Separation

Stolas & Stella had arrived at their Mansion, where they sat down next to each other on the couch of the living room. Stolas had been thinking about what Blitzø said.

"Stella, was I really that bad?" Stolas asked

"...To be honest...yes." Stella said "Stolas, you don't listen to anyone but yourself & all it took for Blitzø to get you to listen to him was for him to change into another form & grab you by the throat which scared you to your wits. Just what do you see in him anyway?"

"It's because he was my first ever friend." Stolas said

"He...was what?" Stella said shockingly

"On my 11th Birthday, my father had him over to spend the day with me, we've had a great time together & became good friends. When I saw him again for the first time in 25 years, I was overjoyed & when he came onto me, I thought he wanted me, but I guess he only wanted my grimoire for his business." Stolas explained

"...I never knew you two were childhood friends." Stella said as she was speechless

"Stella, if you didn't want Blitzø to come over for dinner then why did you consented when I asked you?" Stolas asked

"Because I was doing it for you, the reason why I decided to put my hatred aside & get to know Blitzø is because I cared." Stella said

"You...cared." Stolas said surprisingly

"Yes...even after everything you've done, even though I berate & insult you, I care about you." Stella said

"...I never knew you cared." Stolas said.

"I did, when I found out you slept with him, I got so mad that I hired a hitman to kill you." Stella said

"You what?" Stolas said shockingly

"..." Stella looked away in silence

"Why would you even care about me sleeping with someone else, I mean this is Hell, no one cares about someone having an affair." Stolas said

"I wasn't mad about the affair, I was mad about who you had the affair with, you could have slept with an Overlord or any high ranked demon, but you chose to sleep with a demon of the lowest rank." Stella said

"I see...Stella, I would feel bad if I hurt you, but we both know I didn't do that. You and I were arranged for one reason; to birth a precautionary heir to the Goetia family, nothing more. I tried so many years to make it comfortable for us; to have this family, but it was never enough." Stolas said

"Well, if I treated you so badly, then why didn't you throw me out of your life?" Stella said

"Because I wanted Via to have a normal life." Stolas said "If the roles were reversed, you would've done the same thing for her."

Stella said nothing as she knew he was right.

"She needed both of us, Stella, she was hurt so much by the affair that she thought I was gonna run off with Blitzø & leave her behind." Stolas said

"...Stolas, I...." Stella said guiltily with tear-filled eyes "It's all my fault...I'd been a horrible person...I'm so sorry."

"I know." Stolas said

"...Stolas, I think it would be best if we...separated." Stella said

"I think that would be best as well, both of us need help & we need some time away from each other before we decide to work things out." Stolas said "You can take Via with you if you want."

"...Okay." Stella said as she stood up & left the room

After Stella & Octavia packed their things

"Bye Dad, I love you." Octavia said as she hugged him

"Goodbye, my owlet, I'll see you later." Stolas said as he kissed her head

"Via, wait for me in the limousine, I'll be right there." Stella said as Octavia left

"Are you sure about this, Stella?" Stolas asked

"It's for the best." Stella said "We'll be staying with my brother for the time being."

"Alright, be safe & take care of yourselves." Stolas said

"We will." Stella said

Stella walked away before she stopped & looked back at him before walking out the door

Meanwhile, Stella & Octavia were in the limousine.

"Mom?" Octavia said

"Yes, my darling?" Stella replied

"I overheard your conversation with Dad." Octavia said shyly

"Oh...you heard all that?" Stella said

"Yeah...did you & Dad ever want me or was I...a mistake?" Octavia said

"Via, don't say that, of course we wanted you." Stella said "I don't know if your father told you or if he at least tried to tell you, but I haven't been a good wife to him, the reason I married your father is because I was in an arranged marriage with him."

"So, you never loved each other?" Octavia asked

"...Not really." Stella said

"...Mom, if I fell in love with a low rank demon, would you have me...killed as well." Octavia said much to Stella's shock

"What? No, absolutely not, I would never do that." Stella said as she hugged her daughter "Via, I love you with all my heart & so does your father, we would never let anything or anyone hurt you. I'm very sorry for all that's happening in our family, but I promise you that things will get better sooner or later, okay my love?"

