If you don't have kids now you probably will someday. During their lifetime there will be several major milestones. First day of school. First boyfriend or girlfriend. Graduation from high school. All of these will be events to cherish. Things you can talk about with your kids later in life and share the impact all these "firsts" had on their lives. Unless of course your daughter is Lauren. Firsts have never impressed her. This was the first text I got from her first day in college.
