48 hours had passed since the shocking conclusion of NXT Takeover: Tampa from the reveal of "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt as the Bliss Republic's higher power to the emotionally scarred punt kick of Randy Orton on his "son" Alex Auditore. For Raw tonight, Alexa will address the events at Tampa and will vow revenge on the turncoats Josh Stevens and Peyton Royce.

The Brotherhood now co-led by Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens struggled to come to terms of Alex out of action indefinitely with most of them hoping for Alex to walk through the locker room door, but they can only hope and dream. Tegan has chosen to have work leave to be at the side of the Pharaoh. 

Josh: what now guys?

Kevin: we're still in shock of what happened

Rhea: never knew Orton will do that to his own protege

Roman: even Alex's own wife was all in on this

Keith: now the Republic has The Fiend whispering in their ears

They turned to the screen to see the Bliss Republic walking towards the ring as they will address the events that went down.

Candice: let's see what they have to say

(In the ring)

The Bliss Republic's theme played and out came the group led by Alexa and the new United States Champion Randy both with evil smirks on their faces. As they got in the ring, the Viper took this time to gloat as he raised the title he took from his apprentice. The crowd booed loudly. The Goddess got on the mic.

Alexa: this past Saturday, you all witness the fall of my husband!

The crowd booed.

Alexa: I did really well as a referee; I called it down fairly, so now bask in the presence of your new United States Champion, Randy Orton!

The Republic clapped for the veteran member.

Alexa: now we don't want to brag, but what the hell? Let's roll that footage again!

The big screen showed the closing moments of the main event from the revelation of the Fiend to the punt kick. After that, Alexa looked at the camera.

Alexa: oh Alex, how are you feeling? Hurt, that your own "father" kicked you to the curb? Your own lovely wife being apart of this evil scheme? I saw that look in your eyes Alex, you're afraid when our higher power showed up

She giggled evilly.

Alexa: you called yourself the Pharaoh, so I'll say, have fun in the afterlife

The crowd booed.

Alexa: now, onto tonight's festivities; I want to address the married couple of Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano; you two say you're the prime example of couples goals, so the Bliss Republic wants to challenge and test you two for that; tonight, you two will go against Finn Balor and his lovely wife, the Raw Women's Champion and no longer your resident Hugger Bayley!

The NXT fans' top ship couple smirked evilly while Finn kissed Bayley's head.

Alexa: now to the traitors of our vision, Josh Stevens and Peyton Royce, you may have betrayed the Bliss Republic, but trust me, your punishment will come sooner or later

The Republic were interrupted by the Brotherhood's theme. The group came out with the Big Dog and KO leading the charge. As Alexa and the Republic stared down at the Brotherhood, the Goddess did the mocking search look.

Alexa: oh you're here, but wait where's your leader, where's my beloved husband? Oh that's right, he's somewhere laid up on a hospital bed

Kevin: you may have taken out Alex on order from your so called higher power who's nothing more than a man with a mask while he runs a nuthouse

Roman: Alex, may not be here tonight to fight alongside us, but we are still apart of his mission to free you all from the corruption

Alexa: we all dare you to try

Roman: you all just granted a death wish

The Big Dog dropped the mic and the Brotherhood charged towards the ring and a huge hellacious brawl was underway; Orton and Alexa got out and retreated and could only watch the mayhem in the ring; the fight spilled to the outside and the ones who remained in the ring were the participants for the mixed tag team main event match: Johnny & Candice and Finn & Bayley. Then the two couples started trading punches with the Brotherhood couple winning and sending the Demon Hug couple out of the ring. As the dust settled, the Bliss Republic retreated to the stage and regrouped while the Brotherhood gathered in the ring as the crowd cheered.

Kevin: we may be outnumbered, but we won't stop fighting until you all go down! This is for freedom in the WWE, and this is for Alex!

The two groups stared down each other as the show went to commercial.

(In the locker room)

Candice was wrapping her wrists up until she got a FaceTime call from Tegan.

Candice: hey Tegan!

Tegan: hey, I just watched what happened, damn it was all hell breaking loose

Candice: all of us just had enough of Alexa and Randy insulting Alex

Then Johnny came in to see that Candice was FaceTiming Tegan.

Johnny: hi!

Tegan: the couple is together

Johnny: where are you now?

