"Pre-trial? What's that?." Sunghoon asked as all of them aside from Heeseung and Jungwon are inside the cafeteria, eating.

"It's a trial we do every year to know who will compete to the gods and goddesses' Trial. Every year the pre-trial is set by the Elders and Professors and the Elders together with the HASC picks on who would join the pre-trial. If 12 students wins then they'll be the one who'll compete." Sunoo explained.

"Why do you compete for the Trial? What do you get?." he asked again as he stuffed the food into his mouth.

Riki suddenly got excited, "Glory for the academy and we get to go on a 3 days trip to the Magic Island. The island only appears once a year for 3 days that's why competing for the trial is worth it."

Sunghoon stopped eating midway when he heard about the island, "Magic Island? Seriously? Who named it that way?." He curiously asked and earning a weird stare from his friends.

"What? I was just asking geez."

Jake coughed as he was trying to divert the attention which Sunghoon was thankful for.

"Anyways forget about my question, so who gets to join the pre-trial? It sounds exciting."

"It actually depends, as of now the Elders and the HASC are in a meeting to determine the players so," Jay shrugged his shoulders, "..we just have to wait for them to announce it. I think it'll be tomorrow or so."

Sunghoon nodded his head and they continued talking peacefully. While on the other side their talk wasn't a peaceful one.

Heeseung pinched the bridge of his nose as he was trying to calm down and stop himself from burning the whole room.

"Hyung, maybe you can just drop.." Jungwon stopped himself from finishing his sentence when Heeseung silently looked at him.

"Stop being irrational, Heeseung." Namjoon said but the younger only looked at him ridiculously.

"What do you mean by irrational, hyung? Sunghoon is a human for god's sake, how could you let him participate."

"Exactly our point, we let him participate because he is not a human.."

"How do you know he's not a human, huh?." Heeseung asked as he looked the elder straight in the eyes.

As the other members of HASC saw this scene they chose to stay silent. Heeseung looked up to the Elders and respected them now that he's talking back by one of them and looking at them straight in the eyes with a dark aura they know that if they speak a word shits about to go down.

"Are you losing your braincells?. Heeseung, no human can go pass through our barrier and Bang Sihyuk said that he's a late bloomer." Namjoon calmly explained.

Heeseung scoffed, "Then more reasons for him not to join, you said it yourself he's a late bloomer. The pre-trial is dangerous for a late bloomer like him."

Namjoon massaged his temple and kept himself cool. As Jin saw this he sighed and looked at Heeseung who was still surrounded with a dark aura.

"Heeseung-ah, you can't be biased. All of us chose Sunghoon to join the pre-trial and majority wins so technically you don't have a choice..."

"I said NO!!." Heeseung shouted as he slammed his hand at the table and they were surrounded by fire making half of them flinch.
