As Rachel watches helplessly from outside she receives an unexpected radio transmission from Alan who declares that he has been successful in launching the missiles as the morning sky is gradually covered in abyssal oily dark smoke. With a pair of binoculars, she notices the creature's onward rampage pummelling through Alan's armada who are trying their best to halt the creature's advances. As the facility finally collapses on itself Rachel loses all hope and in despair breaks down in tears, when suddenly she notices a huge explosion amidst the rubble. 

A winged silhouette carrying the limp unconscious body of a man swoops in near Rachel. Terrified, Rachel runs scared but recognizes that it's Haruto, lying unconscious at her feet. She realizes that the winged creature is none other than Shingen himself, albeit heavily transformed with large fangs dripping with blood, bloodshot eyes, long sharp talons, a multitude of serrations running its course on his body, and two wings sprouting from his back wielding a katana on his left hand.

Shingen shows his gratitude and flies off to face the plethora of creatures heading towards the town. With the smoke covering the skies the surroundings felt like new dusk beckoning Shingen a creature of the night to start a bloodlust-filled rampage tearing through the minions as he comes face to face with the towering behemoth. Shingen fights with all his might, swivelling his sword left and right as the creature tries to fight back tooth and nail. The creature imbibed with Shingen's vestigial energy gains leverage on him but Shingen manages to dodge its incoming barrage of attacks. As the battle rages on Alan and Rachel rendezvous at a safe spot with Haruto sent for medical attention, they watch helplessly the battle of the titans.
