Metropolis; July 4th; 12:00 EDT

Icemaiden is attacking shoppers at Metro Mall, many of them running in fear only to be frozen. One man stares at the maiden from the balcony he's standing on in shock.

"Enjoying your shopping time?" the villain questions rhetorically, then freezes the man. "I had plans on getting the latest Jimmy Choo's," she then walks up the stairs beside the frozen man. She looks down at the other mall goers and takes aim to those below. Suddenly a Bat hits her in the side. She turns to the area where the hit came from and she mutters to herself. "Meddling brat, where's your super parent," she says, as if she's expecting it.

From above, a black shadow is over her head. However what lands on her isn't the Superman, but rather Mocking Jay. Decked out in red and black tactical gear. Knocking the ice villainess down, then throwing a swing to her side knocking her to the ground.

"I can't believe I have to fight the brat, rather than the real thing. I'm highly disappointed," Icemaiden stands back up, aiming her frost covered hands at Mocking Jay this time.

"Sorry to disappoint ya honey, but I'm kinda in a hurry here." Robin dismisses, despite the fact that the hand is frosting up.

"Kids." Icemadien says in annoyance. "Always in such a rush."

"Sorry, but I wasn't talking to you." Mocking Jay says in a light tone. Icemaiden looks confused, so MJ points behind her. Only to see Superman arrive with a flying punch to Ice Maiden's face, effectively knocking her out.

"You excited about today," Superman asked his young ward.

"Oh, what's today," MJ asked a fake confused look upon her face.

"Seriously," he asked.

"Kidding," MJ responds with a giggle.

"Come on kid. Let's go," he says grabbing on to the young woman.