Tegan: I'm with Alex at the hospital, just taking care of him for the mean time

Candice: is he awake, can we see him?

Tegan: yeah he is, hold on let me face the phone to him

The Shiniest Wizard faced her phone to the bedridden leader of the Brotherhood. Alex had a cast around his head due to the trauma of Randy's punt kick

Alex: hi...

Candice: Alex, how are you feeling?

Alex: head is okay, but it still really hurts

Johnny: we understand how you feel

Alex: I see you have a match tonight

Candice: couple vs. couple

Alex: well good luck, and kick ass; I'll be watching

Johnny: make sure you get some rest too

Alex: I got nurse Tegan to keep me company

He looked and smiled at her and see she was blushing.

Candice: okay, we have a match to do, so watch us kick ass; and Tegan, be a good girl

Tegan: yes mom

Alex: one more thing

Johnny: what's that, man?

Alex: there will be a message on screen during your match

Johnny: what's that, man?

Alex: let's just say it's a surprise for Alexa, Randy, the Republic and especially The Fiend once I return to action

Candice: we'll just play the guessing game

Alex: let's just say, I talk to the guy in the production truck to promote my return

Candice: we can't wait for you to return

Johnny: our match is next, so we have to go

Alex: good luck you two

Tegan: bye!

Candice: bye!

Candice ended the call.

Candice: let's go babe

Johnny: time for a fight

Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Wrestling left for the match.

(Johnny and Candice vs. Finn and Bayley)

Johnny Wrestling and the Demon King started off the match and fans were excited to witness a dream match. Johnny got Finn with lightning speed combinations of kicks and punches, surprising the Bliss Republic lieutenant. Finn then tagged in his wife, and Mrs. Gargano got in and stepped up to the ex-Hugger.

Candice and Bayley traded shots with the Demon Queen momentarily getting the upper hand, but Candice fired back after blocking a kick; Mrs. Gargano then fired back. Candice sent Bayley to the outside; as Finn went to check his wife, Johnny took out Finn with a dropkick, giving the Brotherhood members the upper hand.

(End of match)

Finn was looking to end the Brotherhood members as he measured Johnny for the Bullet Club style shotgun dropkick. As he was gonna go for the shot, an ominous theme played as the screen was bright white.

As the theme played, most of the people of the crowd instantly recognized the tune as the theme of Sephiroth, the main villain in the game Final Fantasy VII. As the theme continued to play, Finn and Bayley were watching as a black hooded figure came walking towards the screen. The figure was dressed exactly like Sephiroth, with the long black coat, black boots, black pants and silver pauldrons on his shoulders; however a hood was over his head to cover his face.

Then the figure ascended to the air and from his back was a single black angel wing.

The figure flew into the clouds as a message came on screen which read, "The One-Winged Angel cometh."

Then the screen went black, leaving Finn and Bayley confused, but as they turned around, they were dragged down as Johnny and Candice put them in a stereo Gargano Escapes in the center of the ring. With no where near the ropes, the Demon King and the Raw Women's Champion tapped out.

(In the Republic locker room)

The Bliss Republic were confused of what happened with the mysterious one-winged hooded figure.

Shepherd: I honestly have no words for that

Seth: the One-Winged Angel cometh

Travis: whoever is this One-Winged Angel, we have to be ready

Pierce: we don't if he's siding with the Brotherhood

Colby: we can't presume it's Alex, since he is taken out two nights ago

Randy: I know it's Alex

Chase: Colby is right, there's no proof it's Alex, so we have to pay attention to these vignettes

Alexa: Chase is right, let's not make any assumptions; this is just a setback

As Finn and Bayley came in, the Republic helped them to the couch.

(The Brotherhood's locker room)

Kofi: a debut for a new Superstar?

Xavier: that's a possibility

Io: I'm confused as all of you

Then Johnny and Candice came in.

Johnny: you all saw that right?

Candice: we won, but that message is what got us

WALTER: do you think this One-Winged Angel is a friend or foe?

Rhea: we don't know, and it's just the first vignette, so we have to be ready for another one

Everyone agreed to the Nightmare's statement. With the vague message now in both groups minds; the Brotherhood and the Bliss Republic will now have to be on their heels for the coming of the One-Winged Angel.
