"Here you go.." Narina said, setting a tray down with tea and a tray with snacks. "Sorry about the less than welcoming attitude, I've had a long day.. and it's kinda out of place when somebody just walks into your home and says.. "hey I'm your fiance." especially.. well.. since we're both.."

"Th-thank you." said Mitsune, picking up a cup of tea, and a plate of snacks. "And, you weren't a girl when you were promised to me."

"How did that happen anyways?" Narina asked.

"In Ryuu culture, if our tribe leader has a best friend, a brother in arms, if that person has a or grandson, and the other has a daughter granddaughter, or the other way around, they are automatically engaged from birth."

Narina frowned. "So.. Wild Dragon.. I mean Gramps.. he was friends with your pops? Wait.. so dad.. so.. How old are you?"

"Your age.. I was born later in father's life."

"Then shouldn't you be pledged to my dad?" Narina asked.

"Tradition dictates at least only a 4 year difference in age." said Mitsune. 

Narina glared into the distance. "Damn.. did Gramps think he could just hand me off without asking me?"

"No.. I think his words were, 'That kid's free to make his own decisions, he's living among humans, and that's how it should be.'" said Mitsune. 

"Damn straight." said Narina. 

"What a load of crap!" The boy from earlier had not touched his tea or snacks. "You dare tread on our traditions like that? You WILL marry Mitsune, and show your respect!"

Narina frowned. "Um.. so I'm taking you've got nothing against gay marriage.. "

"Don't mind Garac." said Mitsune. "He has a heavy respect for tradition, and still fails to understand that you have grown up in a differing environment."

Narina nodded. "It's cool, I think after battling an super powered planet busting monster from beneath the earth, I'm not fazed much anymore by anything."

"Garac, Yukata-san was nice enough to provide us with food and drink, please don't dishonor her." said Mitsune.

Garac frowned and sighed. "Fine... Itadakimasu. "

Mitsune put her hands together and said the same quietly. "Itadakimasu.."

Narina blinked with surprise. "You.. er.. do that too?"

"Do what?"

"Say that before you eat." said Narina. "I-I thought my family were the only ones who practiced Japanese traditions."

"The Ryuu Tribe takes heavy pride in our Japanese origins." said Mitsune. "We are all fluent in the language as well, and many of our children don't learn English till they are a little older. "

"English.. yeah, that's what the common tongue was called during the 21st century, before the war.." Narina muttered. "Well, if you can speak Japanese.. then.. I guess I finally have somebody else to talk to in it besides my mom and dad.. eheheh.."

Mitsune smiled, then she abruptly switched to Japanese. "So you can understand me then?"

Narina nodded, and responded back in Japanese. "Yep, you bet! Though I'm not sure how my fluency compares to yours.."

"Oh this is ridiculous!" Garac groaned. "While you two have your tea and exchange stories, our families are out there dying!!"

Narina's eyes flashed. "Wait.. what is he talking about?"

"The reason why we're here." said Mitsune. "We didn't know who else to turn to.. You are a hero, and you are,regardless of where you were raised, one of us.. The Ryuu villages, th-they were attacked."

"Attacked?" Narina said.

"Not attacked, so much, as made the subjects of complete Genocide!!" Garac roared. "Those ANIMALS from the royal family.. they sent in their Iron Forge.. the legion of Androids they created to wipe away things they believe to be blemishes upon the Earth!!"

"Th-that can't be right!" Narina stammered. "The king's a jerk! I know, I'm trying to overthrow him but.. he's my uncle.. he's RELATED to the Ryuu people.. he might even have the same powers that just haven't been awakened.."

"Well it's happening.." said Mitsune. "Women and children, men as well. All of them are being killed in droves. We need the Powers Society to help us.. not just them.. your Academy. You forged the alliance between them to oppose the King's reign correct? They could help us!!"

Narina looked away slightly. "To be honest.. we're still setting things up. It's frustrating, but the most I could probably gather up would be around a couple of the former emperors, and maybe some of my friends in the Powers Society.. the problem is.. the Powers Society is also partially under the authority of the World Government, and I have to gain their support before we can really get the rebellion on the way..and.."

Narina began to tear up, as she quivered with the weeks of frustration and stress she had been dealing with that was finally surfacing. "I WRITE AND I WRITE TO THOSE JACKASSES!!! AND THEY NEVER RESPOND!!! WHAT THE HELL IS WITH THEM!!? CAN'T THEY SEE THERE PEOPLE DYIN- s-sorry.. I  kinda went off there.."

Garac stared at Narina with astonishment. "You.. really do care?"

"Why shouldn't I?" Narina muttered. "Why the hell do you think I chose being a hero over opening my own bakery?"

