Lauren- Dad!

Me- Yeah?

Lauren- I am going to become a Presbyterian!

Me- Okay.

Lauren- Do you want to become one with me?

Me- No. 

Lauren- Seriously dad you need to lose weight too!

Me- Yeah, I don't think that word means what you think it means.

Lauren- OMG Dad why are baseball players so hot?

Me- Shut up.

Lauren- Dad! We were supposed to be watching Orion meteor showers right now! 

Me- Oh yeah, I forgot about them. Let me get my shoes!

I get my shoes and go to her room and the door is locked. 

Me- I thought we were watching the meteor showers?

My phone beeps. I get a  text message from her that reads "Too late" and a link to a site where I can see the meteor showers "live".  

She ignores me all the next day. lol
