Today was a cold morning! As usual. There wasn't any snow falling or any blizzards for a week. It seems like a good day to go out and start exploring for some goodies.

A man yawned after getting some hours of sleep. He sat up and rubbed his eyes and sat there in a daze. It took a moment for him to finally wake up and get the day started.

He brushed his teeth and took a nice long shower before getting out. Making sure his hair was dry he then put his clothes on to get ready for the day.

He grabbed his backpack and left his little house he lives in. Today was the day he starts exploring in different areas he never visited before. It's been a while since he went out to explore due to a flu he had.

After almost a week of recovering he was feeling more better than ever. The first thing he did was visit the mayor in town.

While waking by he waved at people who greeted him. The town folks were glad to see he was feeling better since they know he was sick for a while.

Entering, he greeted the worker and went upstairs without a rush. There he saw the mayor sleeping in his desk. It wasn't surprising at all to see the elder man sleeping at random times.

A gentle shake was enough to awake the older one,"Huh wha? Oh! Jim! It's good to see you!" He exclaimed with a happy expression.

The man named Jim smiled back,"Good to see you too! Sorry for disappearing for a while.." He apologized. The mayor waved it off,"No no don't be sorry, you were sick. Im happy to see you doing well now."

Jim nod,"Thank you, I was going to get back out there and do my usual activities." The mayor made a small frown but returned his smile. He was worried for him to go out there alone after the whole rocks incident.

He knew Jim was gone for a long time, and his prayers has been answers after an angel came down to save him from his death. He would never forget their name and face.

Speaking of which, he had good news to tell him. "Hey son, before you go...I happen to see Player visiting the town today. They were nice enough to drop by and say hi to me. They even asked if you were doing okay. Isn't that sweet?" He awed.

Jim nearly froze from that name. Player? They are here right now!? How come he didn't see them walking by when he made his way to the mayor? Did they possibly left already?

You could say he has a HUGE celebrity crush on Player. Almost every town knows them and they admire them for being their hero and protector. Their fans will do anything to get a single chat with them.

Sure they all praise Player for being amazing but...Jim was on a whole deeper level. Ever since the day he met them after his close death, he couldn't stop thinking about them. At first he thought maybe he just wanted to talk to them again and be friends.

But no, he wanted to be closer with Player more than ever. He's usually never a person to be so lovely dovey in his life. He just can't help it. The way they fight..their cute smile...their charming personality...he couldn't get enough of it.

Sadly Jim was a nervous wreck around them. He doesn't have the guts to make eye contact again. If only he had the confidence...

The mayor knew what was going on. He could smell love in the air between Jim and Player. He would be so happy to see Jim get into a relationship.

Seeing how Jim was shock to hear about Player, he continued,"I'm pretty sure they are still here. I heard they are selling some neat cards to the shop owners."

Jim eyes widen a little more with hope. There was still time to see them. But how in the world can he do that?

"Oh uh thanks, I'll make sure to greet them before I leave," he said and turn around to head out. Before he can fully leave he heard the mayor yell,"Go get em tiger!"

Jim felt heavy blush spreading across his face. He knew he was cooked if he DID happen to talk to Player on the way out.

His boots stepped onto the crunchy snow as his head whip around to see any sign of a familiar bandana. He walked down the path to make his way to the cards shop.

Every steps felt like it was getting shaky. His hand tighten around the strap of his backpack. He felt EXTREMELY nervous to see them again after a long time of staying in.

During his sick time he would always never miss the news because Player would often pop up. He felt like his day goes better just by looking at the image of them on the screen.

They were perfect, and he was no one.

Jim knows he's not as special as them or anyone else. He's just some regular guy who happens to stupidly get himself almost killed by a bunch of rocks.

He couldn't even protect himself from the enemies, he would just flee until they lost him. He knew he wasn't strong as the Player, and he felt pathetic because of it.

It couldn't be helped. It was just the way he is. But he does love exploring a lot, just like Player. With a little bit of bravery..he could feel like he can achieve something.

Jim finally reached to the card shops. And to no surprise, Player wasn't there. A huge wave of disappointment washed over him. He was really hoping to see Player or at least get a sight of them.

