The soldiers were distracted trying to assess the situation when Alan takes the opportunity to fight them off with surprise help from Rachel and Haruto from behind. Rachel and Haruto help Alan to get up to his feet when Alan asks whether they have been successful in enacting their part of the plan to which they nod in unison. The duo had surreptitiously gained entry into the facility when Alan had posed as an officer to deliver Shingen and had been documenting the entire facility's workings with Haruto as her guide owing to his previous experience as a captive.

Ishii along with Kitano hurries off into the adjoining passageways to escape the ensuing chaos. Alan tries to follow them but Rachel requests him to set the prisoners free from their cages which is what they aimed to do.

"But what about that bastard? That monster needs to be held accountable for these crimes."

"We will get another chance Alan, but first, let's escape out from here while we can." Rachel said.

"Fine! Haruto, you are going to release the prisoners"

"But there are way too many levels and rooms to cover on such short notice" Rachel interjected.

"Okay understood, so we split up."

"And what about him? Are we just going to leave him here? Rachel said pointing towards Shingen held captive inside the glass, now barely conscious, jostling uncontrollably.

"Have you gone insane? He's a monster just like the others here."

"No, he's a victim just like all the others here. We have to help him."