"You said you could gather some of your friends correct?" said Mitsune, taking Narina's friends. "You and your friends? That is all we need! Please. The Ryuu people are powerful but we're not strategists like the graduates the Academy has trained.  Just you and your friends would be more than enough.."

Narina bit her lip.. then nodded. "I'll request to take a courtesy call mission. That's what they call these kinds of things. After that.. I have a few calls to ma-.... hey.."

Narina sniffed the air suspiciously. "You smell that?"

Mitsune shook her head. "your dragon scent appears to be a little more sensitive than my own.."

Narina's eyes widened. "Get down.. "

"Wha-?"

"GET DOWN NOW!!!" Narina grabbed Garac's and Mitsune's heads, and forced them to the floor, just as a tremendous blast of fire exploded through the cieling, missing the trio by inches.

"Ah.." said a metallic voice. "It appears I missed.."

Hovering in the sky, above the massive gaping apartment which now had no cieling, was a large mecha-like android, that looked as if it might have come from a manga. It had a dragon-like neck and head, a black and white body with glowing red eyes and a glowing meter on it's neck, it also had a long tail that whipped through the air.

Narina shook her fist at the dragon android furiously. "BAKA BAKA!!! YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH  FURNITURE YOU JUST WASTED!! I HAVE A BIG SALARY!! BUT THIS STUFF WAS CUSTOM MADE YOU BAKAAAA!!!"

"I am one of the elite warriors of the Iron Forge." said the dragon android. "I am Scalaknight.."

Narina who had definitely heard of the famous elite warrior androids of the King from her time in the palace, raised an eyebrow. "Never heard of you.."

"I am new.." said Scalaknight. "Recently built."

Scalaknight pointed down at Mitsune and Garac. "You're holding two fugitives.. I am to detain them and execute them immediately.

"Oh really?" said Narina.

"Come and try you abomination of a machine!!!" Garac growled getting up.

"Hold on just a sec.." said Narina.

"WHAT!?" said Garac.

"I'll fight this guy.." Narina growled as electricity crackled around her angrilly. "After all.. HE BROKE MY FRIGGIN' CIELING!!!"

"You wish to intervene!?" said Scalaknight. "THEN YOU TOO SHALL BE ELIMINATED! RYUUU BLAAAAZEEEEE!!!"

"Ryuu Blaze!?" stammered Mitsune. "But.. th-that's Father's move!!"

Scalaknight opened his jaws, and a ginormous blast of fire exploded into the area where Narina was.

"Hypersonic Empress.."

Mitsune and Garac suddenly found themselves whisked away in a burst of speed.

"Jet Dragon Piston Punch.."

Before Scalaknight knew what was happening, a super fast set of electric punches exploded into his armored hide repeatedly, being so fast, that they looked more like gusts of  air with electric explosions.

Scalaknight was sent hurtling into the city, as a speedy blur followed after him, leaving several sonic booms in it's wake.

Narina in her Hyper Sonic Empress mode appeared at the bottom of the street of futuristic Tokyo as Scalaknight fell towards the spot.

Scalaknight caught himself in midair with a burst of thrusters from all over his body, he raised a robotic fist. "MECHA RYU RAGEEEE!!!"

Scalaknight punched his fist out, and several thruster-like mechanisms opened up on his arms, like some sort of red hot plasma cannons, and a molten flaming plasma blast exploded out, blasting through the street with incredible amounts of destruction.

"Too slow." said Narina casually, as she appeared suddenly behind Scalaknight.

"GRR!!" Scalaknight leapt away in shock. "DAMN!!! GREAT BUNKER BUSTER OF THE MECHA KNIGHT!!"

Scalaknight's fists both burned with molten plasma energy and he fired a rapid barrage of punches.

Narina became a blur of multiple afterimages as a super fast barrage of fireballs fired at her from Scalaknight's fists.

"S-So fast!" stammered Garac stammered as he watched the battle from the apartment above. "I am a Gust Type.. and yet, not even I can catch her movements!! She doesn't just control lightning... SHE IS LIGHTNING!"

Narina grinned as she turned into a blur and shot right past Scalaknight's fist and reappeared behind him again.

"Boo." said Narina as she sent a lightning infused kick down at the android's head, and sent it smashing down into the street below with a boom.

"You know.. considering one of my bests friends is an android, I really have nothing against them in general." said Narina. "But when you go ahead and besmirch my favorite Gundam animes by sending THAT to burn my roof apart, I get a little pissed! HOW CAN SOMETHING HAVE THE RIGHT TO  LOOK SO COOOL-"

Narina charged up a massive amount of lightning in her fist, before charging downwards at hyperspeed. "-AND BURN UP MY OWN HOME!!!!!!?"

"BOOOOMMMM!!!!" A crater was blasted into the street by an explosion of electricity..  but when the dust cleared, Narina found her fist was hitting bare rock.. with Scalaknight nowhere in sight.

