Elisa Hawthorne 

I sighed after closing my apartment door, kicking off my heels and my bra. That was the best feeling in the world after working as a secretary with a boss who doesn't give a shit about how a girl feels with running around in heels all day.

I walk into my medium size apartment, my old green couch that looked like it belonged in my grandma's basement was suddenly extremely comfortable. I sat down after taking off my skirt, throwing on my oversized t-shirt and tossing my blouse at my dining room table.

After an hour of watching TV, I decide maybe it's time to join the world of the living, I get up and start heating up a tv dinner, pushing back my rose gold hair back from it's once neat bun. I push the button on my answering machine, three missed calls.

"Hi Elsaaaaaaa, this is your favorite best friend, Jamie and I are going to the bar tonight, you should come! Text me since you never answer your fucking phone! I love youuuu." I sighed and pulled out my phone, turning it on and get blasted with missed calls and text messages from Kim, my best friend and Jamie her wife.

"Miss. Elisa Hawthorne, we wish to contact you ab.." I grunted in anger and deleted the message, my dad wanted me to come to his wedding, I looked at the  picture hanging up in my room. My mom was out in California after divorcing my father who cheated on her with some woman in his company.

"Elisa Hawthorne, congratulations! Your number has been pulled for the Ski Lodge get away for one whole week! Clear your schedule and dress warm for a fun pack filled adventure! Contact us to fill out your information and to let us know you received this message!"  I started jumping up and down after the shock of me winning something was over, I won a free vacation away from my busy city life! I texted Kim and Jamie to get their asses ready, we were going out to celebrate and to meet me at Johnny's bar.

I have to admit, I looked sexy as hell. My blue dress was tight against my curvy body, I had a bit of a tummy but this dress flattered it and don't get me started on how it makes my ass looks. I once again put on my death heels since they were the only nice shoes I had. My hair was down to the middle of my back and was curly from the braid I had it in after my shower. 

I finished putting on my make up and grabbed my keys, phone and wallet walking out the door. As I was locking my door my neighbor walked out. He was an extremely sweet guy and he was attractive as well.

He was Italian, he was originally from Italy and then he moved here to New York for a better life, his hair was black and always pushed back, he had chocolate brown eyes and his skin was a nice tan color. He was around 6'1 and me being my 5'9, he was a slight giant to me. He looked up at me from his mail and smiled.

"Hello Elsa." His deep accented voice said friendly to me

"Hey Markus." I could feel my face start turning red.

"I got some exciting news, I'll be away for a while, I'm going to a ski lodge get away for a week." He smiled and showed me a letter from the same company that called me.

"I..I got accepted for that too!" I said excitedly, I smiled wide, I would be on a trip for a whole week with Markus Romano and maybe even get to know him more?

"That's amazing Elsa! I can't wait, should we meet later tonight and maybe discuss the trip? I'm not very good at packing." He chuckled, I sighed softly and smiled with a nod. He really wasn't a great packer, when we met his suitcase was bulking with clothes and his boxes were mixed together, I had to show him the nearest china shop.

"That sounds perfect, I'm actually on my way to celebrate with Kim and Jamie at Johnny's bar." He smiled and nodded, giving me his phone number, he waved and walked back into his apartment. I squealed and started sprinting to my car. Which only landed me a nice meeting with the floor.

I ran into Johnny's bar with a huge smile on my face, I sat my happy ass down at table number 6, the usual meeting place and looked at the two hottest lesbian lovers you have ever seen.

Kim, her hair was flat for once, opposite of her regular poofed up hair. She had dyed it red for her wedding to rebel against her parents, I loved her funky spirit. Her skin was a light brown which brought out green eyes. She was wearing a red shirt, which pushed her breasts together, she was wearing a black pencil skirt and her blood red heels.

Her wife, Jamie, was her better half, she was more professional. Her hair was also dyed, blond with brown highlights, she was wearing it in ballerina bun. She pushed her black glasses up and fixed her black dress before I walked in. She always believed in looking professional but stylish at all times.

"Well look who is all happy and shit, did you get drunk early or something?" Kim laughed, sipping from her beer, I rolled my eyes and tsk my tongue at her.

"No sexy bitch! I have exciting news, I got excepted to go to the ski lodge get away and Markus is going too!!!" I squealed as old John walked up beside me with my usual beer in hand.

"Never thought you would be that excited to see me Elsa, I knew I still got it." He chuckled and put the beer in front of me, his wife Gilda and him have always been so kind to me since I moved here.

"I am happy to see you John, but I also got a week vacation to look forward to." He smiled and patted my back, giving me an extra beer and nachos for free to congratulate me.

"Damn girl, you mean that sexy man that lives next to you and the guy you talk about non stop?!" Kim, whom was clearly already tipsy from one beer giggled out.

"Oh darling hush, don't embarrass her, she clearly already had enough to blush about." Jamie laughed at my blush, she was extremely fun when she isn't at her job, then she is a bitch.

"Awww, babe, I'm just playing with her." Kim took another swig of her beer and stole my nachos. We didn't even notice the news blaring quietly in the background.

"This just in, the Yeti Legend Ski Lodge is having a get away for a  group of 12 people joining them for a free week away from their normal lives. Due to the many disappearances and deaths at the lodge, they have decided this is the perfect way to boost their business."
