damage was already done...

Avi: let's go home Ana...let's talk it there please...

Anamika just nodded her head and they left from there. She was worried for Avinash as already there was so much on his plate to digest. The encounter with sid last night was still haunting him...after that factory problem and now this...she was scared more that what will happen next...she knew her uncle who is also a business man will use this situation to his advantage...she knew he was a greedy man and his thrist for money... so only she opted for law when he wanted her to do business...she still remembers how he showed his anger when she started to work with Avinash as his secretary....

Avinash and Anamika was in the hall along with the other brothers...as soon as they got to know about the chaos happened Aadhvik was so angry that he wanted to strangle that reporter...Abhi was adamant on filing a defamation case on the channel... Anirudh was waiting for Avinash to speak. He knew they both were upset with the thing...Anirudh always wanted to Anamika to be in his brothers life...he has seen how they understand each other in every situations...so only he used to tease Avinash sometimes...but now the taunt from someone outsider hurted them all....

Abhi: bhaiya we have to do something.... They can't keep doing like this....we should file a defamation case on them....

Avi: no Abhi...

Addu: but why...

Avi: if i want to file case on them I would have done already...but no...i don't want Ana's name to be dragged anymore anywhere....

Ani: i know u will not leave them without consequences...but will do it soon...(turning to Ana) u are ok na...

Anamika just nodded in yes ..

Ana: I was shocked but now i am ok...but everything i am thinking about is what's gonna happen after this....uncle will be....

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON MR.VARMA.....".....a voice boomed inside the hall. Anamika closed her eyes in frustration...she was afraid this will happen next...her uncle will try to use this for his advantage...she have to do damage control before he make more worse....

Avinash looked at the door and in came Vishweshwar Dutta....Anamikas uncle who was her guardian after her parents death. He was a small scale business man but a cunning one who will use the situation to his advantage. Avinash very well knew about him and he was keeping always at place. But now he was answerable...his daughter's character has be questioned publicly because of him...he will go overboard....

Brothers looked at him shocked and annoyed. Anamika tried to stop him.

Ana: uncle first listen to me...the situation is under control...

Vish: what is under control... huh..what is under  control Anamika...u guys can pull out the vedio and the pictures from the internet...but can u pull it out from the minds of crores of people who watched it live....

Avi: i know Mr.Dutta...this shouldn't have happened...but i can tell u everything is alright....

Vish: ITS ABOUT MY DAUGHTERS LIFE MR. VARMA....he shouted and a gasp was heard from the door. Everyone turned to see Sid standing at door with fear in his eyes.

Siddharth who came back home with Shankar along with Karan and Karthick. He was still holding karthicks hands and was in his own thoughts. Shankar was tensed how to tell everything to Avinash infront of Karan as Sid was not ready to let them go...but when they were about to enter the house they were stopped by the loud shout of Vishweshwar.

Because of the loud shout sid flinched badly and jerked away his hand which was holding Karthick. He came out of his trance and looked at them confused and at the same time they gained the attention of the people inside.

Avinash saw Karan and Karthick with sid and got confused. But with the looks of sid it was evident he was scared of the surrounding. He was literally shivering. And also he saw how Mr. Dutta was looking at sid and he didn't liked the disgust in his eyes for his brother.

Avi: Abhi..addu...take Siddharth to his room...and kaka..guide Karthick and Karan to my study...i will come soon...

Abhi nodded and went to Sid. He looked at his brother. He was looking so scared. Abhi was confused that what made him so scared as he was good when he went out with shankar...and also he didn't knew who was the other two boys...but he gently guided sid towards the stairs..

Sid silently went with him not wanting  to answer any of the questions if they ask..he looked back at Karthick once again and went upstairs... Shankar also took the other boys to the study as per Avinash's orders...

Vish: so...here is the little prince of Varma's...oops...the assassin prince...huh...

Avinashs eyes blazed in fury when he heard the words.

Avi: one more word about my family and u will have to face the consequences....he said in a calm tone which sent a shiver down his spine.

Mr. Dutta composed himself as he don't want to go overboard and get the wrath of Avinash...he was here for a deal and he will get it done anyhow...he looked at Anamika who was glaring at him but he caredless.

Vish: i want justice for my daughter Avinash..

Ana: but i didn't asked for anything...

Vish: u keep quite Anamika...i am here as ur father...my daughter's character is questioned publicly...it doesnt involves only u...our whole family...

Avinash closed his eyes in frustration...he was losing his patience minute by minute. Anirudh saw that spoke.

Ani: so what u want us to do Mr. Dutta...

Vishweshwar Dutta slightly smirked. Finally one of them has said the exact words he wanted to hear and now he will toss his coin...head or tails he will win...

Vish: Marry her...

Avi/Ani/Ana: WHAT....they shouted at him getting shocked...

Mr. Dutta closed his ears sarcastically.

Vish:uff...my poor ears...don't shout...i think ur brother will get scared Avinash...he said looking at the stairs and as if on cue Abhi and Addu came down running as they heard them shout.

Abhi: what happened bhaiya...

Ana: are u in ur senses uncle...what the hell are u talking about...

Vish: Avinash...my point is only one...her character has been questioned publicly and too related with u...so u can only rectify it....

He paused for a second and looked at everyone for once.

Vish: marry her and shut them up....

The brothers were shocked. They didn't anticipated a situation like this will come...they didn't knew what to answer him. Anamika was dumbfounded as she never thought her uncle will trick them like this...she was thinking he will be asking for a deal with Varma empires or shares in it...but never in her dream she thought he will ask like this....and they were shocked when they heard

Avi: ok i will....