"Okay, I love you too, mom." Octavia said

"That's my girl, if it makes you feel any better, Blitzø ended the affair with your father." Stella said

"He did." Octavia said surprisingly

"It was never the imp's intention to take your away from you, so he returned the grimoire early & told your father to stay out of his life." Stella said

"But what about the deal they had about IMP?" Octavia said

"Blitzø disbanded his company yesterday, that's why he returned the book early." Stella said "He's currently working at the Hazbin Hotel."

"Hazbin Hotel? You mean the one Charlie created for sinners to be redeemed?" Octavia said

"Exactly." Stella said affirmatively

"Oh...y'know, after finding out that Blitzø was Dad's first childhood friend, I'm beginning to feel guilty about misjudging & resenting him." Octavia said "I didn't mean to tear them apart."

"It's alright, Via, it's not your fault. Hopefully your father will be able to rekindle his friendship with Blitzø." Stella said

Moxxie, Millie, & Loona were still tied up in the room until Collin, Vortex, & Martha Kids Ralfina & Marshall entered.

"We told you already, we don't know where Blitzø is." Moxxie said

"We're not here for interrogation, we're here to get you out of here." Collin said

"What? But why?" Moxxie asked

"Look Moxxie, me & my brother are repaying you for sparing us even though you ended up having us killed by the authorities." Ralfina said

"& me & Vortex refuse to partake in this revenge scheme." Collin said

After they untied the trio

"Thanks." Loona said gratefully

"Before y'all go, y'all said that you had an argument with him, what was it about?" Marshall said

"..." The trio looked away in guilt

"Loona? What happened?" Vortex said

"It's a bitter pill to swallow." Loona said

The trio explained what happened between them & Blitzø, Vortex, Collin, Ralfina, & Marshall were shocked

"How the fuck could you say that to him!?" Vortex said angrily

"We didn't mean what we said, we were just frustrated." Moxxie said

"That's your excuse? After everything he did for you, that is how you repay him? No wonder he fired your asses!" Vortex said

"Wait a minute, Tex, Blitzø didn't fire us, he just kicked us out." Loona said uneasily

"In other words he fired y'all." Ralfina corrected with a glare

"What you three did was unforgivable, no thanks to you, Blitzø has ran off to who knows where & doesn't have a clue that he's in danger!" Collin scolded

"Guys, please, can you at least help us find him." Millie pleaded

"No, you guys are on your own, & Loona, you just lost my respect for you." Vortex said "Besides, you guys need to pack your shit & move to somewhere far from here so the others won't be able to find you."

"But Tex—." Loona said

"Same with you, Moxxie, now you three get outta here, before they come back." Marshall said

The trio said nothing as they left, they decided to go to Stolas' palace while hoping Blitzø was there.

"Sire, it's Blitzø's employees, they're here." Chives said

"Send them in." Stolas said simply

When the trio confronted him

"I've been expecting you three." Stolas said

"You have?" Moxxie said

"Yes, Blitzø had given back my grimoire early which was a surprise yesterday, when I saw him today he said that he disbanded IMP yesterday." Stolas said

"He what?" Moxxie said shockingly along with Millie & Loona.

"You heard write, I was informed by my butler that he looked upset when he returned the book, care to explain?" Stolas said suspiciously

"Um..." Moxxie said nervously

"What happened?" Stolas asked sternly

The trio reluctantly explained what happened yesterday, let's just say words couldn't describe how angry Stolas was.

"How dare you say such dreadful things to him!" Stolas shouted angrily

"We were just frustrated, we didn't mean any of those things." Moxxie said

"Now I know why he sounded hurt when we talked over the phone last night, you three have crossed the line!" Stolas said

"We're sorry..." Loona said shamefully along with Moxxie & Millie

"I hope you three are satisfied, now that you threw him out of your lives." Stolas said disappointedly

"But your highness, do you know where he is, we need to see him." Millie said

"Why, so you can make things worse, if I were you I would leave him alone." Stolas said

"But Stolas, you don't understand—." Moxxie said

"No, I have heard enough, now the three of you get out of my palace, now." Stolas demanded

"But sir, Blitzø is in danger!" Moxxie said

"I SAID GET OUT!" Stolas shouted in a demonic voice.

The trio fearfully & quickly exited the palace, they realized that there was nothing they could do, now that IMP has been disbanded they are officially jobless. Wherever Blitzø was, they hoped he was somewhere safe.
