I took a deep breath and got out of my car. I walked up to their house and rang the doorbell. As I waited for them to open the door I just looked down at my feet while shuffling around. Finally I hear the door click open. I look up to see that John answered the door. Damnit... John put a smile on his face and let me inside. Inside was warm, bright and loud cause they're playing music. John's smile faded away when he asked me "So, I heard you went to the hospital a few days ago. Is everything okay? What happened?" Since when did he actually care? Whatever. "Everything is fine. Nothing happened. I'm fine." I replied reluctantly. John sighed and said "Whatever you say so. Oh, by the way I'm really sorry about Saffron." I stood quiet for a sec and replied "Whatever, man it's fine." It sucks to have him here. It really does. I still haven't really gotten completely over him. Whatever. Out of not where a familiar voice calls my name "Dave...?". Jade comes running down the hall, hugs me and says "Oh my gosh it's been forever!" I smile, hug her back and say "It's only been 4 years." "That's like forever in girl years!" It sucked that Jade and Rose didn't go together same college as John and I, but we all talked almost everyday. Jade grabbed my hand and dragged me to their living room where Rose was sitting on the couch. John followed behide us and sat next to Rose when we got there. Jade had me sit on Rose's other side while she sat next to me. Rose grabbed my hand and gave it a quick squeeze. I notice she had her choker on. I flashed a quick smile at her and then took of my jacket. We all sat in silence for a few moments to take in the fact that we were all together in one room for the first time in forever.