"Not bad.. " Scalaknight was hovering in the air above Narina, this time, his entire body was enveloped in a flaming aura. " I never thought I would have to release my Power Restrictions on you.. I heard you were a rooky, but obviously, you're no ordinary rooky.. this must be one of your three forms I've heard so much about.. the form that moves with the speed of lightning itself.. Hypersonic Empress."

"Didn't know they were giving my forms such ridiculous titles." Narina said.

"Th-three forms!?" Garac stammered. "Three Wyrm Forms!? Impossible!! NOTHING LIKE THAT HAS EVER HAPPENED!"

"Nothing like Narina Yukata has ever been seen before." said Mitsune. "She may just have the potential to be the strongest of the Ryuu people.. just maybe.."

Garac grinned. "So.. this is the power of the one who defeated your father.."

"You look now at me in my released most unrestricted form.." said Scalaknight. "Narina Yukata.. my aspect is Fire.. come.. let us see who is truly faster!!!"

Narina chuckled. "Heh.. now things are interesting. Okay.. JET DRAGON... GATTLING!!!"

Narina shot into the air with a sonic boom and moved her electric fists at blitzing speeds, as Scalaknight moved his arms at equal speed, parrying each and every single blow.

Narina grinned again. "Not bad!! ALRIGHT!!! Show me what you've got!!!"

There was a blur of speed as Scalaknight turned into a fiery meteor that shot right behind Narina, raising a fist. "DRAGON KNIGHT METEOR!!!"

Scalaknight sent a flaming fist which turned into an orange streak as it blazed towards Narina. '

Narina crossed her arms together and grunted as she blocked the blow. But the force of the attack still sent her smashing down into the street below..

Narina rose from the crater, panting, her slightly scaly arms were bruised.

"As I suspected! That form grants you incredible speed, but it sacrifices plenty of defense for lightning your lustrous armor and skin." said Scalaknight as he glowed with even more power by the second. "My speed equals your Hypersonic form Narina! And my attack is stronger still!!"

Narina popped her neck and knuckles. "Heh! Wow, you're one spectacular android if that's the case.. but.. what makes you think you're as fast as me?"

"The Iron Forge has studied you as a possible enemy, we've studied all three of your forms!" said Scalaknight. 

"And.. your information is out of date." said Narina. "Ever since I graduated.. I've been training hard for the day when I'd finally fight Reaper.. what you've been fighting so far.. was just me at a small percent of my full speed."

"WHAT!?" Scalaknight growled. "Impossible. You're bluffing.."

"Am I?" Narina growled.

Narina took a deep breath, and calmed herself.. she bent her legs, and crossed her arms together.. " Body Enhancement: Draconic Wings.."

Electric energy swirled through Narina, the electricity then turned rainbow in color, as two angelic rainbow wings made of pure light erupted from her back.

"Each one of my three forms has one special move I use when I put all my energy into manipulating the very electrons of my electric powers." said Narina. "Called Body Enhancement which I can use for a short time... Draconic Wings is the move I use for Hypersonic Empress.. It manipulates the electrons I use, allowing them to ride on light waves.. by doing so.. I am able to ride on any light wave within my vicinity..

Narina grinned. "Essentially.. I can move at the speed of light.."

"But.. you'd burn up!!" Scalaknight growled

"My body's nature is electricity, pure lightning erupts from my very cells.." Narina said. "Any energy or heat related power, is useless against me in this form.. which in turn, allows me to move at any speed!!"

"That is the largest amount of bullcrap I've ever heard!!!" Scalaknight growled, charging up energy into his fist. "I'LL BLAST THROUGH YOUR BLUFF RIGHT HERE!!"

"Starlight Vice.." Narina whispered.

There was a sudden streak of rainbow light... and Narina appeared behind Scalaknight, sweating as her rainbow wings faded away..

Scalaknight froze, making choking noises.. before breaking in half.. and falling to the street below.

"4 nanoseconds.." Narina panted. "For 8 feet.. guess I'm still getting a grip of this move.. usually.. it would only be around 2 nanoseconds.. if I really concentrated.."

"So.. strong.. " Scalaknight groaned as his top half's circuits crackled. "You truly became.. this powerful in such a short amount of time.. it's as they said.. you're a prodigy.."

"Hey.." Narina looked up at Garac and Mitsune. "Look, I'll be honest.. I know nothing about our tribe.. but.. I can assure you this.. I'll do everything in my power to save your people.. no... our people.. got it?"

Mitsune stared down at Narina, amazement apparent in her eyes.

What was this feeling? Just looking at this powerful dragon girl, who had done what people twice her age, had failed to do to Scalaknight..  

Was this.. hope?

"Now.." said Narina, her eye twitching with irritation. "Who do I see about repairing my ceiling?"
