Hermione was on the dance floor with Viktor Krum, they were in the middle of a slow dance. Ron scanned the room for her and once he spotted Hermione, he made his way over to her. He gripped her arm and dragged her off the dance floor.

"What the bloody hell, ron!" Hermione yanked her arm out his grip.

"We have an emergency. Come on!" He told her as he began to quickly walk towards the exit.

Hermione walked next to him, "What is going on?"

Ron sighed, "Y/n was taken by Voldemort. We don't know why. Harry is going to leave soon to get her/him/them back." He opened the door for her, "I told him he isn't doing it alone."

"You're damn right." She agreed.

They both quickly found their way to Harry as he was just about to leave. Honestly, he didn't know where to begin to look for you. All he knew was that you were taken and that he had to get you back. You are important to him but to Hermione, you're way more.

So hearing the news was unsettling and now all she wanted to do was destroy Voldemort and tell you how much she regretted not telling you how she felt when she had the chance. You told her a couple nights ago that you like her more than just friends and she didn't respond the way you hoped.

She was stunned. All she could do was blurt out that she already had a date to the Yule ball. I guess you can say she was scared? But right now, she had no time to think about that. The only thing on her mind was getting you back, safe and sound with the help of her two best friends.