Surely he'll get lucky next time, right?

Jim released a long sigh. He figured something like this would happen. The moment he turned around to walk, someone harshly bumped into him. Causing him and the unknown person to fall down.

The crash was pretty harsh so it took a while for Jim to regain his consciousness back,"Oh crap! I'm so sorry!"

That voice...

Jim blinked a couple of times to get his vision back. His head hurts like hell, assuming that the rocky path was a hard landing for him. His eyes landed on the person who was on top of him.

In that moment, he can feel his heart drop like a roller coaster. His body merely got more stuck on the ground. There was no way he was seeing this with his own eyes.

There they were. Player. The only hero who could exist.

He was staring at them intensely as if they were a ghost, trying to see if they were real. The pain was aching his head and so with his body but he couldn't care less about it right now.

Even in a cold weather he starts to sweat. Player was right on top of him with their body pressed against his. They were looking at him with an apologetic look.

"Oh my gosh I am so sorry! Here— let me help!" The worried traveler swiftly got off of him and hold their hand out. Jim only stared at their face for a bit before snapping out of it and taking their hand.

They gently pull them up back on his feet. The warmth of their palm made Jim's heart skip a beat. What's wrong with him? Why can't he just act like a normal person for a second?

It couldn't be helped, facing someone you truly admire is a whole different feeling. He's such a nervous wreck for this person.

Player noticed Jim not speaking a peep out. They were worried if they upset them for causing the damage in the first place. "Jim right? I am incredibly sorry for bumping into to you..accident really!"

Jim finally snap out of his trace and shook his head,"Oh no no! Don't be sorry! I-I should've been careful next time!" He waved his hands around in a fast pace. How could he ever get mad at them?

Player felt a little relieved that he greatly accepted their apology but a hint of guilt was still lingering,"Again, sorry...I heard you were sick for a while so I didn't expect to see you out here."

They...knew that he was sick? They DO care after all,"So how are you feeling? Better I'm assuming?" Player asked with a genuine smile.

Jim blinked and realized he's been staring too long at them. He didn't want to make himself look more of a creep than he already is,"Oh uh yeah I'm feeling good! J-just got out of the house today after staying in," he explained.

The other was glad to hear he was feeling better. After visiting the mayor they were actually gonna buy some soup and visit his house to drop it off. Right after they sell cards of course.

"That's good to hear then. Well..again, so sorry for bumping into you. I'll be heading off!" Player said their goodbyes and gave him a wave before taking off.

Jim turned to them walking away almost in a quick manner. He didn't want them to go. He still wanted to keep talking to them before it's too late. Should he do something?

In his mind he was debating if he should stop them or not. He knew it would be a long time to see them again. They always head off to different kinds of places each day by day.

With enough courage he finally fought against the voices in his head telling otherwise and spoke out,"H-HEY! Uh..."

He felt stupid for shouting out of no where like that..but it did caught Players attention. They stop walking and turn to Jim with a confused expression. They didn't say anything but waited for Jim to continue.

The man took this opportunity to continue,"Um...sorry but..I was wondering if you..wanna....hangout..?" His words sounded more of a question than an invitation. The urge to slap himself across the face is strong.

Player stared at him for a second. If they were being honest, they did find Jim very cute. And not only that..they have been visiting places a lot lately. So they were feeling kinda burnt out from moving from places to another.

It would be a good break to just chill and hang out with friends in the meantime. No more fighting enemies for now. The swords can come later..

Poor Jim was shaking in his boots right now. He can see the judgment in Players eyes, he knew he should've just let them go. He's starting to think it's a bad idea now, he never done this before— well he has, but he didn't invited his CRUSH to hang out before.

Would it be too late to just start running away now? He can't be with them! They are too important and they don't want to be with a loser like him. Maybe he should just-

"Yeah I'm down!"

What?

The snow falls from the sky. The wind won't stop making the trees shake crazily. It was night time, everyone in town should be sleeping peacefully on their bed and enjoying their dreams. But not these two.

