¶1§

"You're all here because you'll be sent to Aradoun. No buts," Malacefint eyed us as a pleasant grin danced over her lips. All of us rolled our eyes but kept it hidden. Mal was the first to speak up. "Bit mother, they'll not treat us good. We're from the Isle, remember?" Her mother scoffed, waving her hand in front of her face, showing Mal aside.

"I know, Mal. That's why you're going on school there--" I cut her off. "We're going after The fairy godmothers wand, ain't we?" I said, looking at the mistress of evil blankly. Malacefint stared at me in shock before stuttering out her answer. "Yes, and how come you know this?" I chuckled darkly and straightened my posture in the chair.

"I heard you and the other villains babbling about it yesterday. You are known as a dragon. You speak loud." I said, smirking softly at her reaction. "No, I'm kidding. Well, not about the whole hearing thing, but anyway. I was dipping outside here and supposedly heard your conversation." I said while looking at my nails, not caring about her face.

I felt Mal eye me anymore suspicious. I sent her a side glance, and she looked again at her mother. I stood up and walked over to the fridge that stood a few steps away from where I sat. The Evil Queen looked upset about something, but I didn't bother. Instead, I turned halfway and locked eyes with Maleficent.

"Know this, hurt your kids when they come back, and you'll all be dead," I say and vanish.

I am sitting at a bench, just thinking. Just then, I hear crackling. I jerk my head up, annoyed that anyone would have the guts to interrupt me. I stand up and walk over to the source of the sound. There I was met by the sight of Uma and her gang. I raise an eyebrow, crossing my arms over my chest.

"So you must be the octopus daughter. And captain hooks son, eh. So you're the beast killer's son?" I noted while letting my eyes wander over them I turned. "I'm Blood, but call me Draci," I said with a smile. Not wholly accurate, but still. "And why would we care?" Uma said coldly. I shrugged. "I dunno, your issues," I said and walked away. I could hear them whisper about me, but I didn't care. We wouldn't be seeing those guys anytime soon.

I came back to my small hut and stored today's catch on the same shelves. I took off my jacket and made my way to the dirty show that hung over a not-so-good bathtub. I let the warm water pour over my body; it slowly soothed the slight wounds I had over my body. Some were bigger than others; they looked like claw marks and bite marks. I didn't even know How I got them. I wake up with them.

It was about 7 in the morning when a knock woke me up from my sleep. I groan and stand up. I snap my fingers, and clothes appear on me in no time. I walk over to the door, swinging it open with an unbothered look on my face. So there were Malecfint's henchmen. I raised an eyebrow, the first henchman coward slightly but tried to keep his posture. "Yes, sir?" I said, getting more impatient. "uh-- the mistress wants to see you, stat" he finally got out. I tilted my head. But then I sighed and stepped towards the henchman, closing the door of my small hut behind me.

"Well then go, ill be right behind you," I said and waved towards Malecefnts castle. Maybe you can call it; I don't know. We enter, and the henchmen leave my side but stand at the door. Maleficent stands with her back against me. "You wanted to see me, Mistress?" I said, not tempting any fear in my voice. "Ah yes, I did. You know you'll be going to Auradon to retrieve the fairy godmother's wand. I want you to be my backup in case Mal fails." she says with a slight smug on her lips. I sigh and nod, saying, "I will, but don't expect that ill is better than your daughter" before looking at the henchmen's, they let me pass, and I'm out of her place.

The sight in front of me makes me raise an eyebrow. Here are both Curella di vil and Jafar's sons, and they are fighting like children. Carlos stops when he sees me and taps Jay's leg. Jay looks up, and I and a smirk appear on his face. He let Carlos go and strides over to me. I hold my ground, only giving him unimpressed glances of how close he is to me. This seems to irritate him as he steps away, head facing slightly towards as if in shame to not active his goal. I snicker at sight. "To be two of the most feared villains kids, you sure behave like children's," I chukle.

The boys looked down on the dirt, both in shame of what they had done and looking bad in front of me. "Aw boys, don't look so ashamed. I would say I would not win a small fight with you, or maybe I would, that's not up to me," I say, and in one swift motion, I am standing right in front of them, only a few inches from their bodies. I place a hand on their shoulders. they look at me in wonder and surprise. "There's the looks I was looking for" I beam and retract my hand to my sides. Jay smiles, and the same does Carlos.

I then hear footsteps behind us and slow breathing. I turn around to face Mal. She is standing there with her arms crossed over her chest, a slightly impressed look on her face. "Hey," she says in a smile. I nod curtly before giving her a knowing smile. "You did well with them; you sure you shouldn't be the leader here instead of me?" she joked. I chuckled and shook my head. "Nah, not my thing to lead others," I said truthfully. Mal raised an eyebrow. "But everyone on the Isle would want to rule something.." she trailed off before her lips parted as if a sudden relation hit her.

"Btw, who Are your parents?" she said. I shrugged, showing that I didn't know and didn't care either. I heard a soft gasp from behind Mal, and it was Evie. I smiled softly at her, and she smiled back. "What do u mean you don't know?"Carlos said. I give him a small and sad smiløe. "I've never met them, only heard about them. But no one mentions their real name, but they go under.'Ancalagon the Black and Idril Celebrindal' one elf and the other one a beast with black scales and an obsession with death." I say as my eyes wander to the night-black sky. We could not see the stars, but I had better eyesight than the others so that I could see them.

Evie then stepped forward and placed a hand on my shoulder. "Your parents seem great, but I can't say I've heard about them before," she said. I nodded before turning my gaze to Mal, who seemed to be in thought. "We will all five go to Auradon together, and it's best if we learn to work together. I know we are friends, but none on the Isle care about others other than themselves. You four are an exception. I've been here long before your parents came, but at the same time, I am at your age, only wiser and more expensive." I trailed off, looking at Mal with inactivity. "Your mother is responsible for my parent's death; she wanted to be the one who rules the Isle, the whole world. So my dad offered to help her, only to get stabbed in the back." I sigh before standing up.

"I don't hold any grudge to her daughter, don't make me regret it. I will be your backup. I will stay by your side till the end, even if my blood will be spent" when I finished my little speech, the rest of the group was in bewildered silence. I smiled softly before disappearing into a cloud of smoke.