A movie was playing from a tv. It was a nice cartoon movie kids would watch if they were bored. Two friends were sitting on the couch watching the screen together. Player and Jim.

Surprisingly enough, Player was cuddling close to Jim while wrapped in a cozy blanket. They weren't honestly paying too much attention to the movie. They are pretty busy snuggling against Jim like a clingy cat.

And then there was Jim. Sitting there looking like a tomato. He was still trying to get use to this kind of affection from Player. He always tried his best to not look flustered but he failed in the end.

How did this happen? It just did. After Jim and Player hang out in his house for the first time Player has come visit more often. It felt like a comfort zone to chill in. Plus having a friend by their side too.

Or are they even friends at all? Judging by how Player was invading Jim's personal space, he didn't mind at all. He enjoys the attention Player gives him, despite if it's small or not.

Though lately Player has taken a bit of dominance and 'innocent' teasing towards Jim. He felt like he should do something back instead of just sitting there with a blush on his face.

He wanted to at least show he can play that game as well. As they were watching the movie Player was enjoying the warmth of the blanket and Jim's body. They wanted to fall asleep right then and there.

For some reason Player has the sudden urge to just mess around with Jim. They LOVED seeing his flustered face. It was a cute reaction!

They shifted to sit up more and slowly got on top of Jim. Their whole body blocked the view of the tv as Player was sitting on his lap with a smug on their face.

They knew what they were doing. But it's was mostly for funs and giggles. Jim look up at Player caught off guard by the sudden action. His body was frozen against them and he was feeling REALLY hot.

Player smiled,"Hehe, you're so adorable!" They giggled and gently pinch his cheeks. Jim was now starting to hate that he was being treated like a dog. He let them had their fun way too much now.

It was his turn to make a move.

His hands travel up towards Players body. He hesitated for a moment, but then got the motivation to put his hands on Players hips. The curves felt so smooth and glorious. Their body was perfect the way it is without a doubt.

A small squeak came out of Players mouth. They didn't expect AT ALL for Jim to do that. They never think he would have the guys to actually do that. They're not sure why they felt sensitive all of a sudden.

They can feel Jim's thumb rub against their sides in a smooth movement. It felt comforting and satisfying at the same time.

Player can feel their cheeks tingle. They're not sure on what to do or say. Speaking didn't felt appropriate at the moment. Once he was done rubbing, he gently got a hold of Player and place them to lay on the couch.

His body moved to a new position they never did before. Well, it was the same position them and Jim were in when they accidentally bump into each other. This time he was on top of Player.

Both of their gaze met each other. Player felt their heart race. This time it wasn't in fear from the danger they have faced alone. It was excitement.

They were honestly excited to see what will happen next. Though right now they were kind of nervous. Since they were never treated like this before. Their ex never bothered to do something like this.

Jim can feel his confidence slowly rising down. He started to question himself if he should keep going or stop. He doesn't want to make Player feel uncomfortable or make them mad. His only desire is to make them happy no matter what.

Perhaps in one night it could change both of their fates forever. Player notices Jim struggling to continue. They knew he was just trying to be careful.

They raise their hand up against his cheek and gave him a warm smile,"Jim, please...I want to see more of you." They whispered.

Those words felt like music to his ears. He can feel the eagerness coming back to him in an instant. He wanted to show how much he loves them in a heartbeat. He wanted to see more of them too.

And so, he slowly leaned forward and plant a kiss on their lips. He wasn't even thinking or debate if he should pull a move like that. But he couldn't care less.

Player was shocked but honestly expected this. They did their best to stay calm and slowly kiss back. The warmth on his lips felt amazing, it feels like they connected with Jim a lot more.

It has set a connection between the two. Jim felt fireworks explode in his stomach. He couldn't believe he actually had the chance to do this with his crush. If he can he would have raise his fist in the air in succession.

Player could only try their best to not panic and go with the flow. They didn't want to mess up the kiss so they try to make sure Jim enjoys it. It was amazing feeling they had with him. They were happy receiving this type of attention from someone you love.

The kiss lasted long. They both pulled away for some air, their eyes met in the process. In those eyes.....

They were hungry.
